Es wäre super, wenn unter den Parametric Filtern dies selben Stile wie auch im FireFly (Stilreferenzen) zu finden wären. So gäbe es einen reibungslosen Austausch zwischen FireFly und PSD. Lieben DankSilvan
In photohop, after a generative fill layer it is created, 3 variations are proposed.Sometimes a variation is totally useless and sometimes it is on the right mark but still not 100% perfect. If would be great to have a feature to create 3 new variations derived (similar) to a previour variation to refine and increase the chance to have a good result.Midjourney has such a feature an really increase the productivity in the creative process
I sometimes feel like I'm at cross purposes with Adobe approach. If I find something that works I stick with it. Not you guys, however. Fundamentally opposed to just leaving things alone. It offend you. So the application is in a constant state of flux, which is very irritating. I am sure that you see many fascinating and complex and highly evolved tasks, and sequences of events and innovative ways to use the software that never occur to the rest of us. You are fundamentally opposed to just leaving it alone so it just works, right? Especially when gimmicky digital tools have these incredibly short lifespan. In the software world you can go from the next big thing to this sucks in two weeks. What is the issue with persisting .pat files? Dude, they are so useful. They can be used in so many ways and then give me enormous control and they also are highly flexible and you can create a really good look and save it for future use. Why do you have to come through
When doing a dataset as files export photoshop makes sure that when using the data set name in the exported file name and there are multiple entries with the samen content the naming switches from the actual dataset content to the dataset index number as name component ie 'Data Set 10'.I presume that is wanted behaviour to prevent photoshop from overwriting multiple files with the same name.It would be even better if the duplicate name check would be run over the complete name composition including ie the data set numer as this can prevent duplicate naming and the actual data set content wouldn't need replacement in that case.
generative prefernce that allow me to use tools on generative areas without flattening first. Spot healing brush option- allow me to use the SHB on generative areas without flattening layers.
We constantly have to add products to stock imagery. Using the neural filters is great for getting the lighting and colour right, but the use of AI to 'place' in the scene realistically is limited. I am having to select the transition area and try to get AI to generate a better fill in the transition area as I don't want my product image to be changed. It would be a really useful addition for the sake of productivity if I could select an area, then select an image locally and ask the AI to place the chosen image in the selection area, matching lighting, colour and scale. In addition, the AI cannot replace colour or texture alone, it always replaces with the whole subject, and in many cases this is unsuitable as the trained images that replace are very US specific (cars, licence plates..etc.), if this could also be addressed, I think you have a superb tool.
Hi I'm using the contextual bar for a while now and I think it would be a good ideaof having the contextual bar in a window like adjustments or properties and can be included in your panels in the workspace. I would use it more and it would be distracting as some times you have to move it around because is distracting or it bothers me. But i thing teh bar is a great idea. Thanks for creating a great tool to work wiht and doing it easy and fast.
The title says it all really.I don't even really use it that much (I'm using Fresco) but I don't really understand why this feature isn't available in both modes (video timeline and frame animation). Unless there is a technical reason?Fresco manages it pretty well, and the workflow is similar than it would be with Photoshop. Thanks!
Lightrooms feature for precise color selection should be available in photoshop
Question, why hasn’t Adobe Photoshop programmers just throw in the towel. Let’s just redo, or rebuild Adobe Photoshop from the ground up. Since Adobe keeps adding and adding. And their so many bugs. Why hasn’t anybody asked.... the software has meant its quota! Let’s rebuild it. Your actions, filters, and functions are so outdated. Your not giving the users what they really want, or listening to the customers on how to improve the software. We all (customers) just post bugs, crashes, but never saying. “Photoshop is a really stable and awesome software to use! Thank you Adobe,” I haven’t seen that posted yet...Adobe Photoshop that was at its best...sadly to say this was Photoshop CS6. Software engineers worked all the bugs out, and mostly everyone was happy, until the roller over to rent to use software. It hasn’t been the same. You guys at Adobe need to overhaul Photoshop. Next MAX meeting.... just tell the customers that your working on the new updated Photoshop. Change the outda
I'd love a quick way to apply JPEG "noise" while editing. Often, when compositing an element into a digital photo, I'll attempt to match the grain and compression artefacts by adding noise to the new element, saving the flattened image as a JPG, and hoping for the best. If there was a way to apply that kind of compression and noise to a layer using the filter gallery—to mimic the effects of cell phones and other digital cameras and preview the results in real time—that would be ideal!
Allow extraction of smart object items. Currently you can rasterize the smart object - or manually drag the layers from the smart object back into the document - but it would be great if I could just select "extract objects". And what if the smart object has been resized? Then you can give the alert: This smart object has been scaled, would you like to extract the layers in their original size or in their scaled version? [Original] [Scaled] [ x ] Scale effects
Hello, I would like to suggest an implementation of friendly cursors for left handed people, not only on Photoshop but in all Adobe apps. Thanks in advance.
