Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Є побажання щоб була наступна функція - коли завантажуешь з фотоапарату фото (превью jpeg) в мобільний пристрій і відбувся відбір фото, то була б така синхронізація з настольним персональним компьютером при яком було б запропонованно програмою завантажити тільки відібрани ARW файли а не всі !!! ЦЕ ДУЖЕ СКОРОТИЛО Б ДО ОЧІКУВАННЯ ОТРМАННЯ  КІНЦЕВОГОРЕЗУЛЬТА

With the advanced possibilities of generative AI it would be awesome and relatively easily to have a tool/feature in Lightroom that automatically generates and fills in the blown-out parts of the highlights and/or lowlights in a picture. Blown out skies and textures in dark areas could be generated quite easily. Thus having fewer "failed" photos when exposure was set incorrectly. 

I am requesting an import filter in lightroom mobile in order to see which fotos have NOT been imported from my mobile device into lightroom. Currently I see all pictures including the ones which have been imported already 

I regularly share Lightroom Mobile albums using the “Copy Link” option, then paste those links into Apple Mail or Messages. Until recently, these links generated a rich preview card with the album’s thumbnail image. This was extremely useful for recipients — it provided a visual cue, improved engagement, and made the link more attractive. As of sometime after April 30, 2024, this behavior changed. Now the same type of Lightroom share link (adobe.ly/...) only generates a generic Adobe Photoshop Lightroom card with a blue background and "Lr" logo, no album image. Steps to reproduce:1. Share an album from Lightroom Mobile.2. Copy the share link (adobe.ly/...).3. Paste into Apple Mail or Messages on iPad, iPhone, or Mac.4. Observe the generic card instead of a rich preview with thumbnail. I am a professional wedding photographer and I use Lightroom on my tablet primarily for culling large numbers of images. While I truly appreciate the convenience of Lightroom Mobile/Tablet, I’ve noticed two aspects that significantly slow down my workflow compared to Lightroom on desktop:   Lack of “Auto Next” feature – On Lightroom for desktop, after assigning a flag, star rating, or color label, the software automatically advances to the next image. This greatly speeds up culling. On the tablet version, I need to manually swipe or tap for every image, which is less efficient. Transition animation between images – When moving to the next or previous photo on the tablet, there is a smooth transition effect. While visually pleasant, it delays the instant image change that’s crucial during high-volume culling.     Would it be possible to add the “Auto Next” option and/or an option to disable transition animations in Lightroom Mobile or Tablet? Is there likely to be support for point color on the Lightroom for iPad app any time soon? It's become an integral part of my editing workflow and I was really disappointed to discover it's not available on the iPad app.   If anybody has workarounds, I'd love to hear about them. 

In Lightroom Desktop and in Lightroom Desktop there are 4 location fields: - Sublocation - City - State - Country/Region In Lightroom mobile in iOS version 8.4 (iPad and iPhone) the field Sublocation is missing. According to several help files this field should be there. I hope this field can be added in the next update. Thanks in advance, Peter Vrijlandt

Bonjour ! Ayant acheté un iPad très récemment pour la retouche photo, je trouve mon expérience sur Lightroom cloud vraiment ergonomique mais une chose me chagrine : il est impossible de revenir en arrière après avoir collé des paramètres sur un groupe d'images. C'est malheureux car c'est toute la praticité de l'application à la base. De plus, comparé au Mac, le collage est particulièrement long et accapare toute l'application. Si on veut retirer il faut se pencher sur les images une par une... je me demandais si ce problème était pris en compte et allait être réglé ? Merci beaucoup. 

A common workflow with DLSRs is to copy all photos from the camera to disk/NAS etc. and then add them to a particular Lightroom Cloud Album.This is possible using the "Add Photo to Album" dialog which gives the option to pick to which Album you want it added to.   But... why is the option to "Add Photo to Target Album" missing when adding from Local file storage? this convienient option is there when working on photos already in Cloud....    

Hello, Currently, Lightroom Cloud (Desktop/Mobile/Web) does not allow exporting face recognition data — i.e. the names of identified people — in the metadata of exported files. This issue has been raised in this discussion: Exporting face tag metadata   This is a much-needed feature for many users, for several reasons: Personal or professional archiving with preserved face recognition info. Sharing photos outside Lightroom while keeping a record of who is in them. Interoperability with other tools that can read XMP metadata, such as Lightroom Classic or third-party photo managers. I would like to suggest that Adobe adds an option (as available in Lightroom Classic) to include face tag metadata (people names) in the exported file metadata.

"Hello, I have a request for Lightroom Mobile. I lack precision when editing the tone curve due to the small screen. Could you consider adding the option to manually enter numerical values for the curve points? It would greatly improve the workflow and provide more control, similar to the desktop version. Thank you for your hard work.

In Lightroom Classic we can press "Y" to view the original next to the edited one. I know I can press "\" to view the original but it only switches back and forth.It would be nice to have the ability like you can in classic to view the original side by side. Scenarios exist where you are unsure whether a specific edit improves the overall image or not, and more often I like to show my editing work to others and it's much easier to take a screenshot of the original next to the edited to send it off for either validation or feedback.

I have two ideas for the Camera: 1. as an architect i always edit my picture with the upright tool. I would find it very useful, when there would be optional live upright correction while taking pictures  2. I have a shortcut for the lightroom camera at the lockscreen (iPhone) would be great if I would be possible to open the camera without having to unlock the phone first 

If I enter a term into the search field, I'd love to have the results include any matches with my photos' "Alt Text". 

I'm using light room on Android.  <deleted> And if I saved as a copy, the Exif Metadata not maintain the original creation date...       So to give my example. I want to edit a photo, apply some filters and effects, after I don't want to keep the original.  And if I tried to post it Facebook or Instagram from the apps the new photos (edited) keeps on top... losing the original chronology... and this is really bothering.       Hope soon apply some feature to allow this... maybe is not expected on all cases, but add an option to "save and replace original"       Regards

I hope that Adobe could add a function to the slideshow in Lightroom, namely to sort the slideshow in a random way. Right now you have to sort the slideshow by creation date or change date or similar. Regards  Kenneth 

  Hi Team,   I’m Saurabh Shukla from India  a software engineer by profession and a travel content creator by passion.   I love using Lightroom Mobile, especially for color grading on the go. However, I’ve noticed that videos with camera movement (like pans or tracking shots) become jittery after export, even though the original footage is smooth. Static clips don’t have this issue.   It seems like the export process struggles with motion-based footage.   Suggestions:   Add motion optimization (e.g. frame blending or smoothing). Provide export settings (Resolution, FPS, Bitrate) to give users more control.     Would really appreciate if there’s a fix or if improvements are planned. Please consider adding histogram for Lightroom Mobile that appears on screen when shooting photos with camera.

Adobe needs to include IPTC information in the file INFO in Lr CC. This is the industry standard for file information and a requirement of most photo agencies, so why isn't it in CC? Cloud storage is great but without IPTC it's not of much use to those submitting to an agency.

Missing Feature of green overlay within pro mode and manually focussing in Lightroom mobile app for android users. Does this feature exists? If not will you develop it?

I’ve been testing out Lightroom CC for a bit. I am considering a switch from Apple Photos. Is there a reason you cannot support Live Photo’s? Google Photos does on apple device, so I know its not a totally closed down format. Even if you could only view them on apple devices it would still be nice. Sometimes the Live Photo feature captures really special moments. I’m not sure I could give them up.
