Photoshop (Beta)

A temporary fix for Photoshop beta 25. In Adobe Lightroom preferences as your second open as preference for open in go to program files/ adobe/ adobe Photoshop 2023/… and select Photoshop.EXE. To edit a file right click and edit in Photoshop.exe close it and it will save to Lightroom in my case I choose it to be save as a tiff file. Then right click and open in go to shop 2024. This is the better version and will now open. Do your work and close. Go back to Lightroom and if you see a window saying that it could not open go to File Explorer and get that tiff file that you just saved and move it. If you do not Photoshop beta will overwrite it and make a new TIF file and remove your edits. You can right click and synchronize the folders to get your file back in Lightroom and continue editing in Lightroom beta which now recognizes that file and will open it (for a while). Is that complicated enough for you? At least it's working for me.

I am using two monitors thru Separate HDMI connections. Win 10.Non Beta PS will allow me to switch entire window to either monitor. I am able to place individual images, and submenus on either screen. The Beta version home window can only be placed on one monitor; I can not move it to the other screen. I am able to place any submenu item on either screen. I can select an image frame and move it to either monitor.

Hello, for what ever reason, Quick export isn't working with the beta version; it works fine with the regular version of photoshop.

It should be nice if Adobe made a good tutorial over good/effective prompt structures for is own 'generative fill'.I guess that Adobe made its own system which requires other sorts of prompts then other AI Artgenerators.Ton

HiI upgraded to version 25.0.0 and for 90% of the time, Generative Fill is not working. It either reports that the service is not available or there is a problem (408).Also, selecting "Edit in Photoshop 2024" from Lightroom Classic, the requested file is not opened in Phtotshop.I have re-installed version 24.7 and everything is working fine.Kind regardsKeith Spencer

Hola, desde que hace unos días realicé dos actualizaciones en Photoshop Beta, el relleno generativo funciona realmente mal, es desesperante, por ejemplo yo llevo una imagen de Midjourney a PS BETA y quiero rellenar huecos de una oreja o labio...etc y no me deja me aparece el mensaje de "Las imágenes se han eliminado porque infringen las pautas del usuario" de verdad es algo que no entiendo, solo es una oreja, unos labios, o el boton de un traje... Además antes de las actualizaciones no me ocurría esto y podía trabajar bien mis imágenes y fotografías, he probado todo pero es imposible saber que puede estar ocurriendo ayuda, porfa. La foto que por ejemplo estoy manipulando con el relleno generativo es la siguiente que dejaré abajo aquí, no entiendo que tiene de malo esa imagen. Es solo un famoso, al igual que si cogo una foto de Google de por ejemplo Leo Messi si me deja rellenar, y esta no. No entiendo, hay partes de la imagen que me hace relleno generativo, otras no. AYUDA PORFAVO

Hi,I'm not using Photoshop beta because it's a clear version of Photoshop, without any custom workspace or setting.  Is there a way to bring settings and workspace from the current photoshop version into the beta version? Best regards,

Unable to save. I've tried exiting and repeatedly choosing all save options. Unable to save. It looks like I will be losing my creation.

When i try to use the generative fill, the loading bar appears and than goes away in 1 second. So I cannot use the generative fill feature.

photoshop beta v25.0 please see attached video.   Whenever I select a brush and hold the tablet pen to move it slightly, the behavior seems chaotic. It appears to switch to a brush point, and it doesn't function properly, just like what's shown in the attached video. However, this issue doesn't occur in Photoshop 2023(regular version). Is there any solution to this problem?

Bonjour.Depuis la dernière MAJ de photoshop Beta , les outils de sélection rectangle et colonne bogent , accompagnés par la taille des textes qui changent a l'usage ( Voir l'image ).Cela se produit depuis la mise sur Photoshop Beta de Generative Expand qui semble fonctionner parfaitement.Merci.José. 

 I have tried everything to fix this, uninstall and install, with other versions, reset preferences, log in and out multiple times, change age on behance. Nothing works, do you know how it could be solved?

I rarely used Photoshop Beta but I thought I would give it a try, It is up to date at version 24.1.0. When I launch it from the Creative Cloud app or InDesign nothing happens. When I launch from the Finder I get this message:   The application “Adobe Photoshop (Beta).app” can’t be opened.   I don't see others with the same problem. I would appreciate any help getting it to run.  

When I installed Photoshop Beta, it didn't carry over my settings from plain old Photoshop. That would have taken me a considerable amount of time to replicate (unless there is a file with that info that I could have copied over to Beta somewhere. Also, images that I clicked on opened with Beta. I could go to Get Info and change that back to Photoshop for all of the same image type, but it reverted to Beta after a few days for some reason. I had to remove Beta from my computer.

The transform tool has a bug related to the height value. While it changes correctly, the percentage value displayed in the height box is not accurate. Additionally, there is an issue with the font size in the height box, as it does not match the font size displayed elsewhere. You can take a look at the attached screenshot for reference.

Hello!We have a new feature that lets you quickly remove any object in your image with a dialog-free experience.  We've repurposed the [SHIFT] + [DELETE] and  [SHIFT] + [BACKSPACE] keys when in the Object Selection tool to act as a Content-Aware Fill command.  Additionally, we've added a bult-in pixel expansion so users can avoid halos without extra steps.    How to use one-click Delete and Fill Make a selection with the Object Selection Tool.   Press the [SHIFT] + [DELETE]  or [SHIFT] + [BACKSPACE] keys on your keyboard.     Only when the Object Selection tool  is active does the [SHIFT] + [DELETE] and  [SHIFT] + [BACKSPACE] keys work in this way.   ...or...   With any selection tool, Right Click or Ctrl+Click to see the context menu then choose "Delete and Fill Selection"         Result:  The Object Disappears!  The selection was automatically expanded

Whites appear green and browns become red etc. The whites would appear similair to #c7deaf to my eyes. The white background layer while bet set to #ffffff would appear green. This issue only occured while using HDR mode on my monitor. Colour pickers in photoshop and windows read the white on a white background yet to mine and others eyes it appears green. This problem only appeared in photoshop, after updating to 25.0 Beta. White would render as white in Google Colour Picker and webpages appear white to my eyes and the windows colour picker. I have since downgraded to version 24.7 where the issue is no longer present. 

After downloading the latest Beta version, all Save and Export functions aren't working.

For whatever reason I do not have the Betas category in my CC menu. Tech support could not help me resolve my issue. Is there anything else that I can do or is there a special aacount permission that I need?

HelloI subscribed to Photoshop today and downloaded both regular version and Beta version to my hP laptop via Creative Cloud (with success). Still, when I open the Beta version, it keeps opening the regular version, or, at least the "generative fill" in Edit is unavailable (light grey, cannot click). The top left corner of the app does not state "Beta" either, only PS.  Are you able to advise how can I open the Beta version properly? Thank you in advance for you help to this new user from Finland! Also, if you advise how to change the language of the Creative Cloud and PS and PS beta to English, that would be helpful, too. I searched from Google but could not do that either.   

 AI generative fill , loosing quality ? Hello, I'm new in photoshop AI and I have a question with the generative fill. When I ask the AI generate fill to do something to the picture (for example remove an object or clean the backdrop) the new generated part of the picture is of lower quality so you can see the original subject/objects grainy and the generated parts with AI look smoother so is very noticeable. I'm not sure if I'm explaining my self correctly but here is a picture of how it looks like , it would be very helpful if someone can please tell me how to prevent this or fix it. Thank you!
