Hair, beard, eyebrows, teeth, and eyes exist as presets. We need one for fingernails. So often, a woman pic has her in great outfits and makeup, and then her hands look like an NFL linebacker. Making those fingernails look normal, or even polished or French manicures, etc., would be great! Help! Thank you.
In Ilustrator and InDesgin it's super easy: there is a button in the interface (swap fill and stroke) and a keyboard shortcut (Shift X), in Photoshop: nothing. It would be great to be able to quickly swich the colors around because the most common 2 things I use for shapes are:- a line (where i need a fill) - a rectangular frame (where i need a stroke)so when i need to switch between a line and a frame i keep having to fiddle in the top mini-buttons interface: select the color from the recent swatches for a stroke, and selecting "none" for the fill >> that's 6 clicks!! It takes me out of my flow, is there a way to do this faster like in Illustrator/InDesign? And if not: how do I suggest this improvement to the developers?
Whenever I do a 'Save a Copy...' I only ever use PSD, PNG, TIFF or JPG. There are many formats in the "Save as type" pop-up menu, and it'd be lovely to be able to group them somehow, so I never inadvertently, for example, select JPS instead of JPG. That way, I could have my most commonly used formats at the top of the menu, then a divider line, and all the other formats (that I never use) below that. I'm sure I'm not alone in only ever using a few file formats.
This is killing me. Please have an option to stop the Beta release version from taking over all the file type associations from the stable release version every time it updates which is literally every day.I like to have both installed so I can try new beta features on ocassion, but most of the time I want a jpeg or tiff or whatever is currently assigned to the regular version to open in that version when I double click on it. I'm begging you. 🙂
HelloOver time, I've noticed that many users have asked why Photoshop can't export different artboards to animated Gifs. This is a feature that saves time when creating animated Gif banners of different sizes.- The "export artboards to files" option does not allow this.- And the "Export to" option does allow the Gif, but it's static. So I have to hide all the artboards and display one by one the size I want to export, using the Save for Web function. Please allow web saving for all artboards at once!
Hi everybody, Image attached...Adobe, please un-truncate the align toolbar options. There's absolutely no reason to do this. I have to target a 1000 things in a day this would save me at least ten. Do it, I know you can, it's got to be easy. Again there's no reason for an extra drop-down. I look forward to this update. Thank you.
Hi, I work at a retouching office, I love photoshop and all the features it has, however here is a big big update I am hoping for, I edit over 1000 photos a day, I do cropping on all of them, I use the crop, select the fill content aware option on all of them too, then after I go to an adjustment layer and use it.my content aware selection is not selected anymore, making it an extra step to go on every photo I do, it is just not productive, now this issue did not happened in PS2019 - can Adobe team let us change the default crop fill selection from background to content aware?
Alt click to draw straight line with remove tool would be handy..Just like with the pensel tool...Thank you.
First, there were actions. Then scripting. I'd like to see Adobe implement a generative pre-trained AI coding assistant, similar to ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot, Omata Labs MATE for Illustrator etc. Rather than recording an action or learning to write a script, one would just instruct the AI assistant what one wishes to do and it would create a script on the fly and execute it. Of course, one could also ask for corrections and create iterations of the original prompt to tighten things up. Unlike external apps, having this direct in Photoshop would allow for integrated debugging and code correction. Casual users don't even need to see the code, they may use the assistant in a live, interactive fashion and may never wish to see or use the underlying code again for a one off task. But with an advanced checkbox, the code could be exposed.
I use 2-3 different marquee (cropping) fixed ratios most of the time. I wish there was a way to save my favorite fixed ratios in a pop-up menu so I don't have to memorize them or look them up every time I need to switch. Extra points for being able to label them ("HDTV", "MacBook", etc.) A fixed ratio history would be a nice feature, similar to the recently opened history in the file menu.
The floating bar is often very useful but it always seems to be in the way. I wish it would stay put when I move it to the edge of the work.
