Photoshop Elements

Does anyone know if there are known compatibility issues with PE9 and Windows 11?  Worked fine under W10, but with W11, it seems to be crashing our installs and we have to reimage any PC we install it on.

Hi! I currently use Elements 2014. I Have just got me a new Camera (Canon EOS R7) that gives a new format (CR3) on the raw files. It seemes that My Elements version don't like these raw files, i guess it is the Camera Raw program that don't match. Do I have to update to a newer Elements version or can I down load a newer version of Camera Raw? Which version should I update to to get handling of the new raw format CR3? Hello, Organizer 2021 won't dispaly .mov files (captured with Iphone 12). Windows Photo does display them, so I guess it is not a missing codec issue. Can you help? Many thanks.

My 2nd try to get help. Have narrowed problem down. I use Win 11, run PhotoShop Elements 21. Original pics stored in Explorer by year. When I import from files and folders additional pics for any year, a 2nd folder with that year is created. That leaves me with 2 folder, same name. So my pics for that year are not all in the same place. The problem comes when I drag pics from 2nd folder to the 1st. Everything is still fine in the Organizer, but the pics have disappeared from Explorer (and from One Drive where I baack up). Sometimes, they are in Explorer Recycle; they are in OneDrive recycle. I have recreated this scenario many times b/c I couldn't believe it is happening. But it is. Any ideas? Any work-arounds? I still have several hundred photos I need to import. Chat help says support is not available for 2021, so you are my only hope.

I bought Photoshop Elements 10 years ago.  The computer I used for this program crashed.  Now, I need to install it in a Macbook pro m1.  But I don´t have the purchase original email.  I already contacted Adobe but they gave me no option. I don´t have a link, serial number or purchase number. What can I Do? Thanx.

Have wrked on this 2021 elements version for wo years and it has been great.Last week it would not open and I was asked to try a 30 day free option which I signed as I needed the pics for business that day.How can I get my original disc to work it is downloaded on the computer and I bought the disc in 2021I still have it so I do not nedd a free 30 day trial to buy again

photoshop elements organizer 10 changed every photo i have (thousands) into a thumbnail quality version and i can't get quality of photos back. any ideal how to fix. would a upgrade help fix this issue? all photos taken in RAW format. windows 10

After using Photoshop Elements 2023 on Windows 11 for some weeks, the photo editor suddenly doesn't load anymore. The problem appeared on my laptop as well on my pc. Is there a problem in the software? Do other people have the same problem?

I have just tried to open the Editor and when I did all of the menu selections are very large. Cannot see the entire editor screen. 

Dear PSE Community, I've just upgraded from PSE 18 to 23 and have spent most of the day importing my images into the new version.  However, I noticed once the import had completed that the zoom view within organizer does not work properly.  The grid view is fine and i can see all my images in each folder, but when i zoom in to max or double click on an image then i see a grey box with a question mark.  Any ideas what's going on here on how i might fix it? Many thanks - Pete

Hello, I have an issue where Photoshop Elements Editor won't open twice. First time you start the programm it launches just as it should do and when you close the programm and try to launch it again it just does't load at all. You can see the Task in Taskmanager briefly and then it goes away.I checked if Regkeys are changing after launching the programm and yes they do but I haven't been able to find a key thats responsible for this. I'm using Photoshop Elements Editor 17.0 in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops. Win10 1607

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2023. I installed it and it was successful. The organizer works great but when I try to open the photo editor, it first tells me that I need to sign in. When I click that screen, it takes me to a screen to download Elements 2023. I went through the process of downloading Elements 2023 again but it still does not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but that didnt help.   

I plan to sell photos that I manipulated in Photoshop Elements  2023. Does Adobe give me the right to do that when I buy Photoshop Elements for 99 Dollars? Do I have to consider something?

Using "File / Manage Catalogs...", I tried renaming my catalog (which is in custom location), but I get an error saying that it is open in another app and can't be renamed.  The only app I have open is Organizer. What is wrong? The Adobe Elements catalog has always seemed very unweildy to me, but since I just upgraded to 2023, I'm trying to get a better handle on to manage it better.

My PSE9 is opening my images with a black border around them. It's like they're opening in a new window. The border includes the maximize/minimize/full screen option at the top right. I can enlare it by dragging it but then when I get it large enough the tools nor the horizontal scroll bar show which I need. I absolutely HATE it! I'm a digital scrapbook designer so I'm on my PSE9 several hours daily. Can anyone tell me how to get it to open image files the way it used to? Your help is greatly appreciated. This is my job so it's important to me.

Hallo, ich hoffe es kann mir jemand helfen. Ich scrappe digital und erstellen Layouts mit Fotos.  Gibt es eine Möglichkeit in Photoshop Elements die Funktion auszuschalten damit ich nicht nach jedem kleinen Arbeitsschritt bestätigen muss dass dieser auch ausgeführt wird.  z.B. ich ziehe ein Foto groß, muss dies mit abhaken bestätigen. Ich schneide etwas aus, muss dies mit abhaken bestätigen etc. Das kostet soviel Zeit und ist extrem nervig.  Vielen Dank für die Hilfe  

I recently upgraded my laptop from a 2014 Macbook Pro to a 2022 Macbook Air. I made a one-off purchase of Photoshop Elements in 2018, which is still there in my Adobe account and available to download. However, when I try to download it onto my new laptop a message comes up saying ""Install" needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."Does anyone know if there is anyway I can download Elements without having to switch to a monthly payment plan?Thanks in advance!

How do I save a custom crop size in PE 16? Ie 16x10........I know how to do it until I change the size, then I have to redo the size everytime. Running Windows 10.

Hello! I use PS Elements 2022 and am having a problem editing for Instagram. My camera is a Canon 5D Mark 3 and I have it set at MRaw & L Jpeg. In PS Elements, I always set my dimensions at 2500px (something my web guy told me to do to ensure that the photos look good on my site). According to Instagram, they automatically resize the photos if they're not the right size, so I have no idea why this is happening. Is there something I can do in PS Elements to fix the problem? I tried resizing, but it distorted the image. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Attached is the photo I tried to upload to Instagram as well as a screenshot of the way Instagram cropped it. Thank you!! 🙂

Hello Gals and Guys -   I have Photoshop Elements 2021.  When I have the crop tool selected and open a files, it does not put cropping guidelines in.  I can just select the area I want and click check, but if I have a different tool selected and then hit crop, it puts the guidelines in, which usually are in the sport I'd least like to have them.  Is it possible to click the crop button and not have the guidelines show up?  Thanks for any help.   [Moderator has replaced link with image]
