I accidentally denoised a large number of photos in Lightroom Classic 15.3. Unfortunately Lightroom Classic stores the denoise data in the catalog blobs, so my catalog size on the disk skyrocketed.I unchecked denoise on the raw files and optimized the catalog, but it didn’t remove the denoise data from the catalog. How can I get rid of the denoise data to reduce the catalog size?Thanks-Lajos
When I use the AI feature in Lightroom Mobile, I select an area for it to revise, and it does its job by fixing that area. However, I wish I could modify the edited area after the AI has finished its work by using an erase or draw tool. For instance, in a rock garden edit, I might remove weeds or loose leaves, but the AI could select part of the model's foot in the process. While the rocks look perfect, the tip of her foot does not. If I like what the AI has generated and don’t want to lose that, I can’t fix the small flaw without losing the whole revision. I would like the ability to modify only the area I don’t want changed while keeping the parts I do like intact after AI generation.
We need batch auto straighten / auto level.. or some kind of sync option that doesn't just copy the same angle to all of the images. We can sync transform adjustments- why not auto level? And no- for my purposes- I do not want to use upright or level transforms. The warp the image. I just want to rotated the image by the 0.39 degrees or whatever without my subject matter being turned into parallelograms. Thanks in advance!
Woudl love to be able to select a previous mask when adding/removing. For example, I shoot a lot of lifestyle/product images on a Fjord in Alaska like the ones attached. I mask the beach, water, mountains and sky separately. When masking the mountains, it would be great so select background, subtract sky, then subtract pre-existent mask "Ground" and mask "Water" that I have already created. That would ensure a perfect boundary between the two and make the flow really quick.
A feature Lightroom desperately needs is scalable horizon alignment.Currently, the horizon straighten tool only rotates the image, forcing unnecessary crop loss. A much better workflow would be a “scale + straighten” adjustment, where Lightroom automatically scales the image slightly while correcting the horizon — similar to how video stabilization tools work. This would be extremely useful for wedding, event and fast-paced photography where framing consistency matters across large batches of images.Suggested improvements: Horizon straighten with automatic scale compensation Batch horizon matching between selected photos Reference-based alignment (using a previous image as reference) AI-assisted consistent framing for sequences This would save photographers a huge amount of time and preserve composition quality.
My Lightroom classic catalogue file has completely disappeared, file cannot be found, and all of the backups I have (on various devices) are not working. They are saying that the file is not writable and cannot be opened. Lightroom is working as I opened an old catalogue to test. It is this specific catalogue, and every single backup of it that I have that isnt there/wont open. This catalogue opened fine quite literally twenty minutes ago. I was getting a lot of lag while waiting for a mask to load (this is normal, my computer is slow), so I closed lightroom. When I went back into the folder to open the file, it was not there, and all of the backups weren’t working.I have: restarted my computer, scanned my drive for corruption, logged in/out of creative cloud.Images below show what is happening perhaps better than I can explain. Is it just better to create a new catalogue and import everything again? I have most RAW files still.
I do get massive artefacts (blue areas of rectangular shapes) when developing or exporting large DNGs with complex image processing (i.e. various AI functions applied) on my Apple M2 and Apple M4 Max machines (tested on both laptop and latest MacStudio M4). They disappear when turning of the graphics processor in Lightroom presets.Apple M4 Max, 64 GB Ram, macOS Tahoe 26.5Apple M2, 24 GB Ram, macOS Tahoe 26.5Blue artefacts show both in Library and Develop views, but with different shapes. In develop modules, they sometimes disappear after a minute (some internal refresh?), but unfortunately not all of them. The concerned images do have smart previews and are using virtual copies. They are based on compressed DNGs generated with DXOPureRaw v6 (from Nikon Z8 full resolution NEFs).I am running Excire Search 2026 v5 (latest) as a plugin in Lightroom.Unfortunately the blue areas are also showing in the exported files for printing. Please help as I am stuck now in my workflow...
My photo printed 11x13 with a white bar across bottom of photo. I need an exactly 11x14 printed to fit a frame. How can I do this to set it up in Lightroom?
I updated to LRC 15.0 and whenever i click on the import button the cull pop up window appears, but i cannot get it to close so therefore i cannot import any photos, anyone offer any help please? see photo below
On my PC, getting a message ‘Lightroom Opening Catalogue UAIJ8002.JPG’ . Lightroom Classic won’t open. I downloaded pictures from my i phone to Lightroom classic, but the one referred to in the JPG above didn’t fully download. Whilst trying to resolve this, the problem arose. I have tried to delete the JPG, but get a message that this can’t be done as it is open in Lightroom, despite Lightroom not being open on my PC. Any ideas how to resolve?
I love to mask and sharpen or darken lashes as well as other areas of the image and I often have a hard time doing this by hand on every image with a brush in LRC and often resort to photoshop.
