Mac Os X: Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 Lightroom Classic 11.4.1 I've tried everything and can't get Lightroom to open correctly. Tried multiple times to delete the following file and restart my computer. Hold Shift + Option and launch the program to reset the settings. Tried uninstalling Lightroom and installing an older version. ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.LightroomClassicCC7.plist I've managed to bypass the reading preferences page by opening a catalog but the program won't function. When I click on Develop tab I get another error "An error occurred when attempting to change modules." Any help would be appreciated. I've attached 2 text reports after attempting to close the program. All my other Adobe programs are working without any issues.
Hi,I bought Lightroom lifetime licence in 2017, my Serial number:<Removed: Serial numbers should NEVER be posted> Unfortunately, my computer became wrong and I have a new one. Please be so kind and help me recover my LR 6, where can I download again my original version? I very rarely need to use this software, but in those cases it is extremely important to me. Thank you very much. KR, Andrea Hugyak
Hi all, I have moved onto a new machine, so it's a completely new installation of Windows 11 Pro and LR Classic. Katalog and Data are on existing harddrive with same drive letters. With any existing catalog LR crashes while or shorty after opening the catalog. I can create a new catalog, but also can't import from any other existing catalog. As I said, I have started from a clean fresh install from creative cloud, and meanwhile I have deinstalled and re-installed LR Classic several time - but the result is the same. I can't open any existing catalog (which is years of work). Any ideas or does the crash report point to and indication? Thanks, ChristaCrash report starts like this; I have tried to attach the file but wasn't successfull.<?xml version="1.0"?><!DOCTYPE AdobeCrashReport SYSTEM "AdobeCrashReporter.dtd"><crashreport serviceVersion="13.2.0.202308091502_65b8636" clientVersion="13.2.0.202308091502_65b8636" applicationName="Adobe Lightroom Classic" app
Hello, I use Lightroom Classic, and have the mobile app on my phone to auto import my mobile photos. A while back my (brand new) desktop crashed and the motherboard and harddrives were replaced. Fortunately, I back up my photos fairly regularly to my redundant storage, so I haven't lost any images. However, I do have a bit of an issue and I'm wondering if there is an easy fix or if I'll have to get creative. There was a gap in timing between my last manual backing up of the auto-import folder on my desktop prior to the crash, versus the last Lightroom backup. So Lightroom knows the photos exist and is showing them as missing files, which is to be expected. The problem is, they aren't actually on the computer, so it isn't a matter of showing Lightroom where they are. The originals are still on my phone, as well as in the auto folder in the mobile app. If anyone has an idea of how to go about fixing this, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks! Lindsay
Wrong colors in lightroom navigation window.myby anyone have some problem?
Hi, when i am exporting images for a fixed resolution it is allways off by 1 or 2 pixels, this is dealbreaking for me because our online gallery depends on the exact same picture dimensions. When trying it throug PS image processor it is the same result.
I was able to use the people masking feauture a few months ago and loved it. Now, I get this error when trying to use it: "Your computer does not have enough graphics memory to support this feature." I have no idea what this means. My computer is a 2019 Macbook pro, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB; anyone have any suggestions?? I reached out to virtual assistant on Adobe and they said to install an older version of Lightroom Classic. I've re-installed about 5 older versions and none of them allow me to use the people masking feature 😞 Any adivce is MUCH appreciated!!!
As you can see from the system info below, I have a reasonable spec Windows 11 PC with plenty of memory and using an SDD (C:) for catalog etc.The syetm is very slow when moving between images in Library and Develop with "Loading" showing as I move between images. I was trying to figure this out and looked at system info. I am no expert (far from it), but don't know whether the cache1 and cache2 entries showing no memory assigned is an issue or not. This also seems to be far worse when a preset has been applied. Any help would be appreciated. This is starting to drive me nuts when moving between 1,000s of images from sports events etc. Lightroom Classic version: 13.4 [ 202406181129-60d181b7 ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Business EditionVersion: 11.0.22631Application architecture: x64System architecture: x64Logical processor count: 16Processor speed: 3.8GHzSqLite Version: 3.36.0CPU Utilisation: 0.0%Power Source: Plugged In, 255%
Lightroom sometimes (also after some adjustments) display the image with artificial coloring in develop mode (meanwhile when I switch back to Libary, then it is all right). I have already the lastest update. Do anybody see the same issue? Any idea how to fix this? PS. my lightroom crushes also quick often. I don't know whether the both issues are somehow related to the same bug? I always kept update it and even de-install and re-install it several times. I'm running a 2023 MacBookPro with an M2Pro chip, Sonoma 14.5. Every time I open Lightroom Classic 13.4, it stalls, the evil wheel appears, and I am forced to force quit the app. Further tries result in nothing. If I restart the computer, Lightroom Classic then works perfectly, until the next time I open it again after closing it. I imagine this is not a new problem, but it started for me a few months ago after no upgrade by Apple or Adobe. What do I do now? And Apple is about to launch 14.6. This is silly.
