Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

When you add photos to a folder on the iPhone and you select from Lightroom option it will show you the files in the last order you set in the standard photo gallery view. You cannot change it from the import dialog. You have to go to the main view change it there and then go back. That's a bug

Hello 🙂 I have shot a video with my iPhone 15, and it seems that it's not possible to sync, as syncing appears to be ongoing for over a day that I shot the video. The video file is 467MB, and I even exported it as MP4 (size increased to 777MB) on my computer (using iPhotos to get it on my Mac first, adding it to my Lightroom library and then exporting it as MP4) and tried to add it to my Lightroom library, but still not able to sync.  It is rather strange, as previous Mov files shot with an iPhone synced fine and backed up, but this time it seems impossible. I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you very much in advance!

Is there a way to transfer my account from a one to another? I'm leaving Adobe and I have been using my corprorate email/account. I need to transfer my 30K+ photos to another account. Any suggestions?

Hello,i deleted most of my images inside lightroom on my iPad, but under General settings/ ipad storage it doesn't free up the space. I restarted the ipad but nothing changes.my configuration iPad Pro 11 M2, iOS 17.02, lightroom mobile 8.51any ideas to solve this problem? thanks & best regardshenning 

Hi,I am a new user and have a question about uploading content.  I have both an Nikon DSLR which I use and also an iPhone.  My iPhone syncs to iCloud automatically like most everyone else.  I have a large Photo library on my Macbook which I want to selectivly import to LightRoom.  I have not seen a method of doing this yet in LR.  I could import the entire Photos lib and then selectively delete the old photos which I don't want to edit/keep. I've noticed that if I import the entire Photos library, I cannot do that again which is a problem.  My concern is that while I want to import my old library for editing, etc into LightRoom, I still want to be able to import my future iPhone photos into LR.  From my Nikon, I can simply import from its SD card, so that's not an issue. What's the best method of doing this? thank you! 'mark

I just purchased and installed Lightroom (10/4/2023). Lightroom freezes when I select Mask. I have Microsoft Windows 10 Pro on desktop. Help!

HiEvery time I try to export orignal to a new location lightroom with stall the copy. This can happen after copying 50 files or 500. The system will stay stalled for over 12 hours so it is not an issue of just waiting for it to restart. Cancelling the export with the x next to the progress bar allows me to try again. if I keep repeating the files will eventually copy after 5 plus attempts. I am using light room Desktop (not classic) on my Mac M1 max everything is fully upto date for MAXOS and lightroom. I have disabled the graphics card in preferences and restated the laptop several times.Thank you for your help David  

Hi, When I try the new Lightroom Denoise option, it said 'this photo format is not supported by this fonction'. I don't understand... My files are CR2 (Canon 6D), but most importantly, some days ago just after doing the update, I had try with a photo from this exact galery and it worked! But now it doesn't...

I have multiple different images which have the same name e.g. 0004.jpg and are otherwise identical when it comes to their metadata. Why? Because they come from the same analog scanner. Their previews are generated correctly but if I browse my catalog the "wrong" image gets loaded: e.g. I click right-arrow and the next image is shown, for a split second the correct image is there but then another image, which seems to have the same name replaces the correct one; the bottom preview image strip still shows the correct one but on fullscreen there is another one displayed. If I try to export multiple images from an album in which these naming conflicts are present complete random bevahiour occurs: Either some images are exported with presets from different images (probably where there are naming conflicts) or some images are missing and the exporter displays an error stating that the original file could not be found (everything is in sync with iCloud).  I would hope internal

Since upgrading to Mchip macbook recently whenever I  open a file from LR to PS (cmd+E) the file opens in PS as normal but PS stays in the background instead of automatically coming to the front. Very annoying when working through 100s of images in a day. It's never been like this in the 15 years I've been using LR&PS. I can't figure out where to find a relevant setting in either LR or PS to change. Must be so simple. Any ideas out there? 

Sou fotográfo de casamentos e fazemos a captacao com cartoes que iniciam os nomes dos arquivos em IMG_0001, logo separados 3 cartões para 3 momentos (1. making of da noiva; 2. cerimônia; 3. festa.), sendo assim os arquivos podem ter o mesmo nome, mas sao salvos em pastas separadas no backup. Após editado eu exporto os arquivos e o Lightroom exporta uma foto distinta da selecionada, e detalhe, ao conferir a foto notamos que eles tem o mesmo nome de arquivo, mas metadados diferentes. Preciso que seja resolvido O QUANTO ANTES, pois é um erro que compromete a entrega do trabalho, ONDE JÁ SE VIU UM PROGRAMA ERRAR A FOTO QUE EU SELECIONEI PARA EXPORTAR E COLOCAR OUTRA NO LUGAR ?????? 

