I am writing to express my appreciation for Adobe Lightroom, which remains one of the most reliable and innovative tools for photo editing. The app’s design, efficiency, and continuous improvement have made it an essential platform for creators of all levels.I would like to share a suggestion that could further enhance the user experience. Currently, advanced features such as Masking, Background Removal, and Actions are available only to premium users. It would be highly beneficial if free users could access these features on a limited daily basis (for example, 5 or 6 edits per day).Allowing limited daily use would help users build a stronger connection with Lightroom and encourage long-term engagement, instead of feeling distanced from the app due to unavailable features. Over time, this familiarity could also motivate more users to upgrade to premium.Additionally, I suggest maintaining a dedicated feature preview page within the app—where users can view, understand, and test the resu

I work with 1000's of pictures at a time. I process images in bulk, as many are under similar lighting conditions. When I copy the edit settings from 1 pic and paste them throughout a batch, I have to wait for the process to complete before I can start my next pasting job. Could you build a feature that stores "copy/paste" settings in, say, five or more 'slots' of 'copy/paste memory' so I can run several batch pasting processes in async mode? I see that "Export" and "Paste" operations can run in parallel. Multiple export sessions can also run in parallel. Something similar for "Paste" would be nice.
Lightroom offers advanced AI-driven features like auto-editing, culling, and stacking. My aim is to use Lightroom as my sole program for reviewing and editing local photos, eliminating the need for both Adobe Bridge and Lightroom. Here are the Lightroom features I need to fully switch from Adobe Bridge: Allow adjustment of the Info Panel (I) width, similar to how we can resize the Photos Panel (P). Make it possible to display the filmstrip across the entire bottom of Lightroom while keeping both the Info Panel and the Photos Panel open, mirroring the modular panel functionality in Adobe Bridge. Improve the display of long filenames when viewing local files in Zoom mode (spacebar), possibly by showing the full name underneath the photo. Support importing local folder structures (and their photos) into Albums. Enable exporting the Cloud Albums folder structure (and photos) locally without relying on the destructive Archive Folder Locally feature. Provide "Stacks" functionality fo
How do I display file names in grid display for the cloud based Lightroom CC on my desktop? I see how to do this on the mobile version, but I'm not having any luck on the desktop one. ThanksSteve
I would propose to either change or remove the presentation option in LR mobile. I presume it is meant to show pictures as a kind of slideshow or comparable to a photoframe but showing pictures at a rate of 60 pictures a minute does have an unhealthy impact on the human brain. If you look at pictures changing every second you will get overstimulated, and it may cause headaches and sleeping problems. That has been proven in psychological studies. Please make this option 'presentation' presentable in a way photos can be enjoyed again
Hey. I see and use Quick Actions on my Android but do not see it in LR on my iPad Pro. I gather it is not available yet. Does anyone have any inside gos as to when that could happen. It's make or break for me. Thanks Andy
Using Lr cc, and I would like to add GPS coordinates to multiple images. I'm copying the coords from Google maps but can only paste it into the GPS field one image at a time. Is there a way of adding it to multiple photos taken at the same location?
Now that Adobe is committing to LR Mobile, it would be great if LR had better support for comments and likes:- Ability to filter and search in smart collections for comments and likes. The Sort: Last Comment Time is helpful but not sufficient -- it only works with collections synced with LR Cloud, and you can only sort one collection at time (huh??).- The same support for other publish services like Flickr that also sync user comments. Why did Adobe implement Last Comment Time and comment notifications just for LR Mobile? The underlying structure is already there to implement it for the other services as well. These other services have a diversity of features that many users find valuable and that are unlikely to ever appear in LR Mobile, so asking them to switch to LR Mobile just to get the trivial ability to sort by comment time is frustrating.- SDK access to the comments and likes, so that plugins can manipulate that metadata just like they have the ability to manipulate other metad
It would be helpful if when identifying a person in Lightroom, it would be able to be recognize various parts of the body more specifically insted of assuming the human is not a person once they are wearinng wings, or other items of clothing. I am in fashion and lengerie and wings make it diffuicult for ai to adjust. and masking doesn;t always identify a person when they are wearing wings or other unique items of clothing. OrahsPlayHouse
Buongiorno a tutti, non riesco a collegare in tethering la Leica SL3S al Mac con Lightroom Classic aggiornato all'ultima versione. qualcuno c'è riuscito? grazie
I'd love to see some sort of intelligent auto stacking in Lightroom CC.