My newest Lightroom catalog is apparently corrupted or something. I did get already the old catalog opened, but it is two months old and I would really like to open this latest one with newest edits. This doesn't agree at all. Only an icon like this appears here, but does not open Lightroom. However, it appears as a task in the task manager.I have already reinstalled Lightroom a couple of times, opened the computer several times and done all the tricks what I got from here. Now Lightroom does open generally and with old catalog, but not with the newest catalog. How would I get that latest catalog opened or is it anyhow possible?😭 #DesperateWindows. Danke
Dear Adobe Team, I would like to provide some feedback regarding Lightroom Classic, particularly related to the person selection tool. Although I have clearly marked a bald male head using the person selection tool, Lightroom consistently selects the wrong person (a woman with long black hair) when synchronizing multiple images. The two individuals are sitting in the same position, with only slight variations in posing. This is problematic as it is time-consuming to manually correct each individual photo. It would be great if there was an option to manually correct the selection of the wrong person by simply dragging and dropping the selection to the correct person. This would greatly simplify the photo editing process and save time, and would be a valuable addition to the person selection tool, improving the overall user experience of Lightroom Classic. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards Lightroom Classic 12.3OS: Windows 11
I use the badges to see at a glance which photos have adjustments, but now the "Photo is in collection" badge is cluttering up the badge field (is that a new badge?) This particular badge is completely useless to me, so I'd like to be able to turn it off without turning off the "Crop" and "Adjustment" badges. Please allow users to select *which* badges are displayed in the filmstrip (and/or any other locations). Thank you!
Could explain HOW to convert a batch from RAW to JPEG?EDIT [branched to new topic by moderator]
The issue is with LRC 13.4, Photoshop 25.11.0, and Window 10 64bit. In Preferences/External Editing, I have no software showing up. Clicking on the window does nothing. I tried using the Additional External Editing window setting up Photoshop 2024 as the default, but LRC will let me access this from the Edit In menu. It only gives my and error message tellng me to select an External Editing Software. I have deleted the preferences 3-4 times. Tried to open an older catalog, same problem. Reinstalled Lightroom twice. Nothing works. In addition, Lightroom no longer opens from the Alias. I now go to the folder with the catalog and open the catalog from there, in order to access Lightroom. My workaround is to no longer use Edit In. Instead, I use the Export Window to get to Photoshop. I am so tired of LRC being totally unreliable. Version 12.5 was the last stable version on my machine.
Hi! I am using adobe lightroom classic and desnoise is not working with my raw images (see attached below). I am using Nikon z9 and z6ii, the files are NEF.file which is NIKONS version of raw. Someone please help! Do I need to troubleshoot. I have unistalled and reinstalled. idk what to do!!
Hi, I have LR Classic 13.4 running on my mac (running 14.6.1) I am trying to install a few ICC profile files from an online printing store.I have tried placing them in mutliple folders (macHD/library/colorsync/profiles) and in application support/adobe/color/profiles/recommended) reguardless of the location, when soft proofing in LR, when i choose 'other' i can not see the downloaded icc files/profiles - i can see others that are in the folders listed above though - the ones that came with the mac and LR.is there some setting i am missing to be able to view the ones i've downloaded?Or am i missing the proper folder location? thanks
Since latest LrC update I am having bad performance with sliders, mainly whe using masks. Just to be clear: till before the update I had no issues at all. My configuration (purchased 16 months ago):i7 13700 CPURAM 32GB DDR5 5200MhzM.2 PCIE 3.0 X4 NVME 1.4 SSD (for SW and catalog)4TB HD 7200rpm for picturesRTX 3050 VENTUS 2X 8GB OC GPU (not overclocked)2K MONITOR Attached below two screenshots of the photo I am editing (raw file from an EOS R 32mpx): one screenshot shows the entire photo, another the crop with only one mask applied. Nothing much or fancy I would say, yet look at the video here where you can see how the sliders (of the mask) stutter when moving them left/right: https://photos.app.goo.gl/bPBxiYGnXTjUFpgT6 By the way, this is the 3rd photo I edited today, had no problem with first two photos that had even more masks. I strongly believe that last update has introduced really bad code and probably memory leaks leading to performance issues.
Happy New Year all! Curious, anyone else running into an issue where Lightroom isn't using all the screen real estate on the new 14" M1Max MacBook Pro? It's super weird, I'll be in any other program and everythign is fine, but when I select Lightroom it shrinks the part of the screen it uses and the 'digital bezel' around it increases. Pic attached showing difference from desktop to Lightroom. I've tried all screen options from default to scaled. Think I checked all options in Lightroom. Anywho...figured I'd give it a shot here and see if anyone else had that cosmic weirdness and if so, how you fixed it.
Hello, I have been using Lightroom Classic since before the split, and have never run into any issues with Lights Out mode previously. But for the past three or so weeks, LR will not dim my screen. The window says I am in the correct mode and that the windows switch every time I hit "L," but no dimming occurs. When I restart LR, it works normally for the first couple of tries, but then, all of a sudden, it stops working again. Any advice? My workflow is crop + color/exposure correction in LR -> PS for final touches. 15-inch 2019 MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.5, LR Classic version 13.4.
Ich benutze zwar immer non LR fünf. Wie kann ich den Katalog an einen anderen Ort verschieben? KHW
Microsoft has this for many of their products. I had to call Adobe for help because there is no option to repair an installation in Lightroom Classic. Uninstalling and reinstalling just put it back the same way - with missing functions.
Beste, IK wil vandaag even met LRC werken. Groetjes Alex
I would like to be able to have different Crop versions of an image, e.g. different aspect ratios for different purposes (different social channels, wallpapers on different screens, different print sizes, etc). I can do this with Virtual Copies, but that creates a new separate copy of all edits that are disconnected from the original source. I would like to be able to create a limited version of a Virtual Copy where all edits except cropping are still live-linked to the original source file and the only variable that changes in the limited Virtual Copy is the Crop. i.e. I could change Exposure or White Balance or Masks, etc on the one original source file, and all the Crop-Copies would inherit those changes within their Cropped Aspect Ratios. In the current implementation of Virtual Copies, I would either need to go make those edits again on each copy (manually or sync), or delete the Virtual Copy and re-create and re-crop a new Virtual Copy to inherit the new edits. I would like to be
