Hello, when will the new Lightroom feature the Book module from Lightroom Classic? This feature is essential! Thanks Craig
I'm trying to understand what's the logic behind the storage management.I uploaded 20GB of photos barely 12h ago.Now that I wanted to edit them, I'm in shock finding that must of them are not on my device anymore... and I now have to wait an eternity to download them back again from the Cloud. The vast majority of photos do not even have a Smart Preview kept, just the thumbnail. The iPad has more than 350GB left, more than enough to not warrant going into this extreme mode. How does that make any sense, to remove every pictures barely a few hours after being on the device???
Title. It will not allow me to install it at all, but I can promise you I have the proper hardware/software.Im running a 4060ti graphics card as well.
When I display or share my LR albums with my family, I need to be able to have my "Keywords" visible for them to see. I've done a lot of searching and I can't find a solution. Can this be done?
I'm curious to know if it's possible to export an image or image work file in Lightroom CC so that I have the image, along with the multiple "versions" I created of the image in Lightroom CC? I'm sort of thinking how in Photoshop you can export the final image but you can also save a "working file" which contains all the layers of the image. My main goal is to clear up some space on my Lightroom CC Cloud but I don't want to lose my image versions/edits and would like to save the image and the versions on my external drive. I'm working off a Mac with M1 processor. Also side question. Any recommendations on how I can make better use of cloud space? I'm assuming this is a sub-topic related to file organization?
I have a large drive with many pics at different levels in the directories. Local files option in lightroom appears to only search to a certain depth then gives up and returns data that is useless. This happens even when I search for the file by the complete name. Seems like a simple mistake with huge implications for those of us who actually want to use the local files option! I've made copies of the file I want to work on from the root drive to the actual location and tried to open them. I cannot open them from any level of the directory. Maybe there is something wrong with the file name: IMG01668-IMG01698_enblended wide 3.jpg Actually this happens quite freqently enough so that lightroom is useless to me when it does and I'm about to return the product suite to adobe.
I recently tried to import photos from a camera sd card with roughly 2k raw files (no jpg) and found that lightroom for iPad failed to even load the previews on the import screen. Instead it displayed a loading spinner indenfinitely (waited >20 mins). I tried the same setup on my iPhone and it worked, instantly showing the previews and allowing me to select items. equiptment:iPad air M2iPhone 15 proSandisk extreme pro 128gb sd (Nikon Z5 format)Ugeeen usb c card reader (usb 3.0)

Hi, After migrating my MacBook Pro to a new MacBook Pro, my Lightroom won't sync/download my photos to the Lightroom app (on that new MacBook). I can see all of them when I login online, so they're still there in the cloud, but somehow Lightroom can't connect to the cloud/server. I get this message in the settings: All software is up to date (according to Creative Cloud) and of course my internet connection works perfectly. Anyone had this issue before or knows what I can do to solve this? Thank you!Patrick
Since the last upgrade a few days ago, many of my photos from Macbook Pro won't upload , it says file not supported or file is corrupted. that is not possible, all photos were taken on the same day, but some, maybe 50% of those in a folder won't upload, no matter what I do. I need to edit all my photos, not just some of them, and I have deadlines. Need a solution fast. I have Lightroom version 7, and I have been using it without any issues for more than a year.
Hi! Unfortunately I lost my phone and was using lightroom on it (no subscription). I had a preset that i used a lot and now i've lost it. Is there a way tobe able to compare a previous original vs edited picture and figure out what the edits were? It's breaking my heart tremendously. Please and thank you.
Cordialement
I have a few albums on my phone where 1-2 photos won't sync to the cloud. I normally review + edit albums on my laptop, and import RAW photos taken from Halide and do some light edits / sharing from the mobile app. Short of looking at both libraries side by side (or selecting a range of photos and checking numbers etc) there is no way to find out what photos on my phone are not being synced. It still shows up as edited, so that filter doesn't work, and I run a preset (landscape profile, auto mode, a few other things) on import + these days batch apply HDR range once the files are on my laptop. Either of the following would work:1) Have the functionality on the desktop version where you can filtered by synced.2) Have the ability to filter by photos with issues on them.3) Have some indication on the photo grid that a photo has issues - red badge in the corner, red X across it, whatever. While this is, I guess, better than the behaviour for months where versions would just
I primarily use Lightroom Classic, and have a number of collections synced to the Cloud. This gives me the smart previews.. When I'm on the desktop I know I can use Lightroom (the other one) to add raw files for images already synced to the cloud. This then gives me the raw in the cloud too. When I'm on my iPad I sometimes find myself wanting to edit images where I don't have the raw synced yet. I have access to the file though through my NAS. Trying to add a raw from the iPad to replace a smart preview results in the 'skipped duplicate files' issue. Is there a way to disable the duplicate check on the iPad version, like in classic? Or another way to get the raw in to the cloud without using the desktop? Thanks,Markus

