I have been working with presets for years and just recently within the last week or so I updated my LrC to the latest version. Once I did that I did not work on any images so I felt like everything was fine. Although once I came back from a sesssion I uploaded the images and started adding some presets I noticed the color was different from preset once i copied and paste it and what was even more frustraiting was when I used some of my favorite BW presets. they were not being shown as BW they were muted colored images, then when I applied a preset I noticed the Profile it should have shifted too, was missing. Yes, images are RAW, and I have tried adding them via little icon on the Profile Browser. It says the proflies have been uploaded already. I have removed the index.dat that another forum recommeneded and still nothing. In my previous versions even in an older computer I still use, teh profile browser does show a "profiles" folder in the list of Profiles available.
Hi All! I've been shooting with Canon cameras and using Lightroom for years (although not very technically inclined). Last year I bought a Canon R6 MII and began using the founder's profile in Aftershoot for AI post processing. On my previous two low-light (indoor/winter) shoots while using the R6 at around 2500-5000 ISO, the photos seem very, very grainy and full of noise in Lightroom. I looked at both the Aftershoot versions (really bad grain and noise) and a direct import into Lightroom (not as bad, but still bad enough) and I'm really surprised I'm not getting better results from my R6 in low light. I spoke with Canon Pro Services because I need to send the R6 in for repair and they said to try to import into Canon's Digital Photo Pro software to compare the noise and grain. I did and indeed, there is WAY less grain and noise. He suggested maybe I upgrade my Lightroom (I'm on the subscription plan), but my computer may not do well with a system upgrade - needed if I
Lightroom Classic ver 15.1Windows 11I noticed this first a few days ago. When I try to view an album online, I get the message "This album is empty". I create quite a few Collections in Lightroom Classic and then use the Make Public button to create a url that can be viewed online. The url's still exist and show in my Collections, sync is on but I can't view anything online. Even if I create a new collection and Make Public, the newly created url gives me the same message.

LrC issue Using LrC and a Mac Book Pro. I moved a year’s worth of pictures to an external SSD drive to make room on my MAC and spent the better part of yesterday editing my favorites to print. I was able to export the images at low res for screen / social media purposes but when I went to export those same pics to high quality (300 dpi) images, I noticed the exclamation mark on many of them and received the message "The metadata for this photo has been changed by both Lightroom and another application. Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite those from the catalog?” I need to pick either "Overwrite Setting" or "Import Settings from Disk". I tried to call Adobe Customer Support but when I finally get to the prompt to get to a person with LrC experience it tell sme a person will be with me and then it disconnects. One other relevant point is that I also updated my Mac OS to Tahoe 26.2 yesterday. Perhaps the Mac update created
Was having this issue so tried updgrading but hasn't solved it. I have 3 photos that were in DNG format that I exported to JPG, deleted the DNG and went to import them back into the Catalogue. They will not import as Lightroom still has records of the 3 of them being in the database and therefore blocks my import. They appear shadowed out in the import window as already existing. My Screen Shot of the window will not load to this enquiry - just says unable to complete the action you requested? I have searched both the hard drives that my catalogue spans and other than the JPG files waiting to be imported they do not exist elsewhere. How do I remove the records of there 3 files that don't show in the Catalogue so I can import the JPG copies?
Hi all, I found the discussion about using the plugin with Hassy RAW - but my case is more prosaic. The plugin was working fine until 3 days ago or so. In the meantime, I had updated Lightroom Classic.In trying to troubleshoot it, I reinstalled exiftool (now v. 13.45). No dice. LensTagger fails with Error: 32512 - Failed to run the command.I attach the LensTagger 1.9.2 dialog - I wonder if the exiftool location is correct?Also attaching the log below.Thanks for any help!! =============== objc[10917]: Class SODSFileDecode is implemented in both /Applications/Adobe Lightroom Classic/Adobe Lightroom Classic.app/Contents/Frameworks/WichitaFoundation.agtoolkit/Versions/A/WichitaFoundation (0x10618d510) and /Applications/Adobe Lightroom Classic/Adobe Lightroom Classic.app/Contents/Frameworks/CameraRaw.lrtoolkit/Versions/A/CameraRaw (0x134cc0018). I had a repair on my desktop and have not been able to successfully install Lightroom Classic with my most recent Catalogue. I've uninstalled and reinstalled without success. I have a catalogue that was saved on 12/30/2025, but can't get Lightroom to import it. This is the message I get: Lightroom cannot create a catalog named "Lightroom Catalog-v13-13" on volume "This PC" because Lightroom cannot save changes to this location.Lightroom Catalogs can not be opened in network volumes, removable storage or read only volumes. The catalogue is on my C drive, which is not any of those things. Thanks for any guidance. Bill Black

