Photoshop Elements

Bonjour. Je possède PSE 2024 sur mon Mac Studio qui fonctionne sous macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (Dernière version à jour) Mon soucis est que quand je veux accéder aux réglages de PSE 2024 celui ci plante.Je ne sais pas exactement depuis quand ce problème est présent parce que je ne modifie pas les réglages à chaque fois que j'utilise PSE 2024. J'ai fait la dernière mise à jour de PSE 2024 (20240321) et j'ai mis à jour également Camera RAW vers la version 16.0 pour traiter les fichiers DNG de mon nouvel iPhone.Cependant, je n'ai pas l'impression que ces 2 mises à jour sont liées à mon soucis. (?) Pour tenter de trouver une solution, j'ai utilisé Time Machine pour revenir à une date antérieure de PSE 2024 mais le problème demeure.J'ai ensuite désinstallé proprement PSE 2024 (avec l'outil de désisnstallation d'Adobe) et j'ai réinstallé complètement.Le problème est toujours présent, avec en plus le fait que j'ai perdu toutes mes préférences maintenant ... Pourriez vous m'a

I thought I was on the UK site buying Elements 24, but American English was the only language available.Now the program tells me I appear to be somewhere else, and suggests the UK site. (I am in UK) each time I start it.  Can I go somewhere and use my serial number to download an actual UK version if such a thing exists please? (Not a very experienced user, you may be able to tell!) Thanks

Just installed 2024 Photoshop elements and getting these error messages:'Could not use the saved application color settings because of a disk error. the default color settings are being used.''Could not complete the color settings command because of disk error'

When I go to print out the size picture, they do not even offer a 4 x 6 option, which is one of the most popular sizes for pictures.  I know there is a formula to make your own size, I read it somewhere.  Does anyone know how to do this?  I have PSE 2

If I wish to type in Sinhala using Photoshop Elements I always get an incorrect display or distortion. (I also get the same problem in CorelDraw.) The fonts only display correctly  in a word processor. So the only work around is to take a screenshot from Microsoft Word, then paste into a graphics software, trace to a vector and export as a png with transparency to use in PS Elements. I find this very inconvenient. Is there a way to make Sinhala (or maybe other Asian fonts) display correctly. Your advice would be appreciated.    Kind regardsChris Example: Correct text on top. Hi folks, long term user, love the products (PSE).  Amazingly, I am having trouble finding instructions to “process my eclipse RAW files” by merging my Canon “exposure bracketing” raw files into a single photo of totality.  I see a lot of dialogue on positioning the partial phases into a collage, but not much about the HDR like? Merge of multiple exposures of the corona during totality?  This video from Russell Brown (Eclipse Image Stacking Technique Part 1 (youtube.com) comes close, but appears tailored to Full version of Photoshop CC/Bridge.  I get lost (using local PSE23) trying to move from edited “Adobe camera raw” files back to the normal “non raw” PSE editor for further post processing.  PSE (23) does not have a “tools/photoshop/load files into photoshop layers (or even the quicker? HDR option?) menu option?  Russell goes on to recommend using  a “smart object and Mean” to complete the integration….Can I perform this merge in PSE or do I need P

I’m running Elements 21 on Windows 11, and I just noticed that I have 2 sets of most of my pictures.  A complete set is located at X:\Users\William\Pictures, and most of these pics are also located at X:\PSE X CATALOG\Users\William\Pictures. When I use Tags to search for pics in the Organizer, it gets them from X:\PSE X CATALOG\Users\William\Pictures - if they are there. If not, it gets them from X:\Users\William\Pictures.  Here are relevant portions of my file tree, with creation dates:X:\   PSE X CATALOG folder  (12/15/23)       MY CATALOG 2023  folder  (12/15/23)            CAXMPFiles folder            FaceAnalysis folder            WaldoData folder            Watch Folder folder    

In Photoshop Elements 13, when I try to open editor message keeps asking me to sign in.  After I sign in message keeps repeating.

Ho installato PS24 su un nuovo computer Asus ProArt, I9, 32 GB RAM , GPU GeForce 4070. Effettuo il ripristino da PSE21  a a PSE24 di un catalago che contiene anche dei file  *.CR2.  Questi files non vengono ripristinati perchè il programma chiede di installare camera raw.   Come indicato in Aiuto di Organizer,   procedo con l'nstallazione di camera raw. L'installazione fallisce.. Subito dopo Organizer non funziona più. In community sono riportati diversi problemi su PS24. Che cosa si consiglia?  Allego il file dell'errore.