I am using mainly a drone (Mavic 3 Pro) and have just bought Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Version 7.3Merge photos - this seems to be working when I am taking 'top down' photos to create one large image However, I was hoping that I would be able to also use stitching to create a large pano photo using several images, but I do not seem to have this functionality. Any help would be appreciated.
after using each app for ten minutes they stop responding and crash. i cant edit and work like this
I'm using lightroom mobile 9.3.1 version. I edited one video and tried exporting it but the export got failed no matter how many times i do. I am exporting it as MP4 and it says "Couldn't complete export" "Video failed to export". Please help me with this issue, If i can't make exports then what is the use of taking subscription.
After more than 7 months, the subscription version of the Lightroom mobile app is not 100% compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro Max since you cannot use the 48mp or the 2x. In other third-party apps such as ProCamera, Moment, BeastCam, Halide, you can. Please update the camera options… and don’t wait for iOS 18. Greetings
Hello everyone! I want to know if it is possible to export a certain file with all edits and the multiple different versions of the picture to an external SD. When I tried to export per DNG or RAW it had always one set of edits saved with it. It would be perfect to have all versions of edits included in one file to export. Does anybody have an idea about this? Thanks in advance! App Version: Lightroom 7.3Device used: Macbook Pro OS Sonoma 14.4
Just now I export 175 photos and last random photos are in different look from lightroom. I try again to edit those pictures and export all of my photos in same settings and still happen that problem. When i edit those pictures and I zoom in they change settings back to before and even it's look like edited in lightroom I export and again those photo is back to start look. Why is that? It's look like a lightroom bug because it's happen to maybe 10 photos from 175?!? (And I understand that when export then look can be different by the export settings and this is not this time. There is bug. Never before zooming photo, photo don't change the look of settings) I have lightroom on samsung tablet. Version 9.3.1. (Attached photo is maybe small difference but still it is there and I can't show people photo outcome because of gdpr, and with people this little light difference is very big) I want to understand that someone will understand this problem and fix that ?

When you apply a presets containing masks using Lrc or Lr on your computer, masks are recalculated for every new picture where they are applied. This is how it should and must work. On mobile devices, you have to go into the preset and manually refresh every mask, which does not make sense. This is an inconsistent behaviour and not at all user-friendly. It was my belief that this was a gap that would be filled over time, but over a year has gone by and nothing happend, which is why I can only classify this as an error. Does anyone know when this error will be fixed?
I need HELP! I am trying to edit pictures downloaded from PhotoCircle in Lightroom. Every time I import the pictures it "fail to import". Why is this? Please help!!
Hello everyone.Recently I bought an iPad to integrate into my photography workflow.I work with Fuji X cameras and noticed that while importing RAW photos to LR CC, the previews don't render, which blocks my workflow.I've found people having this issue from old posts (posted around 2020) but never understood what was the problem, if it was solved then, or how it can be solved today.Any help would be highly apretiated,Joel
