Hi, I'm having trouble getting my model past processing. The upload bar goes super quickly, but then it just stops when the window says "processing, this shouldnt take longer than half a minute." I googled it and most things say it's a server issue, but trying it on a past version of the model (admittedly I uploaded it previously to check the rig for functionality) and that works fine. My most recent attempt told me to contact support and they said come ask on the forum so I'm hoping you guys can help. Anyone know what's happening here?
Hello, Is anyon at adobe able to convey that mixamo truly needs to import into programs starting in the forms designated a-pose and not reset it. Mixamo fails in fit accuracy for garment production because we need the a pose. Also if I am applying code to bones and I have shoes rigged, it causes problems on shoes, unless I export the form as obj to to mixamo. In this case it makes the shoes look super funky, particulalrly in cat walk . Truly is problematic for apparel product development. I advise any company to only use mixamo for the animating of the form or clothes and never ever for fit validation. Never for fit construction. That said we still need start position in a-pose.
Agree, it would be convenient if in the 3D preview of mixamo there was an opportunity to change the background to green.Maybe there is some way? For example, through the source code of the site element. Does anyone know a quick way to make a green chroma key animation? Preferably without unloading into a blender and similar programs. (Inside the mixamo website) ??????
Hi guys! I made a character in Character Creator 3, which comes pre-rigged. I uploaded it to Mixamo and most of the animations have this weird effect of making the head "shake" rapidly. What could be causing this and how can I fix it? Thanks a lot!
When using mixamo I found in the last 2 months or so that animation look fine in the blender interface but when exported as a glft they are very distorted. Any work arounds? The smaller screen shot is from a glft to Don Mccrady gift viewer and the larger one is directly in blender and what I want it to look like. Your help would be appreciated
It seems like it's been some time since Mixamo has had any updates to the 'Animations' section and 'Characters'. While the characters arent as useful in my work I would like to see nice update of animations with longer timelines and less game like moves (more real-world stuff like standing, clapping, crowd behaviors). The site appears to be dead since acquisition. I am assuming they they dont own their own Mocap studio and rent a set, and is why their isn't monthly updates. I just imagine the library growing from time to time to become a massive powerhouse. Is there even an active team? Or do they just pool resources together once and a long while to make an update. As a sidenote it'd be cool if they expanded it to include animals like birds, reptiles, etc. and real 3D scans of people.I find it really sad how this project has been on the sideburner.
Hi, I just uploaded my model and I can not see anything. Can anyone help to test it and solve this issue? Thanks a lot.
I marked everything, but somehow it doesn't work... Can someone help me pls?
I tried to rig this model of Mac from fosters home for imaginary friends, but whenever I try it always says that there is an unknown error, if anyone has tips and solutions then please tell me
A week ago I tried uploading a character to mixamo, but the arms and legs got stretched and squiggly at some point during the upload. I originally thought there was something wrong with the mesh until I discovered that the characters built into the website were having the same issue. Any ideas what could be causing this? Here's a screenshot
Please let me know if I can use Mixamo character designs and riggings on my Youtube video without any license.
In a blender, everything looks good but when I import an obj into mixamo the rigs animation is the wrong way. Ex: When I import the mesh it is facing the right way but when I click on an animation it turns my mesh in the opposite direction and then executes the animation.
I just downloaded the Mixamo add-on for Blender and when I try to generate a control rig it throws an error. All settings are default and I use the Y-bot model downloaded straight from Mixamo. Does anyone know why this is happening? Python: Traceback (most recent call last):File "C:\Users\[REDACTED]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.2\scripts\addons\mixamo_rig\mixamo_rig.py", line 177, in execute_make_rig(self)File "C:\Users\[REDACTED]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.2\scripts\addons\mixamo_rig\mixamo_rig.py", line 2006, in _make_rigadd_leg("Left")File "C:\Users\[REDACTED]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.2\scripts\addons\mixamo_rig\mixamo_rig.py", line 1177, in add_legcns = c_foot_ik_pb.constraints.get(cns_name)AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'constraints'
So I already pre-rigged my character in Blender, but when I upload my character into Mixamo, my character doesn't have any animations. Mixamo can detect my skeleton, but no animations ever show up. How can I fix this problem?
I'm pretty new to animating so I don't exactly know much about it. But I've been trying to animate Roblox avatars and everything worked smoothly. I rigged everything properly and the animation works, but when I export, I get the message saying: "ERROR occured on export: Unknown error while generating motion" How do I fix this?
Hi,I've tried two ways to apply a Mixamo animation to my model, I uploaded it to the site and when I try to use the auto-rigger it says "Unknown error while generating motion".So i tried another way and clicked "Create Control Rig" in Blender, imported the animation and clicked "Apply Animation to Control Rig" but I get this error:Python: Traceback (most recent call last):File "C:\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.2\scripts\addons\mixamo_rig\mixamo_rig.py", line 306, in execute_import_anim(src_arm, tar_arm, import_only=True)File "C:\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.2\scripts\addons\mixamo_rig\mixamo_rig.py", line 2264, in _import_animarm_left_kinematic = "IK" if c_hand_ik_left_pb["ik_fk_switch"] < 0.5 else "FK"TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable
Hello,I am currently working on my diploma thesis the subject of which is the use of Unity's Perception package to generate a synthetic dataset for training and evaluating Active Vision methods. The dataset will contain images for 33 different human models at various distances, angles, environments, etc. Some of these models were download from Mixamo. My question is: Am I allowed to include images that contain Mixamo models in the synthetic dataset I described?
See I want to be an game Dev so me and my friends (we are under 18) have decided to make games and sell it so can I usemixamo's characters and animations in the game which I will sell
I have encountered an odd, random issue. I can upload my character just fine, but when it gets to the auto-rigging, it encouters an error when it can'y "see" the points. I have gone back and notices when I click on the circles to readjust them, it shows a blank screen in the targetting box until I move the circle, then my character's wrist, etc pops into view. I have no idea what's going on, but it refuses to map this character.I have a video showing the process and error - forgive me, I don't know how to edit so feel free to skip ahead after I click the auto-rig button to see the error. Cheers Edit: Well, I have a video but can't upload it here for some reason. So here's an image of the rror instead...
I'm following this video...https://substance3d.adobe.com/plugins/mixamo-in-blender/but I'm getting stuck after I select the zip file. The add-on simply isn't on the list. What can I do?
"Your 3D character has been uploaded. Proceed with this new character? Your previous character will not be saved." So, if I want to use one of my older characters to preview animations in the future, will I need to reupload them from fbx again? And if so, can I get by without having to go through the rigging process again if I import a version with a skeleton?
Hi I'm working on a model for someone that has a modified mixamo head as part of the main model, which they intend to sell later on. The head has been heavily modified to the point it does not look like the original, and is attached to the model (it is not separate.) I was wondering if this would be against the license? If it's okay to sell, do I need to credit the original creators?
Hello, so I have a character in unreal engine. I export the SkelMesh, upload it to mixamo, add animation, it looks flawless, plays as expected. I download the new skel from mixamo, along with the animation. i import to unreal, the Skel looks normal. i import animation, and its a messy goopy pile of crap. Ive tried different import settings etc. converting scene and all that stuff. I dont understand how it can look perfect on mixamo, then just break? Why is this such a difficult process? Any help would be great, please.
When i login to mixamo not showing character option to select animation and when i open only showing animation when i click on any animation nothing happening what should I do
1-upload texture button to make the work flow easier 2-change default lighting so we can see the models better 3-back to rig mode button when in animation mode4-edit skin weights /paint weights within mixamo
