What version of LrC are you using?  The current version is 15.0.1.       Adobe stopped changing the file name with version numbers.  If you open a catalog with the current version, it will be an upgraded catalog, regardless of the catalog file name.     If a catalog does not open, it may be corrupted at the operating system level.  You may have to locate and use your backup catalog file.      ... "what you mean with the last sentence (english is not my native language) outputting sections??"   The idea is that you may have a damaged source file.   If you output the video in four separate sections and one section produces an error it would suggest that section has a damaged file.   To do this you use the "work area bars".  At the top of the timeline those "bars" or markers can be set with a begining and an end.  Then, in the output dialog, there is a small check box for "Work Area Only".      ... This does not come up often and can be hard to track down.     Sometimes things like this happen when there is a shortage of disk space.   Video editors like Premiere Elements use a lot of space for temporary files.  If there isn't enough space, errors can occur.     Another cause might be a 'corrupt' or damaged source file.  It can be either a video clip or an audio clip.   Trouble shooting can be tedious.  You might try outputing sections of the project with start and stop limits set with the work area bars.    ... I'm not sure what you mean by "2 instances of Windows Explorer".      I use dragging and dropping of folders in LrC regularly.  It works well enough that I not tempted to try another way.    Even though the panel is small, it moves as you move your mouse.  Can you make a couple of  test folders and try it?    Consider watching this 3 minute video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yl5oH_shX08   If you really want to use Explorer,  there are tools in LrC to update the catalog after you move the files.   I can look for specific instructions if you can't find them.    ... Your earlier project settings post shows you have the project set to 1080i.   A standard HD video workflow is to be sure the camera is set to shoot 1080p.  (The "i" means interlaced and it was appropriate for when we had tube TVs!).   Then copy those video files to your computer using standard operating system sofware like File Explorer.   Once on your computer, use Premiere Elements to put together your video.     When you start a new project with your 1080p footage, be sure to use a primary clip for your first clip.  That will automatically set up the correct "p" (progressive) project.     It has been years since I had a Panasonic camcorder that used their HD Writer program.   It had some useful features for people that didn't have good video editing programs.  It also could cause problems with the footage for people that wanted to use better editing software.    ...
