Hello, I want to share something..about artboard I need a button on window tab.Which can work for these things if I change movement, color, transformation object in Artboard. It should be automatically changed in all artboards. and this button should be with toggle tool On/Off (can activate this button on my need.) actually my propose is if i want 10 designs for same content with different backgrounds and i want to change size or color of object i need automatically change in all 10 artboards. and you will understand with my attached file, if i want to change flowers's color or size i need it will change in all artboards. so that i can check preview at same time..how its looks like. Thanks i hope, photoshop will work on this.. for more speed or option..
Visualize batch progress for photoshop 1.I often use batch processing, and usually need to process a lot of files; 2.When I was processing these files, I found that I could not check the progress of the processing; 3.If we can set up a window to display the processing status of these files,Similar to the picture with appendix (i design a sample) 4.I can better understand how far the work is going; 5.thanks and i hope photoshop will be better in the future.
I know these types of messages typically go straight into the "we know better than our professional customers" void, but hopefully someone at Adobe will listen for a change (Adobe lost my NLE business to DaVinci Resolve years ago, so I'm not holding my breath). There's no practical or business reason for professionals to be relagated to only "Classic". Frankly, Classic could be replaced with two menu settings in Cloud (Storage Location + Basic/Advanced View). Backstory: I'm an IATSE Cinematographer based in New York City. I also shoot still photographs (as do many of us), but I have not pursued it as a professional career because up until 2019 I was legally colorblind and could not handle editing color. In 2019 I purchased Enchroma glasses that effectively ended my colorblindness, so I have decided to pursue photography. First off, using Lightroom CC on the mobile app is a joy - it works! With my busy career, it is nice to be able to edit p
I'd go back to using auto-update IF I was notified when the update happened, and was provided with info on what changed. (Apologize in advance if this exists and I just haven't found it). It's extremely aggravating when rote skills you've been using for decades suddenly don't work, such as the Free Transform debacle (thank you for providing the legacy preference). And because of muscle memory it's challenging to update to a new set of rote steps.I'm a Photoshop user from the very first version. Back in the day every year or so you purchased the latest and greatest update. You knew going in things would change and you'd have to figure out all the new features. I finally turned off auto-updates from Creative Cloud because the velocity of change...and not knowing that something changed...has me pulling out my hair. (A common occurance over a lifetime with Microsoft product, but until recently never with Adobe). Most of us out there aren't hobbyists. We make a living via Photoshop as a prod
I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio and I would like the toolbar buttons to get double the size for drawing. It'd also be nicer to have the toolbar buttons only be drawing related IE: brush, eraser, arrow, undo, redo, flip canvas horizontal. Line
Or maybe just a few simple ones like height map to normal filter , and normal to curvatures. Working as a adjustment layers, i.e updating on the fly rather than smart objects filters where you have to save first. Once I tried "live filters" in Afinity Photo I can't go back to Photoshop any more. They are so convenient and so much more flexible. Pairing such "live filters" with ability to do your own in Substance Designer woud be super helpful.I hate Sampler, it's so clunky and inconvenient , Photoshop could be a perfect replacement with such addition.
iPhones create HEIC photos with GPS metadata. This GPS metadata is lost when working on these photos in Photoshop and subsequently Exporting or Saving to a JPEG file. Please retain the GPS metadata when Exporting or Saving to JPEG.
I would like to be able to create a grid from the center of the canvas. As it is, if I have a image (in this case a book template for printing) and the canvas is 2775w x 2175h (9.25"x7.25" at 300ppi) in order to create a GRID that fits (relates to) the canvas - so I can align objects to the "page" in my layout - I have to use a "Factor Calculator" (website) enter in fist value: 2775 generates to "factors" of that number (1,3,5,15,25,37,75,111,185,555,925,2775) enter in second value: 2175 generate factors (1,3,5,25,29,75,87,145,435,725,2175) Now in Photoshop Preferences >Guides, Grid & Slices > Gridline Every [choose a factor both values share: 1, 3, 5, 25, 75] this will create a grid that matches the canvas. In this example, 75 with two subdivisions worked well. It would be nice if Photoshop could just do this calculation for us by checking a box "Create grid from center of canvas" and then use whatever divisions you want - just like normal (every px/inch/cm/% etc).
I have many actions and develop more every week. The button mode panel has become a bit overwelming. It would be a great improvement for me to have the ability to categorize/folder the buttons with a hierarchal view or pull down menu. You could say that i should use the action panel in its native view but the color coding that buttons offer is quite convenient to me. So the other suggestion is to allow the native view menu items to be colorized... but i like the buttons 🙂Thanks for listeningPierre
Despite Photoshop being installed on D:, the cache and various settings and temp files are in C:, my C: drive is a very small boot drive and fills up quickly with smart object .psb when working on a large project, which causes Photoshop to be unable to save my working document when it fills. This doesn't make any sense, I'd rather the temp was on another larger drive. When I have tried to manually move the temp folder location to a larger drive, Photoshop crashes and will not load.