Hi,What about some way of reducing the size of the thumbnails on the home screen that appear when you edit a photo.Thankyou
I know the Liquify filter is very powerful, but it has some imperfections. For example, each time you use it, you have to wait for the Liquify filter window to open. It's also not possible to liquify multiple layers simultaneously without converting them into smart objects. Because Liquify is used so frequently, these issues can be quite disruptive.I hope Photoshop can offer a Liquify brush similar to what Clip Studio Paint provides. A brush that can be used immediately with a brush shortcut, doesn't require opening the heavy Liquify filter window, and allows for the liquifying of multiple layers or folders at once. This simpler version of liquify would be very useful.I'm not suggesting it replace the Liquify filter; I believe they are different tools. One is like a large screwdriver, and the other is like a small screwdriver. They may seem to serve the same function, but they each have their unique uses.
there was a feature in photoshop fix that allowed me to color-on darkness or light to a specific area. please can you add this to ps express. it was super helpful because i could color over a specific part of a photo and just that part would become lighter or darker.
I often change the bg color to make sure the image looks well, including the edges. Recently I was editing this one and realized that I miss the feature in the Liquify window (default gray doesn't allow to see the issue at all). So I suggest adding the option to change the background color in Liquify window 🙂
I've been troubled by the changes I notice happening to photoshop - the face expression problem the most recent example. I do understand the growing need for AI friendly apps for photographers but at the same time because my work is based on constructing my own components, I'm increasingly concerned that my method of working which has taken many years to develop, will be compromised in some way. I made a conscious design to use AI - for a variety of reasons - so its disappointing and concerning that I may not have a choice. So my idea, or perhaps my request is that photoshop might be divided into 2 versions - AI and traditional. There are so many apps available now with variations on many, so I'm hoping the development team might consider this idea. regards Rosemary
The filter function executes its parameter function for each pixel in the layer. The xy parameter of the parameter function is the coordinate of the pixel, the c parameter is the original color, and the function value of the parameter function is the new color of the pixel. This will be a very powerful function that allows developers to freely implement various effects, including but not limited to the current various filters. The current applyCustomFilter is too weak!
I wish I could get a list of directories where files came from each time I load a new image into a composite in Photoshop. Sometimes I need to find out where the original photo came from on my pc and if I am compositing many photos then it's hard to keep track.
I never use Camera raw, yet I have had to upgrade it all the time. Please make Camera raw part of Photoshop so all we have to do is upgrade Photoshop and not both Photoshop and Camera raw. Thank you.
If it's possible, I'd like a way to use quick actions (like oil paint effect or water color) from a previous version of PS in a newer one. I'll often purchase an effect I absolutely love (as does my client) only to not need it for sometime. Meanwhile PS gets multiple upgrades. Then I need that effect again and it's no longer compatible with the new version. If there is a way for PS to see the features needed in a specific action script which have either changed or been removed and re-install them to the current version so the scripts we've bought can still be used, that would be pure gold. I've bought so many action scripts that I love but can't use anymore and newer ones will not only stop working (based on experience) but I know when I buy them they aren't going to be of any use a year from now. Very Frustrating.
Would there be a possibility to list all the possible modifiers as a contextual reminder at the bottom (or anywhere else). For example, when you choose the direct selection tool in Photoshop, it would list want you can do if you press ALT, SHIFT, or CTRL (windows)see how it works in another software (competition) I think it wouldn't hurt and would greatly simplify the leaning curve for beginners (but not only, sometimes brain farts occur!) It take so little space, and would likely be hidden if one wanted to (pretty much like rich tool tips) Some users come from a competitor and start their Adobe learning journey and are used to find such aids in the original software and are quite puzzled it doesn't exist in Photoshop. Obviously it could be ported to all the apps in the Creative Suite.
I would like to have the tools to be able to create small animations in Photoshop for the Web, as is available in the desktop version.
I was taking id pics and had to use online tools that effortlessly remove background in one click. Please avail this feature
Full list of suggestions:1. Increase photoshops and illustrators compadibility as it relates to filesize and dimensions.2. Allow for the size limit of the pasteboard to be customized.3. Remove size limits to export paths to illustrator4. Allow for the option of offline nerual filters use. 5. Make color swatches dedicated to the program, not the file. 6. Allow option for offline image generation
Hello,is it possible to label the release document in Photoshop with the caption of the respective artboards? This simplifies collaboration with external parties and the understanding of the respective artboard. Thank you very much for your feedback. Best regards
