Lightroom Classic

Hi all please help as I'm at a loss. everything was working fine until I upgraded to dxo pure raw 4. I used the Lightroom plug in to process 12 photos. All successfully completed. Then went back in Lightroom to view the photos to find them photos plus others stuck loading like in the picture. All greyed out. It's been like that for days not moving. please help. I have tried everything I can think of. I reinstalled Lightroom and plugins. Turned MacBook on and off. Updated everything. my next step is to start another catalog. thanks chris 

When will Adobe maintain the Collection Set structure when syncing to Lightroom Mobile?

Please help!I bought a new PC because I really need that Denoising in Lightroom Classic works fast, it took almost 10 minutes per picture in my last PC. The new one is quick but the picture turns purple while procesing the Denoise AI.What should I do?

My catalog is fairly large, I believe; total ~8200, and is separated into many folders by year. Within the "year" folders, there are nested "day" and or "event" folders. Many, but not all, thumbnail previews do not show when selecting folders, or in the filtered view. If I click and "rest" on a photo, after 4 to 20 seconds, then clicking away, the preview eventually shows. Of course with ~8200 photos, and I'm guessing several hunderds - maybe a few thousand - of them not showing a preview, the time consumed with the rest/click away technique is exhorbitant. And I'm not sure the thumbnails are persistent for future visits, as I've been struggling with this issue for months. I've tried many "answers" that I've found on the internet without anything really  solving the problem. Amongst other "fixes" I've done the select all>library>previews>build standard-sized previews several times, and other than adobe consuming high %'s of CPU for several minutes, I have not noticed

While in develop tab and setting a rating for each photo and adding to quick collection. Lightroom freezes when uising the right arrow key to move to next photo in folder. im getting edited symbol on all my pictures and it's getting difficult to recognise while exporting    [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. A ‘bug’ is not just another word for any problem with software!]

Starting awhile back, maybe 13.3 or 13.2, I started occasionally getting an exclamation mark (!) in the upper right hand corner on random thumbnails in grid view.  I have been using Lightroom since version 4 so for 12 years or so.  This problem never happened before, but now it happens fairly often.  I am talking about photos that were imported before (days, weeks, months, years ago).  It seems totally random.  When it happens usually the photos before and after it in grid view do not have the !.  And in every case there was no ! previously -- it just suddenly appears.     When I click on the ! I get this window:     Usually I select Import Settings from Disk.  Sometimes if I have already done a lot (keywords, star ratings, comment, etc.) then I select Overwrite Settings.   This is all very annoying and it happens to a few random photos every time I use LrC these days.   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moder

After importing the files from the card to the LR (CR2 format), the files in the library look blurry, and the files in develop are sharp. After going to develop and pressing "\" - before / after, the 'before' image goes blurry like in library. After exporting a photo to the disk to the jpg format (in the export window I do not select any changes, such as resolution, size change, etc.) the photo is still blurry like in library. When I open this jpg in photoshop, the photo is sharp like in develop in LR. When I choose 'edit in photoshop' in LR develop, photo is pretty sharp, but as I only save them to the disk (jpg or png) it's again blurry.I have tried many of settings in preview of preferences in library, i changed build previews from embedded to 1:1 or standard – nothing changes. Lightroom question. I import photos into Lightroom. I then crop and rotate them.  I am editing multiple photos at once with a mask using the brush over one area to lighten up the area by increasing the exposure. When I go back the mask has moved. What am I doing wrong?

