How to set it permanently?
This may seem wild, but many ideas might've seem that way when first introduced, so bare with me as I believe it would be rather sexy addition to using brushes in Photoshop. Imagine you choose a brush tip and are ready to use it in your art. But it's not quite right and you could use the Brush Tip to rotate few degrees. So you go to your Brush Palate and Brush Tip Shape Palate and manually rotate the wheel in that Dialog Box or type the number of degrees in a Angle Box(°). Then you go back to your art and continue using the newly set up brush. Until - you need to adjust the rotation of the Tip again, and again... you get the point. Wouldn't it be fantastic if we can rotate the Brush Tip 'on the fly' without having to go to the brush palate over and over again, just like we can now change it's size and softness? Perhaps Left Bracket and Right Bracket would rotate the brush Tip CCW and CW by a 1° (by 10° with Shift) or in increments you set up in Preferences? Wouldn't that be something?
I'd like to be able to perhaps right-click on a brush/group of brushes in Photoshop and change the color of the little folder icon. A quick search didn't turn up anything so I figured I'd suggest it. I recently got a new computer and was installing all my brushes I'd moved over from my old one, and reorganizing them all made me wish I could color code them so I could more easily identify them at a glance. I have a lot and scrolling through all that text is a chore!
So I know you can stroke a Line path with a brush but I would like to automate this process, and just be able to draw a line with the texture of whatever brush you select, with pressure sensativity as an option. Why? Well I draw a lot of buildings, and love getting that natural pencil line look for work (Alot of people in architecture do as well). Im aware you can hold shift using a brush to make a line. The problem is using a normal brush and holding shift alot of times the pressure senstivity fades the line so I have to draw it over and over or modify the brush and lose some of its characteristics. What I like about the LINE tool is that you can see where your line is being drawn before you make it, so essentially its easier and faster, but lacks the natural look of the brushes (again unless you make a path and stroke it, which is slow if you have 1000 lines to draw to make a building or city). Please consider it, I think alot of people who draw , especial
Does anyone know if there is a setting in PS text box so you know when the text is cut off in the text box? Currently is only shows up as a small black colored + sign, unlike in Ai and Id when is shows up as a RED + in the end of the text box letting you know your text is cut off. I have often overlooked the cut off text because the little box below doesn't stand out in red like it does in the other popular applications. Any suggestions? Doesnt just make sense to do it all in red? Black doesn't make sense. It gets lost in a document.
Could we please be able to assign actions to an expanded selection of keyboard shortcuts? This seems relatively easy to do, and I'm baffled it's not an option. Example: I want to assign fill to F or Ctrl+F, not F4. These buttons are far away and in akward locations for my left hand which is around the lower left quadrant of the keyboard 90% of the time. Thanks!
In the Image Size panel, there is a link icon that toggles whether or not the aspect ratio will be preserved when the image is resized. In its unlocked state, the icon shows a linked chain, which implies that the aspect ratio is locked. In its locked state, the exact same icon has a highlight around it. This is dumb. Please change it so the unlocked state clearly shows a broken chain.
Please can we have colour swatches in PS mobile
Hi , Can add Webp format to photoshop par default ! we to download extension from unknown site is so risk ,
Currently: if i have some adjustment layer(cuver, level something), use minimize tab, auto collapse lconic panel, it's really clean and simple. But if need to edit value, i have to "double click" adjusetment layer. it's not big deal when use mouse. However using wacom tablet, Sometimes double-clicks aren't good. I want you to make an option to open it with one click or double click like we use a smartphone or ipad thing.
The industry ***desparately*** needs a half drop verison of pattern preview, in addition to object rotation bugs being fixed.
Please add support for Photoshop WEB for AndroidBrowsers! I have an "Samsung Tab S8 Ultra" - Photoshop (and fresco) would be perfect for this hardware! Thx
In all apps, transform handles work like this:- Dragging a corner transforms the selection with constrained aspect ratio.- Dragging a center handle constrains in either vertical or horizontal dimension. For some reason Photoshop does not follow this standard. Please make Photoshop's transform handles more intuïtive
There is "Sample Layer" option in all other healing tools like Spot Healing Brush Tool, Healing Brush Tool etc. It is very convenient for a user who are doing non-destructive editing. It would be more convenient if "Sample Layer" option is added for Patch Tool also.