Hi Everyone,I'm about to move my Elements 12 catalog and related files from a Windows 7 computer to a new Windows 11 computer with Elements 2024 on it.  Can someone tell me whether one of the following methods is better, or come up with something that is better I haven't thought of?1 - Open Elements 2024 on my new Windows 11 computer.  Plug in the backup drive for my photo files and run the Restore function on my most recent backup.tly file.2 - Copy the Catalog (and all the related folders I can find) from my old Elements 12 Windows 7 computer onto a new external hard drive).  Open Elements 2024 on the new Windows 11 computer.  Use the Convert function on the old Elements 12 Catalog.3 - Copy the Catalog (and all the related folders I can find) from my old Elements 12 Windows 7 computer and photos stored on my external photo file drive onto a new external hard drive).  Open Elements 2024 on the new Windows 11 computer.  Try to find and Open t

Ok, not even sure where to start. I use to have Photoshop (Paid Version). Long story short, laptop crashed years ago and I am just now getting back into it. How do I recover the program and the code?  Also, my father had Photoshop, lightroom and a few others. He passed 2 years ago. Is there any way for me to take over his account/programs? Thanks, Jeff

Is there any way (either inside photoshop elements or with another utility) to change the directory path for (a large number of) photos ... they are all in dated subdirs of a directory that contains a char in its name (and apostrophe) that I've discovered is probably causing photoshop problems ... so I just want to rename this dir and the update the catalog so that it references the new dir name.I'm using photoshop elements 14 on windows 10

The lasso icon disappeared on my screen. How can I get this back?

I’ve used various Photoshop versions for years. My old Photoshop 13 works fine on an old laptop, but for a new Windows 11 notebook Adobe obliged me to purchase Photoshop Elements 23, which has made quality printing impossible. The Change Settings and then Advanced Settings bring up a very impoverished menu. No utilities option, no ability to change the quality of printing, only two printing paper options (matt or glossy) make quality printing impossible. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed 23, removed and added my Epson Photo R2000 printer, and updated Epson printer drivers. No change. Any suggestions? After decades, I’m ready to leave Photoshop for a better company/product.

Hi, maybe someone can help me with this.  I did not found any post stating a similar problem.  I imported from a SD card to a network drive photos from the eclipse on a timelapse (regular RAW and JPEG, nothing else).  Somehow, the computer did not finish the import.  Every time I open Element organizer, program tells me it will update the catalog after the file import and just hangs fors hours with no results.  I tried the cancel button, but that does not work either.  I reinstalled the program, and it keeps doing the same pattern.  When I install the program on a different computer, there is no problem.  I tried reinstalling the 2018 versiion of the program on the first computer running on Windows 10, and it works well.  I tried suppressing all keys in the registry related to the 2020 version, and it does not solve the problem.  There is something in the computer somewhere that tell Element organizer 2020 to start that endless loop and

I've used various versions of PSE for years, and have never had a problem with metadata not being included when using the Exporting as New Files command.When I tried this command with PSE 2021, some files had the metadata included, but most did not.I then tried to use the Save Metadata to File command. A message would appear that the metadata had been saved, but it lies, and the metadata is not saved.My OS is Windows 10, 64 bit.Can anybody suggest a solution?

Hi everyone,I am currently trying to add and edit specific shapes to my images. However, adding color and a stroke to the shape does not appear to be working. I have added an image to illustrate this: when I try to add a red circle, the circle remains white (and note that the circle does become red in the thumbnail in layers). I tried specifying the color both in the toolbox menu at the bottom of the screen and by clicking the thumbnail in layers twice, and neither did the trick. I have no specific layers switched added.Also, the function stroke appears to be disabled.I was wrong if I'm doing anything wrong, or perhaps if some of my settings are wrong? I am currently working in the 30-days trail of Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor of 2019.

Wieder mal ein Problem bei neuen Versionen: diesmal werden korrekt eingegebene Umlaute im IPTC-Formular trotz ebenfalls korrekter Voreinstellung bei Land/Region = Deutschland prompt verfälscht. So wird z.B. aus "Zürich" nun "Zürich". Und was extrem ärgerlich ist: erst beim Vorgang "Mehrere Dateien verarbeiten" wird dies sichtbar, so dass ich in allen editierten Fotos solche fehlerhaft umgesetzten Umlaute vorfinde. Auch mit der Folge, dass überall eine doch recht umständliche Überarbeitung der Datei notwendig wird. Da werden für ja nicht wenig Geld recht unsinnige Spielerein (Beispiel "Wasserfall", denn entweder mache ich Fotos oder Videos, jedenfalls keine Pseudo-Videos) vermarktet, aber viele sinnvolle Funktionen bleiben unverändert auf der Strecke. Auch dazu in Beispiel: die echt mangelhafte Suche nach Dubletten, also ähnlichen Fotos.

Hi, I have no idea how, but when I opened Elements Organizer today on my Macbook, it was empty. I have had varios versions of Elements for many years and have several thousand photos, well organized and tagged. May hours of work. My photos seem to all be intact in my photos library. I have a backup from not too long ago, but I was wondering if I can use Time Machine which is more recent to get everything back?  What would make my catelog dissapear? I just used it a couple days ago and it's really bugging me how this could have happened. Any ideas?  Thank you in advance to anyone responding 🙂

I cannot open the editor photo in Photoshop Elements 2024. As soon as I try to open it, the following message appears:your application is dynamically linked with Intel(R) libraries version 2021.6 (r0xbffe3c5b). No DLL from the list below is found on the system search path:ippcvy8.dll (the most suitable for your CPU);ippcvn8.dl (optional);ippcvn7.dll (optional).Please take note that I have still installed in my PC the previous version (2021) of Photoshop Elements and Premiere. Until a short time ago, PS Eements worked properly.

Suddenly, I cannot open the Photo Editor in my Adobe Photoshop 2024.  I attach the two messages I am receiving.  I see no way to “designate a DLL” like they say I’m supposed to.