Jetzt will ich erstmals in ARGB arbeiten, um hochwerte Ausdrucke mit größerem Farbraum bei saal anfertigen zu lassen. Als sekundären Monitor habe ich einen BENQ SW271-B, der ARGB voll unterstützt und der HW-kalibriert ist. Dazu habe zwei Fotos mit viel Grün und Blau bearbeitet und in SRGB sowie ARGB exportiert.Nur: Es gibt keinen Unterschied! Schaue ich diese Fotos im ARGB-Modus mit der Windows Fotoanzeige im Vergleich an, sind sie völlig identisch. Das gilt auch für heruntergeladene Testbilder, die unterschiedliche Farbräume umfassen (inkl. Pro-Foto).Komisch finde ich: Habe ich die SRGB-Variante meines Exports offen und schalte den Monitor von SRGB auf die ARGB-Kalibrierung um, wird dieses deutlich farbiger. I recently got an adobe photo license and I installed Photoshop and Lightroom on Windows and everything was fine. When I tried it on mac, I can't access the application menu.       I already reinstalled the creative cloud manager and also ran the cleaner tool.  The first 2 Screenshots are from the adobe account menu in the browser and the 3rd is from the creative cloud on my mac

I'm having issues with the tethered live mode and the tethered remote shutter on my new M3. I used to use an iMac 2017, and everything worked perfectly, with a very smooth live mode. I'm using a Nikon Z6II camera, and the same problem happens with the Z6I. I've tried using two different USB-C cables, but the issue persists. My Lightroom is updated, and the camera's firmware is up to date. I'm running on macOS 14.5 "Sonoma" with 36GB of memory and an Apple M3 Max chip.Thanks in advance for your help. 

Since updating to Lightroom classic 13.0, when I apply any AI masks to an edited photo, when synchronising across to Lightroom mobile/web, the image won't display, instead saying in LrM that "the image is awaiting settings from LrC". I have tested this with images that do not have AI masks applied and they display once synchronised perfectly in LrM with my LrC edits.This is unacceptable Adobe as I use LrM to show my clients my photos. I am having to resort to using a cloud based service to do this ATM.Adobe this is not an isolated issue and you need to fix this. Why have a functionality in LrC that the mobile and Web platforms cannot display. It defeats the purpose of the synchronised features.All synchronised photos in LrC 12.0 worked fine across all platforms.Am running the current and up to date LrC and mobile versions on Windows 10 with a quick machine.Is it a setting I'm missing in LrC?Please action personally or in the next update to LrM and Web platforms.

Hi, As my knowledge progresses working with Lightroom (Classic) I would like to verify my understanding of the default presets within Lightroom.As I like to filter on the 'Photo has Develop adjustments' tag I do want to change the noise reduction by default on all pictures. Obviously when changing the noise reduction, the 'Photo has Develop adjustments' tag will be stamped on all photos. So, I am experimenting with presets. Hello, I'm encountering this really annoying bug - every photo I click on in the Develop module gets the "Multiple settings" adjustment added automatically. And then the photo is marked as having adjustments, which really messes up my workflow - since, well, I haven't made any adjustments.  I used the DNG Profile Editor to create a manual profile. I importd the resulting DCP file into Lightroom Classic and confirmed it is now in the Profiles folder. However, it does not show in the Profiles list even after restarting LrC.. Also, it doen't show in the "Manage Profiles" list.

Desktop PC: Ryzen 7 5800X, RX 6750XT, 32GB memory, Windows 11 23H2.I experienced some lag while using LRC 13. The issue is particularly noticeable when adjusting the tone curve or any option in the masking feature. This delay and sluggishness significantly detract from my photo editing experience. However, what puzzles me is that everything works perfectly on my NVIDIA laptop. Adjusting the tone curve and using the mask are both very smooth.I have tried some common solutions, such as disabling GPU acceleration and clearing the cache, but none of them worked. When adjusting the tone curve, it feels like I'm playing a game at no more than 10 fps. I don't know how this issue originated, but it seems to be related to a set of presets I installed. The problem I described only started occurring after I installed those presets.Currently, I am baffled by the issues I'm experiencing with LRC 13. I would greatly appreciate any advice or assistance from the developers or community members. &

В программе LightRoom Classic при нажатии на любой эффект автоматически всплывает окно (фото прилагается), это окно вызывается кнопками Ctrl+Shift+C. Как отключить автоматическое появление этого окна? 

Has anyone had experience with the Canto plugin at all ? Wondering if you can tag pics in Lightroom and have the tags and metadata etc carry over when importing to Canto ?... thanks in advance ...