Does anyone know if the DRAG AND DROP feature will ever happen while in split screen mode? I would like to be able to have PHOTOS or DROPBOX apps open in split screen mode and simply drag files in to PHOTOSHOP. Thanks, Subrina
Would Adobe consider offering say a "lite" addon or plan for Photoshop CC users more for stills, perhaps without the video functionality? Tried it out for a bit, and the features seem more robust compared to the "share for commenting" feature as it allows sharing full folders instead of individual files only.
ExtendScript as it's implemented in Photoshop Scripting engine is compliant to: - ECMA-262 (version 3) - EX4 (EcmaScript for XML) plus other custom stuff like Filesystem management, Reflection interface, operator overloading, etc. It's a great language, but... the rest of the Javascript world has moved to ECMA-262 version 6 aka ES6 Harmony, while so to speak we're stuck at ES3. We don't have native support (among the rest) of JSON, Array.indexOf, Promises, Object.create, etc... It's becoming increasingly difficult to interface with JS libraries, since shims are not always available/functional. Also, strategically, we're in a cul-de-sac (aka dead end): there hasn't ever been a major language update (besides ScriptUI changes to support different rendering engines over the years), the PS Scripting language cannot not-evolve now that JS seems to have gained a great momentum and it's as lively as it's never been in the past. My feature request is not to substitute ExtendScript with JS tout-
Would it be an idea to put a button next to the "select subject" with "select sky" You already got the Sky replacment that makes a great selection 🙂And maybe get more AI running... "Select skin", "Select hair" etc. etc.
When working on my landscape images I often see white halos around high contrast edges from compositing, over-processing, over-sharpening, or all of the above. I'd love to see Photoshop have a halo removal tool to help with these. I envision it to be similar to the Refine Edge Tool where a user could selectively paint over an area; then Photoshop would use some of that wonderful Adobe Sensei magic to clone the appropriate pixels into the white halo. Doing this manually with the clone stamp tool set to Darken is very tedious. A dedicated tool would be a massive time saver. Thanks for your consideration.
I'm sure I can't be the first person to point out that one area in which Photoshop is seriously lacking is keyboard shortcuts.Currently, there are many severe limitations to how you can customize shortcuts, such as:• Tools can only be single keys• Other shortcuts cannot be single keys• All shortcuts must include Shift• Actions can only be F keys• Useful keys like Tilde and Backslash cannot be usedYou might say: "Why does it matter?" But this kind of customizability is essential for cramming all the controls we use the most into those 12 keys under the left hand, so you don't have to keep moving your hands around constantly. The more shortcuts you can assign to a single key, the more power you have at your fingertips. You might say: "Tools are special - they need to be a single key". But not everyone uses tools the same, or has the same definition of a tool. For example, some might say that showing/hiding extras was important enough to warrant a single-key command. (Adobe InDesign lets y
Hello, I LOVE the Depth Blur neural filter - it is truly incredible. But it would be even more incredible if either:(a) it could be used on video clips within Photoshop or (b) it was converted to be an After Effects filter Any possibility of either of those happening? Please? 😁 ~ Paul
Say I have a chest-up portrait of a person that I want to cut out from the background, so I use the select and mask tool. A problem I run into frequently is that the settings I want to use on the hair differs from the rest of the person. For example, the hair selects better if I use no smoothing and high contrast, even before using the refine edge brush. But this makes the rest of the selection (around their face, neck, shoulders) jaggy. On the other hand, if I increase the smoothing to get a decent selection, the hair selection looks bad, and the refine edge tool isn't perfect either. Idea: Allow different parts of the selection's edge to have different settings applied. So I could specify any selection on the hair would have some settings, the rest others. I know this is probably a very complicated feature to implement, but figured I'd throw it out there.
I would like to be able to select one or more existing rounded rectangle shapes and change the corner radius to a precise amount by entering a pixel value with the keyboard. Right now, the only way to get a precise corner radius after the rectangle has been created is to zoom in and carefully use the corner widgets. That's a pain if you want to change the corner radius of a bunch of boxes.