It's a great start but I would like to see some more options.
I've seen other ideas for content aware paste, similar to the harmonization Neural filter, but I'd like to see the AI-powered version. Basically, when I paste content into a document, I want to be able to "make it fit." I'm including an example of the kind of thing that would be a real break-through: Here we've got an office backdrop, and I've dropped a picture of a pedestal on a base into a new layer. The new object does not match the perspective and lighting of the background image. Traditionally, I'm in for a long night after a bit of perspective warping with some clone stamping and custom painting to fake bits of perspective. What about an AI powered set of tools? Can I "paste into" a selected region and have the image scaled and redrawn with an estimation of the correct perspective and lighting? Can I merge layers, adapting one to look at home in the other? --at present, I know I cannot. I asked Generative Fill to put in a Greek Vase on a stone pedestal and I got a
Is there any expectation in the foreseeable future to have motion blur and/or any of the blur filters/filter to be added to photoshop IPad? I think that adding more of the "filters" section from photoshop windows/mac to IPad would be a very large step for the IPadOS version of photoshop, but are there any digital limitations as to why the maybe haven't been added sooner?
FEATURE REQUEST Issue Photoshop 24.7 or later calculates the default font size based on document resolution and zoom factor. To disable this feature and return to the legacy behavior, set "DefaultFontSize 0" in PSUserConfig.txt. Disabling this in a config file does not work for me for a number of reasons listed below. Adobe Help Page https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/enable-optional-extensions-photoshop-cc.html#defaultfontsize Disable automatically setting default font size Required Text (sic) Compatibility # Disable automatically setting default font sizeDefaultFontSize 0 v24.7 or later Photoshop calculates the default font size based on document resolution and zoom factor. When a new document is created, or an existing document without type layers selected is opened, the font size will be reset to the newly calculated default font size. Also, the leading will be set to Auto. Previously, the
I use Generative Fill on a daily basis and marvel its ability to fill the area covered by the removed object, and is almost, flawles when working on landscapes such as placing grass in bare spots, or removing unwanted elements. However there are frustrating exceptions that Adobe support has worked on with me to no avail. For example, using the Lasso tool to remove an object in a room(which it does beautifully), except it replaces the removed object with an artifact object which not only doesnt look real, but in trying to remove it, it is replaced by an equally unreal substitute artifact object. Also in alternatively using the remove tool it replaces another artifact.I would like to suggest that Adobe generate a specific phrase or command that instructs GF not to replace a removed object with an artifact. Attached are two images, one with a stancheon and rope, and the second edited in GF with the stancheon and rope beautifully removed, but with an unwanted artifact sitting in the f
I would like a filter that enables me to engrave in a manner such as Franklin Booth or August Dore
I can't believe that there are AI image and content generation tools in photoshop, but scaling a layer down, then scaling it back up at some later time preserves the 'lower' resolution of the scaled down object and you just end up scaling up a blurry mess. I'm aware that making that image a smart object first is the right workflow and preserves all of the edits (and more, and it's awesome) but sometimes I do one off or non-production play files and I just work with flat layers. I think preserving the original image size (at least) would be great, if not, scaling up via simple AI pixel doubling tools would be even better so that if you're using a small image and want to pull out the resolution, you don't have to use other tools. Thanks!
I need to be able to adjust the image quality when I'm exporting / saving an image using Photoshop web version the same as the desktop version. Seems like an oversight to not have this basic image editor function in the web version. Otherwise I have to create the image in Photoshop, and then use another image editing software to reduce the file size to make it appropriate for websites.
As a digital artist I waste SO MUCH TIME scrolling through the new brush list. And then it wants to assign certain brushes to certain tools. The old one I could see 50 brushes at time and now im like doomed to scroll forevermore never seeing more than 7 options. I don't need to see the preview. JUST NIX IT!! USE THE ICONS!! It's SO FRUSTRATING.
Consider the following layer stack image: The bottom "original" layer and the middle layer "synced copy of original" are both embedded smart objects. Changing one changes the other as they are synchronised. Here I inverted the colour of one layer, therefore both synced layers are updated and inverted. The upper "unsynced new so via copy" layer is unsynchronised, therefore it didn't update when the original layer was updated. This is all good and by design. What I am suggesting is that there be some sort of visual representation to easily visually differentiate that one of these embedded smart objects isn't synchronised. Or conversely- only show the synchronised files with an icon or other visual attribute. Having to edit a smart object in order to see which layers are synchronised isn't ideal. Whatever the best method is, I'll leave for group discussion. :] So please upvote this original post if you agree that it would be us
