Photoshop Elements

This evening, I tried to work on some already processed color JPEG images in PS Elements 2024 and they always opened at B&W images in Camera Raw. I tried going into Preferences and did a reset before relaunching Elements and the results and this did not correct this problem.

The tools in the tool panel are too small and the color was removed making it more tedious too select and pick options for the tools. I don't know the reason for the change but in my mind the older versions did this better.

When I try to edit a photo in PS Elements 2024, I get the following error message: "Could not initialize Photoshop Elements because the disk is full."  What should I do?

I have just bought the photoshop elements 24 upgrade, but my accouint shows I have bought premiere elements, even though I paid the PSE upgrade price. When I try to activate PSE 24 from within the premiere app, it says my serial number in the account screen is invalid, presumably cos its for Premiere, not PSE. I'm stuck - what to do? Any help appreciated.

Servus, suche dringend hilfe für mein problem. Komponenten meines PCs:MB:Aorus Z390 ProCPU:Intel I9 9900K 3,6GHzNetzteil: be quiet 1200W 80+ Platinum Grafikkarte: Geforce RTX 3070ich habe 2 MSI Monitore(Optix G27CQ4) und (Optix G24C)Einer davon wird leider immer wieder schwarz(MSI Optix G27CQ4) und zeigt an das er kein signal mehrhat,das passiert zu ganz unterschiedlichen Zeiten. Mal nur 1x im Monat aber auch mal Öfters am Tag.Der Andere Monitor(MSI Optix G24C) hat diesen Fehler nicht und funktioniert Problemlos.Versuche schon Probiert:-Kabel getauscht DP/HDMI;Treiber gewechselt;Grafikkarte getauscht zu einer Rtx 1660 Ti; Einen anderen Monitor ausprobiert (Msi Optix MAG271CQR); Kompletten Pc Reset gemacht Zudem Hatte ich gedacht es läge an der Grafikkarte und hatte sie ein geschickt zur Reperatur.-Diese kam zurück und mir wurder gesagt es passt alles an ihr. Ich hoffe, das hilft. Fühlen Sie sich frei, Fragen zu stellen und mich auf dem Laufenden zu halten.

 Ho installato Phptoshop elements 2024 senza rimuovere la versione 2021. Successivamente ho eseguita la conversione del catalogo in Organizer 2024. Nelle cartelle dei file multimedia le foto sono state replicate in  "Nome Foto"-1.jp. Se apro il catalo 2021 mi vengono mostrate quelle "nomeFoto-1. Come eliminare dalle cartelle foto quelle replicate?

Is there a Pen add anchor point tool in PS Elements 2024? I can't find it?

Hi!I used Photoshop elements since 2019 on my MacBook Pro. Last week I changed to a new MacBook Air.Now Photoshop Elements no longer starts. What is wrong and what can I do? Thank you!

I'm using Photoshop Elements 2024 on macOS, and can save and overwrite PSD files just fine.However, when I go to save over a jpg, png (or possibly other formats too) it'll give me a Replace option, but upon selecting it, it'll still create a copy leaving the original untouched.

Warum sehe ich nach dem Import eines Ordners mit vielen Bildern ca 90000 diese nicht im Katalog. Im Importfenster läuft alles durch, was auch ewig dauert, im Organizer Katalog sehe ich aber kein einziges Bild. Es wird anscheinend alles verworfen. Sind alles normale Jpg Dateien.  

I can edit in all the editors, but it will not put it in a new layer once I am finishing editing. When I edit in NIK then press the OK button, a new Photoshop Elements icon flashes on my task bar. The NIK collection will work and edit in LRC. What did I do wrong or is anyone else have/had this issue. Thank You

Habe gerade Elements 24 installiert. Leider wird das Format webp immer noch nicht unterstützt. Kann mir einer sagen warum? Oder gibt es ein Plugin dafür. Kann aber keines finden.

Hello. I just installed Photoshop Elements2024. I already had previous versions of this program installed and I have this problem:When trying to import an image by opening it with CameraRaw, the program crashes and I have to restart it. The only way for it to work normally when importing raw is to install CameraRaw in each session, then the Adobe Photoshop Elements Add-on Utilities2024 window appears and warns me that "a previous installation of this product has been found. This product is will be installed in its original location".  The installation finishes and the program starts again to work normally, until the next start in which I must repeat the operation. I will appreciate any assistance in this regard. Thank you.