It would be incredibly useful to have the auto stacking by capture time ported over from Lightroom Classic into the cloud version, at least on desktop. Many people still shoot in JPEG+RAW, and this relatively simple organisational tool can be a great help. Even better would be the ability to choose a max capture time delta to stack by, since that would also help organise burst shots.
Hey Adobe Team, It’d be amazing to have the option to change folder icon colors in Lightroom Mobile! Right now, every folder looks the same grey, and when you’ve got a ton of projects, it’s easy to lose track. Being able to assign colors (even just a few presets) would make organizing and finding folders way faster and more intuitive. It’s a small tweak that could make a huge difference for anyone managing multiple shoots or collections. I would love to see this added in a future update! Thanks! 😊
I would like to be able to share a whole Catalog/Library of Albums with another Lightroom CC user, that also allows them to upload/edit/share (dependant on restrictions). At the same time I would like other sets of Albums in another Catalog/Library from being included. This was a great feature in Adobe Revel and would like to see, at least similar, in Lightroom Cloud (although can understand it may not sync well with Classic... but what does?!)
Using the iPad when traveling or on smaller projects for editing and reviewing is a great thing, but we need the option to get the edited images to a desktop without cloud sync. Slow WiFi in some countries, limited mobile data, and simply too many images make sync via cloud a real pain. Being able to export an album as a catalog to an SSD on an iPad Pro would be a great help for this. Even being able to export Originals with Edit, as the desktop version of Lightroom allows (non-Classic), would be great. Because Originals Export to an SSD already works, but losing all edits makes this workflow useless. It is slowly getting there, with direct SD import already working. But the full offline, non-cloud workflow for professionals with the iPad should be considered further. Also, when using the iPad with a keyboard, the use of shortcuts, selection, and interaction is still very inconsistent. The filter options are limited too; a great add-on woul
This option never 'takes' or 'stays' for the next import and I don't see anything related in preferences. I think I can only ask if there is a way or if there will be a way in the future. Now, with the new mirrorless cameras and hefty megapixels and large file sizes, the CF cards are a boon to handling these images for capture and then to upload to Lightroom folders. Would love to not have to remember to 'include sub-folders' as nothing will show from the inserted card until that box is found and checked when importing into Lightroom...
My wife and I do a lot of event photography and need to categorize photos in albums for social media and client use. Since you added the Alt Text and Extended Descripiton fields, the area where the albums are shown is almost always off the page for me, especially if the photo has a location. A photo's location is often useful but it's decidedly not for those of us who work a single venue over a weekend. So please make the location area collapsible (with persistence), which will allow the albums and sync information to be seen. It would also be nice to have the extended description fields collapsible so they could be left collapsed if not used.
Lightroom CC - Renaming in bulk. This is another important feature from Lightroom which appears not to have made it (yet) to Lightroom CC.Everyone has there own renaming strategy (don't they?). Once I have applied keywords and corrected location details, I bulk rename to include date, location and primary keyword in the file title. OK - that may be overkill, but does help people I am selling images to.Bulk renaming - for whatever reason and using whatever system - is an important tool for DAM and support for it in Lightroom CC would be appreciated.
I hope Lightroom Mobile adds a feature where a user can search for a specific camera model or lens model on Community Tab to find all the photos from other people. For example, I have a Nikon D7200 and I'm starting my photography journey. I want to see the works and photos of other people on Lightroom Community Tab who also use D7200, from that way I'll get inspired and learn more about the gear I have. And also I'll learn some Lightroom editing ideas from them since we have the same camera or lens.
Idea for Lightroom Mobile/Cloud: 1) PERSON MASK In the desktop version of Lightroom Cloud, you have a “person” mask where you can select hair, face, eyes, etc. Is it possible to have this in the iPad application as well? 2/3) ACCESS DRIVE/BACKUP DRIVE In the desktop version, you can choose between cloud and local storage. You also have the option to make a backup on a drive. Would it be possible to have this in the iPad app as well?
Adjustment panel uses dark gray letters on a dark backgound. it is very hard to read on my Apple Thunderbolt (2K) display. please use white color for all settings names. Plase offer settings which allsw to mage letters bigger.
One feature I used regularly (in the past) on desktop was a mask with a blur effect. Why doesn't the paid* mobile version have a blur option for the mask feature? (Note, I do not have access to a desktop and use exclusively on phone)