Currently, you cannot creatie a custom brush that utilizes adjustable hardness, even with a feathered edge. This significantly limits the usability for flexability of custom brushes and confines an artists's creativity. I would like to see the hardness slider become available for custom brushes that have a feathered edge. Allowing for custom brushes to have a hardness slider would be extremely useful. There are many instances where, in creating a custom brush, being able to adjust the hardness would make the use for the brush singificantly more versatile and tre-to-life.
app.layerComps is a common command in some code I've written for Photoshop/ExtendScript. I'm trying to recreate the same functionality in a UXP plugin and hitting blockers. Layer Comps is a lovely feature, albiet perhaps a hidden gem. So I hope this is just a low priority for the API - not a sign of a feature on its way out. Thanks for taking the time.
Font sizes in prefernces - Bridge and PS CC are not as "friendly" as in PS Lightroom Classic. Can you please work on a slider or way to adjust font sizes in preferences that many of us can see the items without straining. As Example - PS Preference font size 100 - next is 200 --- this results in either small or H
I shoot primarily landscape and macro photos. I would love to be able to use an ipad pro for all of my photo editing needs. Focus Stacking is the last major thing I am waiting on to be able to make this change. I would like to see the Photoshop version for ipad be able to automatically align and merge focus stacked images like the desktop version.
I have been processing a bunch of scanned photos where the photo is surrounded by the white background from the scanner. To remove the white background I use the Crop tool but I find this quite tedious because when I zoom in such that I can see the whole photo making it easy to access all four sides, it is very difficult to crop with pixel-precision. If I zoom in a lot then I cannot see the whole edge at once and I end up spending a lot of time moving around the photo. I have used the AutoCrop feature but it is not accurate enough and I still need to go through the manual process on several edges.Improvement idea: Provide an option that the part of the crop outline where I click acts as a magnifier, so I can locate the crop outline with pixel-precision while using a zoom factor that leaves the whole photo visible. Benefit: time savings.I am using PS 2022, up to date (23.1.1), on Windows 11.Thanks, Adriaan
*Disclaimer* I am in no way experienced with software development so I have no idea if this is even possible. I also have no idea if a third-party plugin for this already exists. Figma has the capability to work on projects collaboratively in real-time, so I was thinking this would be amazing in the adobe suite. However, I get the impression this probably wouldn't be possible in photoshop for example especially if users were using features such as displacement maps or rendering effects that require high CPU power. So my thoughts were maybe a new app addition to the creative suite would work, perhaps it could work as just a collaborative space where you can just click and drag layer content from PS/Ai onto an artboard in the app, with basic editing features so collaborators can edit it to some extent still such as transform, warp, fill/stroke for shape content, etc. Collaborative files could be stored in the cloud, content sharing could work in a similar way to uploading
It would be great to have the font size dropdown a bit more complex but useful. This website provides different font scaling based on different rules: https://type-scale.comIt would be great to have choices for what rule to use, and then font sizes would be displayed based on different rules, starting with a certain value. Once that value changes, the rest of the font sizes changes... based on the selected rule.We could also have the option to custom select a font size we prefer.
Hello, I would like to be able to use the vanishing point filter with the possibility of transforming it into a smart filter so that I can modify it in my work and have the possibility of working non-destructively.Let's imagine that my work has to be modified for a customer correction, or a bigger modification currently it's impossible to use it quickly to be able to edit the points or other. How will the feature help your workflow? Time saving and easy edit. Thank you
I've waited for this feature for a long time but it still doesn't happen. So here it goes:As a Photoshop user I often want to update a layer style that is being used on multiple layers. Meaning I change in one place, and all layers using that style will get updated. As of now, you're limited to workarounds that are either complex or not applicable to the specific use case.Suggested solution:Add a "linked/dynamic/whatever" layer style. If this layer style is changed anywhere, whatever layer that is using it will be updated accordingly. This should go for both normal layer styles and layer style presets. This would increase productivity a lot when doing complex design and wanting to try out things quickly.
I'd love a better way to organize brushes, shapes, and styles. Perhaps a way to tag them, then search or sort by tag.
As I thought it was an error in my PS system I posted this as a question here:https://bityl.co/AeJC But now I've learned that it seems to be a feature that undocked panels are visible in the home screen. I think they're totally useless there and rather annpoyig, since they hide the interesting stuff. So I'd like to recommend to hide these in a future release. BR
Is this where we post feature requests for Photoshop? I tried User Voice (https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html), but there's no category for Photoshop?Request: Please make Photoshop's user interface scalable, like Adobe Illustrator's. The Photoshop UI fonts especially are too small for a 4K monitor, and the UI font settings appear to influence only one Photoshop menu: the File Info option; it's been like this for years. Please fix. Thanks.
This will save a lot of time in choosing the right font !! You can tag each font with as many tags as you want. For example -by the foundry company, by style, by language, by trends and by any genre you decide to exist... In the font search window -You can filter them by several tags at once.#Sense #Narrow #2022#Serif #running text #Russian OMG than it wiil be so easy to choose the best font for my design..Isn't it a gret idea?
Will there ever be text customization on the ipad version? I really hate the fact that I can't do simple adjustments to text like outside border and shadowing. Is there currently a way? [Subject edited by moderator for clarity — added "Layer Effects for iPad"]
For over 20 years, photoshop had a simple keyboard shortcut in place - press shift to scale proportionally. In the last 3 years, they reversed this, so that holding shift down actually makes scaling UNproportionate (disproportionate? - you get the point).Over the last several months, with each update it seems, my commands go back and forth between the two.Maybe it's time to make this a user preference, so that this awful prank stops slowing down our workflow.
