If a user installed Lightroom on his phone and Laptop and a lot of time he has duplicate photos in both devices. Lightroom should detect that they are duplicate and don't add those photos in the catalog and on the cloud multiple times even if they have different names.
Expected Behavior:When Importing Photos to Lightroom for iOS, we expect that Live Photos are Imported and Synced to the Cloud Both photo & video.Actual Behavior:I did a full Back up on Lightroom for iOS and after deleting my original photos to save space, I discovered that Lightroom only did a backup to still photos without the video content (for Live photos). Cannot believe that adobe is focusing on new features while this is not fixed.
When installing Lightroom on my Android tablet, the only option given is to import photos, not take new photos via Lightroom. This is a problem because I want to start off with photos that need very little editing to begin with, as I do not own a fancy camera and only use my phone/tablet for photography. My J1 Ace did have this functionality, however froze whenever I attempted to access the camera function via Lightroom, so no use either.
This is what I'm looking at: I want to be able to see a bit out so I can tell if I'm missing terrain or buildings to put in the crop. See this, if I want to see a bit out like 100 pixels on each edge, it would be cool if that were possible than going All the way out. It would be nice to be able to adjust that setting or have multiple presets like 150, 200, 250, etc. favorited this way it would be easy to tell if the crop is good because once you export, it's done and usually never gets looked at to edit again.
I want an selfie option on 'Discover' so i can save selfie presets. I hope you add this feature.
Would it be possible to remove the white dock line on iOS in the Lightroom Mobile app? Apparently, it is a developers choice/responsibility to remove it or not show it. I'm hyperfocused when editing and frankly, it's distracting. It does not have a purpose when Lightroom is open. Appreciate it.
For several years I have syncronised my family photos from Lightroom to Flickr or Smugmug. Wouldn't it be nice if Adobe took their share of this growing market by developing a useful solution? I find it easy to syncronise to Lightroom Web, but there's three very important features lacking. Fix these, and I'm all ears! Password protected galleries (or invite by email) A search bar for invited users (included searching in keywords, not just captions) More than just one gallery
I would like it if when We hit the arrows for undo or redo that the blue box that pops up in the middle of the photo could be moved to the top or bottom. I'm sure I speak fit many in saying that using the undo and redo back to back a few times to view differences gets distracted by the blue notification box popping up each time. It gets distracting and often I spend too much time undoing and redoing. Thank you btw I only use Lightroom mobile - iPad and android phone
Hello! On Lightroom Classic I use Jeffrey Friedl’s plugin to name export files from the Title field. It would be great if we could do the same on Lightroom mobile, ta!
Lightroom mobile is capable of automatically importing photos taken on iPhone to the Lightroom library. For now, it imports all photos and does not provide any way to filter which photos to import. When I want to process a photo, I take it in RAW, using Halide. I then process it in Lightroom. And when I want to take a simple photo, I use the Photos app of Apple which is good enough in many situations. I've currently disabled the automatic import because I'd like to have only RAW files in Lightroom, not JPEG/HEIF photos. I thus manually import the RAWs in Lightroom. I'd like an option in Lightroom Mobile to import RAW files only, that would simplify my process.
You know how Lightroom mobile automatically syncs photos from your iPhoto camera roll. That's a great feature, but what if it could syncs photos back into iPhoto after we've edited them. Instead of having to export them everytime. This can be a toggle option within settings, granting adobe permission to sync edited photos from Lightroom back into iPhoto automatically. This way we don't have to keep exporting our finished photos into iphoto and have multiples of the same photo. You take a photo > it's syncs into LR > you edit your photo in LR > then BOOM! You go back to your iPhoto camera roll and your edited photo is there automatically synced in iPhoto.
Hi there, I am really hoping for the ability to customize the color of the grid in Lightroom as I cannot always view the lines when there is not a fair amount of contrast. A different color/width might really benefit those of us with vision disabilities. Please and thank you!!!
Tired of hunting down the "<back" for mouse click.. Instead just support the common browser keyboard combination "Alt + Left Arrow". Discovery navigation in lightroom requires a lot of "back" navigation, like a browser does. So just add the feature already built into modern browsers "Alt+ Left Arrow" goes to previous page. This way users can quickly move to a page and pack.
The apple TV app need a way to display photo location and the notes and names of the people that is shown. All data that [maybe] is available in the cloud version of lightroom. Please enable
It will be fine if only rated photos on camera could be added to lightroom. Now all card should be added
I would like to be able to use my own domain with the Lightroom gallery. This functionality exists in Adobe Portfolio so I was wondering if a similar functionality is available or planned for the Lightroom gallery. Portfilo has features I would like in Lightroom gallery like password protecting some albums and the custom domain. But the Lightroom gallery has much more to offer including full size images, the ability to download a whole album at once, it stays in sync without manual intervention, and the sharing functionality is better. If password protected albums and custom domains could be ported over to the Lightroom gallery it would be an even better product.
Once in F full screen mode, the only way out is G to Grid mode. Would it be possible to add E keyboard shortcut to Edit mode? Thank you! Guido
Add some good fonts in software
When using the eye dropper tool to try selecting a colour value near the top or right edge of the screen, the tick button becomes unreachable. Would be super handy if the tick could rotate around the circle, or auto-change which 'corner' of the circle it sits on when approaching the edges of the screen (although as far as I can tell it only affects the upper and right edges - examples attached)
From a collection in Lightroom, clicking on "Make Public" gives a web address to the collection. Using this method, the Photo Info does not appear when viewing photos at the web address. If the desktop version of LR Mobile is used, it is possible to copy the URL paste it into a browser, and view the photo info. Since the Make Public URL is automatically shortened, it is more convenient to use. Is it possible to include the photo info with the Make Public generated URL? It would also be good to include the location information with the photo info.
I recently upgraded to the latest version of Lightroom CC (Ver. 5.1). I use the Brush tool a lot in my images and I don't know if this is a bug, but my Brush size and Eraser size settings are the same. Before, If I made my eraser brush small and my Brush size large, they would stay the same unless changed. Now whenever I change the size of one of them, the other is affected. Plus, Auto Mask is the same too. I just want Auto Mask on the eraser brush and not the actual brush.
Are there plans for a verrsion of Lightoom for Mobile, to support Android TV (e.g. Nvidia Shield, or the new Goole TV, or older Chromecast), similar to the available version for Apple TV, to allow Viewing Images on TVs?
Throwing it out there as someone who uses remote desktop to manage my library, the animations for fading in and out of menus etc. are slowing down the workflow. A switch to disable these effects would be great. -Jake
I'm new to LR, so maybe I'm missing something. I use lightroom on my iPad, my iPhone, and my desktop (Windows). SnapSeed allows the user to view all edits and delete any one of those edits. LR doesn't appear to have that feature. It's inexcusable to me that LR can't offer a feature that SnapSeed (which is free!) offers.
Currently Lightroom has native ARM64 program for Windows on ARM devices such as Surface pro X. We need to install creative cloud desktop(ARM64) application first to intsall Lightroom. In fairness, it works well. But Lightroom x64 version is available directly from Microsoft store, so you don't have to install Creative cloud desktop application. Sadly Lightroom for ARM64 (Windows) cannot be installed directly from Microsoft store Is there any reason why Lightroom for ARM64 windows not available directly from Microsoft store?