AI Denoise checkbox immediately unticks until full system restart. Description In Lightroom Classic,AI Denoise cannot be enabled on eligible RAW files. When the Denoise checkbox is ticked, it immediately unticks with no error message.Restarting Lightroom alone does not always resolve the issue; a full system restart is required. After restart, AI Denoise works normally again. Steps to reproduce Use Lightroom Classic for an extended session (file moves, preview building, culling). Select a supported RAW (.ARW) file. Open AI Denoise. Tick “Denoise” → checkbox immediately unticks. Expected result Denoise remains enabled and Enhance proceeds. Actual result Checkbox immediately unticks with no feedback. Workaround Full system restart.lightroom clasic 15.0

Dear Lightroom colleagues,Please excuse my English; I'm from Brazil and speak Portuguese, and I'm using Google Translate to try and write better.I'm reporting some curious problems below and would like to know if you've observed anything similar. If you've had the same problem, please let me know if there's a solution. Let's see:I have two houses in different cities. I divide my time between the two.In one of them, I use a 2019 Macbook Pro with 16GB of RAM, a Core i9 processor, and a 16" screen.I've had several performance issues with Lightroom on this machine, but everything is better after tips and information posted here on this forum. Let's call this house HOUSE 1. In the other house, I have a Mac Mini M2 with 32GB of RAM, a fabulous machine with no performance problems. Iuse a 27" Dell IPS monitor.Let's call this house HOUSE 2. In both houses, the Adobe versions are the same; after all, I pay for the subscription and the applications are always up-to-date. Recently I was in HOUSE 1

Connect the camera directly to the iMac -> import > all images that have not yet been imported are offered for import. Images that were imp
I am using a plugin called Focus Points that show the focus point of the camera in a image. https://github.com/musselwhizzle/Focus-Points It shows the focus points for my 5D Mark III after converting the CR3 raw file to DNG, However, when inporting and converting my R5 CR3 files to DNG, it appears that the process removes the entire Canon maker notes section, including all focus information. IMHO this is a bug in Adobe DNG converter and it needs to be checked if this applies to the entire R-Series or just specific models. Why is adobe doing this and how do you STOP it?? Here are 2 sample images taken this past weekend. one CR3 and the same file after converting to DNG.https://photos.wfpics.org/Test-Images/Focus-Point-Test/n-NMg4gQ Thank you..
How/can you use an external hard drive for your catalog and go from PC to MAC importing on both and not corrupt your catalog? I’ve been having problems since PC is letter drives (C, F, G ...) and MAC uses volume names (/Volumes/drivename/)
When importing RAW files from my Canon R6 mkiii, Lightroom automatically applies “Remove chromatic aberration” and “Enable profile corrections”.This is all very good, as I do normally tick these settings. However, this has become a problem when using my Sigma 12-24mm lens as I’m not able to adjust the amount of distortion I need.I previously shot with a Canon 5d mkiv, and Lightroom would not automatically apply these settings. I would then tick the boxes to apply the settings, and had adjusted the default for the lens to also apply a specific amount of distortion. I was very happy with this.I now find that the photos with said lens have too much distortion, and I can't correct it properly. In camera, I have all the “Lens aberration correction” settings disabled. Anyone know how to prevent Lightroom from automatically applying “Remove chromatic aberration” and “Enable profile corrections” to imported photos?
So if I select 10-20-50-100 images, doesn’t matter, and I apply AI denoise to all of them, Lightroom Classic starts doing the AI denoise in the background. I can go to the develop module, start editing any other images, I can even use the previous button, etc. BUT the moment I copy settings from one image to another, the AI denoise in the background stops and it stays in that stuck position. I can’t edit any of those images until I restart Lightroom Classic. When I hit the copy settings button(on the keyboard), it finishes the denoising on the current image that it has been doing, but it does not continue on the next photo. Everything just stops.Maxed out 16” M1 Max MacBook Pro 64gb Ram.Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.7Lightroom Classic 15.3
How to turn off display of milliseconds (capture time). Milliseconds are useless to me, but they clutter the grid view and make it impossible to quickly review capture time for long burst of bird photos when trying to determine when a burst ends and a new beginning. Just want to turn off the milliseconds and keep the seconds (as in the previous version)
I booted up Lightroom Classic (for Mac) today, and my Folders panel is empty across all catalogs. The files/folder structure is intact, and I can Reveal the file and show that LR can locate it in Finder. However, I am completely unable to navigate between folders because of this!LR also said the location of my catalog backups is invalid, but it showed the correct folder ("The previously selected backup folder is not available. Catalog folder will be used for backup. Location: /Users/xxxx/Downloads/test/Backup"). This is weird, because that is not the catalog's location at all, and that folder no longer even exists.LR Classic for Mac v15.3Already tried: Adding the parent folder again: This did nothing, indicating that LR knows that the folder was already added. Restarting LR. Opening other catalogs. Checking for updates. Searching LR Forum and Reddit. Has this happened to anyone else?