I am using the latest lightroom version, the photo has alot of noise, and i click the button to denoise. There there is no change to the photo
Hello, I am experiencing a serious issue with tethered shooting in Lightroom Classic. I am using a Leica M11-P, connected via USB-C (10 Gbps) to a MacBook Pro.Tethering works perfectly in Lightroom Classic with my Sony A7S III, but does not work at all with the Leica, despite following all troubleshooting steps recommended by Adobe. To be very clear: The camera is fully recognized by the system USB cable and ports are not the issue Lrc crash after deconecting the USB-C cable Message on my Leica : Active connection sharing. but not connected Tethering works flawlessly with Capture One, both on macOS and on iPad This clearly indicates a Lightroom / Adobe compatibility or support limitation, not a hardware problem. At this point, I would like a clear and official answer from Adobe: Is the Leica M11 / M11-P officially supported for tethering in Lightroom Classic? If not, is this planned, and on what timeline? If yes, what concrete solution does Adobe propose? Tethered shooting is

Hi everyone, I’ve been using Lightroom Classic daily for about 6 months with no issues, but it suddenly broke after a normal import from an external hard drive. The import didn’t complete, I closed my Mac, and since then Lightroom has been unusable.Current behavior:Lightroom Classic opens, but:freezes/spins when I click Import, orhangs during startup (catalog / plugin loading)When I have ligthroom open the activity monitor says (Not responding) Sometimes it opens, but any mouse click causes the beachball.What I’ve tried: Reinstalled Lightroom Classic twiceDeleted catalogs, backups, plugins, and cacheCreated brand-new catalogsReset preferencesDisabled GPU accelerationGave Lightroom Full Disk AccessRestarted multiple timesTested with no external drives and with a single JPEG from the internal driveStill no change.System:Macbook pro 14 macOS Tahoe 26.2Lightroom Classic 15.1.1Has anyone seen this or know a fix?Thanks.
Is it safe to update now to LrC 15.1? Ive been avoiding it since 14.1 because all I hear about on here are problems. Im running Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1 on a Macbook Pro M1. My Generative AI Removal has been playing up, running error messages when trying to delete objects, so I wonder whether its time to bite the bullet and hit the update. However, I'd hate to be disappointed with a slower app or some other problem people have been having trouble with.
LR says catalog cant be found. The catalog at location (/Volumes/One Touch/ ANW PHOTO FILE SEAGATE MINI/ANW PHOTO FILE/2013-03-27 1924/Lightroom 2 Catalog-2-4-v13-3.lrcat) could not be found. Would you like to locate an existing catalog or use the default one? Searched in catalog folder and nearest to it is Lightroom 2 Catalog-2-4-v13.Ircat October 25 2024 But this is dated 2024 and I updated folders and photos in LR several times last year so I dont want to use an old catalog. How can I find old catalog or what are my options. Many thanks for any help and guidance. Alistair {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator}
I’m experiencing a persistent GPU‑related UI rendering issue in Lightroom Classic that affects all catalogs and survives preference resets, cache clears, and full system restarts. The problem appears isolated to Lightroom’s GPU acceleration path rather than Windows or my hardware. I’ve included a concise summary of symptoms and all troubleshooting steps already completed so the issue can be escalated beyond basic support. Lightroom Version:Lightroom Classic 15.1.1GPU:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (driver 32.0.15.6094, 11.5 GB VRAM)Operating System:Windows 11, dual‑monitor setup (primary 4K display + secondary 1920×1200) Issue SummaryLightroom Classic’s Develop module has persistent UI rendering failures across all catalogs. Symptoms include:• Missing hover icons (crop, mask, etc.)• Missing disclosure triangles throughout the UI• White halo/shadow around slider numbers• Develop preview shrinks into the upper‑left corner when GPU acceleration is enabled• Develop preview returns to normal when
Before approximately November 11 2025, when I plugged in my iPhone (currently usuing iPhone 17 Pro on iOS 26.2), all the photos and videos in the Photos app would show in the Import window of LrC (v 15.1). Since that time, and continuing to this day, only a small handful of photos show in the Import window. The rest don't show up so I cannot import them directly from my iPhone, which is a huge pain. I have 224 photos and videos (mostly photos) in my Photos app that are properly syncing between the phone and desktop and online cloud (can see them in all location). But, as noted above, only about 2 dozen that are seemingly random. For instance, some from close to November 11, some as recent as yesterday, most days if a photo or two are showing in the Import window, other photos from the same day and timeframe are not showing up. Is there a permissions or other issue that was introduced with an update to iOS or LrC around the timeframe I'm mentioning of early November 2025? How
LRC 15.1.1Mac Tahoe 26.2I did a shoot for a customer with my Fuji GFX100s. Out of 42 photos, only 21 export. I can't seem to figure out the issue. I have the photos on a T9 and keep it plugged in the whole time while editing. I'm getting desperate as my deadline is coming up. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. I tried attaching screenshots but that wasnt working on this page. Thanks
Hello,I am using Lightroom Classic and recently starting having this error message below when trying to move some images to a different folder. My folder structure is like this below, and the last time I tried to move some images from 2026 folder to 2025 folder. Then I got the error message.I'm no PC expert but could someone guide me to a solution? Looking forward to some advice.
Write metadata (LR Classic Version 15.1.1) to more than one picture failed. It will be only written to the first picture, but not to the other selected. Previously, you could select multiple images in the library and set the metadata for several images at once.