Hi - I have a PC with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz & windows 11 pro. I understand this is not enough to install PS Elements 2024 as it is 4th generation!  Surely I am wrong, Why would Adobe want to limit customers?

I am a 59-year-old business owner and I had a Photoshop subscription for over 3 years, I tried to learn how to do image retouching and so on without success. I could only resize my pictures. In the end, I decided to cancel my prescription because I wasn't using the full benefit.I came across an Adobe Element 6 software with the serial number I had for 22.  I wanted to use the resizing option only, nothing else. I have tried to upload it and running but I have a warning message that I need to contact ADOBE. I did so but no one from the technical department wanted to help., or advise me on how to successfully install the software which was provided by ADOBE  and legally bought 22 years ago. This product does not have an expiring date on it, so I do not understand why I can't use it again. I just need your opinon or help if this is okay with this community as ADOBE technical department has a lack of emphaphy Thank for those who will take the time to read this mess

I recently purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024, in part for its inclusion of the option to auto select backgrounds and subjects. I tried out the feature recently after photographing several model boats at our local maritime museum, and was disappointed in the results. The Select Background and Select Subject tools would outline the boat model but sometimes did not include the base or stand (or all of it) it rested upon, outline the boat model but not include the rudder and propeller (it followed the hull outline), outlined the leading edge of the sail but missed the mast stay line just ahead of it or jumped between the two halfway down the sail, would get very confused by models with rigging but no sails (select part of a rigging line and then jump to another and reverse direction), etc. My question for the community is, "Is there a way to refine a segment or portion of the selection once the program has performed its automated selection in Photoshop Elements 24?" What am I doing wrong?  I want to modify or replace the color in a selection, so I make the selection, create a new layer, and try to replace the color from the Enhance menu.  I get the message " can't do it because no pixels are selected."  The selection is OK; I can see the marching ants.  The same happens when I try other color adjustments and probably other adjustments as well.  Would appreciate some help.  Many thanks.

The rectangular marquee tool has suddenly switched to being round - how do I get out of this?

I am using PSE 2023 on Windows 11. I recently took some shots with my Nikon D7200 camera and AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm, 1:4.5-5.6 lens in manual exposure mode: ISO 200, shutter 1/1000, aperture f/8.0, focal length 300mm. The Organizer Information reports the correct ISO and shutter speed, but an F-stop of f/4.50, Aperture Value f/4.50, Max. Aperture Value f/1.00, and a Focal Length of 70.00 mm. Any thoughts?

How do you open, view and edit multiple images in PSE 2024 in the same workspace? In PSE 11 we could open multiple PDFs and blank files and view in the same workspace. 

When I use the Change Background feature in Elements 2024...and you find a photo on REPLACE BACKGROUND...from the Adobe Photostock button (suppose to be free in Element 2024) the backgrond pops in..but it won't save for you to use it..and you have to cancel and the backround goes away. I've tried everything.What am I doing wrong? HELP

My friend is making a major change from Photoshop Elements 2006 on a Windows 7 OS laptop to Photoshop Elements 2018 on a Windows 11 OS laptop.  She has about 20,000 photos - 95% of which are tagged and in catalogs.QUESTION:  Is there any way the images with associated tags can be imported and function in the new version of Photoshop elements given the photos were transferred as jpeg images from Windows Explorer.Thank you,MAV

When downloading raw files from camera to photoshop elements, two files of the same image are in Organizer. Why two?

Hello all, I have recently upgraded to Photoshop Elements 2024, and I'm missing a useful option in Camera Raw. In Photoshop Elements 2018 I have an option to "Save new Camera RAW standards". In PS Elements 2024 this option has disappeared. There is only "Use previous settings" (translated from German). However, this is not the same because previous settings could be anything but not the ones I'd want to use on each new picture. And adjusting all the settings from scratch for the majority of pictures will be very cumbersome! Does anybody have a solution to this issue?

I have been using Photoshop Elements 8 for several years on my Windows 10 PC.  Now, all of a sudden, my videos won't play. They are simple videos from my Samsung S23. They played just fine for years, although they were jerky. Now I receive an error message: "Your system does not have the required compressor/decompressor (codec) installed." Help!