Most of my images shown in LR are blurry like they been going through a VGA Filter. If I soom in I see the block pixels. I am using LR6.5. My systeem shlould be good enough to show pictures as normal. What can I do to prevent this? It looks like they are not completely loaded in LRCan this be due to a full cloud storage? 

Good morning! I just have it on my second, brand new MacBook Air. The first one had 16GB of RAM, the current has 8GB of RAM.   Start LR, wait 5 seconds: 45GB of System Memory is eaten up. I can not access Prefs or anything in the App.   Thanks   Wolfgang

Hi all! I love the online proofing function for my clients, but I would love for their "picks" to be automatically flagged for picked within the system. Is there something that I am missing? After they have selected their proofs, I have to go back to the online platform, go to their synced collection and select the proofing section to see their picks, and physically flag them so that those picks sync with the app/desktop program. Is there a setting that I'm missing? How can I have their picks automatically flagged and sync without me re-visiting the online version and flagging them myself?

So today i was editing some images.By accident i moved an image to a new section in the same folder, by stopping it i clicked on the X at the loading bar. Next thing i know, my entire folder is empty, but it says that all "865" images still are in the folder.I opened lightroom on my phone, and all images are intact. All images are saved on adobe cloud. I have tried to reset the presets, that was the only sollution i could find.Does anybody know an easy way to retrieve them?

It seems not to be be possible to use the healing tools at the bottom of the image as it is hidden behind the UI element.  

I am not able to set a folder like I had on my Lightroom Classic in Lightroom Cloud Version. Everytime I go to export photos,  it ask me which folder do you want to export to, when I just want customized predetermined settings in place which automatially come in play whenever I export any photos. Its pretty hectic choosing the same folder again & again.  Please help & guide me.  

ISSUE: Exporting an image with the "Date-Filename" option uses the wrong date.VERSION: v8.5.2OS: Android 12 STEPS:1. Open a photo that was taken before today2. Share3. Export as...4. More Options >5. Select "Date-Filename" under File Naming6. Export the photo7. Find the photo with a file explorer and check the filename. The name is prefixed with Today's date, instead of the Capture Date of the photo. EXPECTED RESULT:The exported photo's filename should be prefixed with the Capture Date of the photo. ACTUAL RESULT:The exported photo's filename is prefixed with the Today's Date. NOTE:Repeat the repo steps for Lightroom on Windows (with the same photo), and observe that the filename is correctly prefixed with the Capture Date of the photo. This inconsistency causes a lot of problems with file organisation.

Hello All,  I'm new to Adobe programs and was wondering if anyone can help me out?I'm trying to import photos to Premiere Rush or Premiere Pro from Lightroom with the pictures I have already edited. Can anyone please assist in this? I have created an album in Lightroom with the pictures that I want to export to Premiere, however, I can't find these in Lightroom.  I appreciate if anyone can assist me with this.  Thank you very much.  Sincerely, Javier Garcia H. 

I purchased LR and ran it on my laptop until my laptop died and I had to get a new one. I loaded LR onto the new computer from a time machine backup, but now I get an error message saying "Adobe LR is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the trash." The company says they no longer support that version of LR. Any ideas for a workaround? Thank you. I am running on a Mac with Apple OS Ventura 13.5

Including camera and raw info in the exported file is resulting in over inflated file sizes and the photos app to not only refuse to show them at full resolution but also causes every picture viewing app on iPadOS and iOS to either stall, freeze, or only show pixelated and blurred images. I have 3MP files that display better than their full 45MP resolution exports. I have a 3MP 1760x2170 black and white photo that is 25MB while it’s full size (only 7MP 2478x3097 ) counterpart is less than a 10th the size at 2.4MB This MIGHT be only a MINOR annoyance if I actually had control of EVERY way a photo was exported. As it stands, if I add a boarder to share a photo the (as I do for instagram and to preview what a photo might look like framed with a white matt) I have ZERO control of the included metadata and get the broken files every time. For the love of logic just give us universal control of exported files and fix this metadata issue. i don't know what is being recorded but not havin

I have the most up to date version of LR (Cloud) Version 6.5Running macOS Ventura version 13.4.1 on iMAC 2019 model For quite a while I've had an issue where no photos are found when I click the Add Photos button. The message reads "No images that can be imported where found in the selected source" My camera is connected via USB C and I have tried each of the ports. I have tried the SD card via the SD card slot but still the same issue. I also have LR to have full disk access. Not that I didn't have a problem before. If I click Browse Computer I can locate files on my SD card but previously LR would find files automatically. Any suggestions/fixes?
