Photoshop Elements

Hi, the Photo Editor on my Elements 2021 won't open. Error message states that the scratch disk is full. I set the scratch disk to be an exterbal hard drive which has masses of free space so that can't be right. I'm on Windows 10. Online solutions all say open Edit/Preferences/Performance to check settings but when I open Edit/Preferences in Organiser there is no tab for Performance. Please help!

Hallo,ich habe einen neuen Rechner und wollte mein Photoshop Elements 2015 auf dem neuen Rechner aktivieren. Hierzu habe ich die Installationsdatei über mein Konto runtergeladen und installiert. Bei der Eingabe der Seriennummer bekomme ich leider eine Meldung, dass die Serienummer schon zu oft verwendet wurde. Ich soll ein aktiviertes Gerät deaktivieren. Leider wird mir auf meinem Account kein aktiviertes Gerät angezeigt. Was kann ich tun? GrußJens

I have about 30 images with text layers of maybe 250 words each. I need to convert them to doc or txt files. OCR is a solution but not a good solution because it always has many errors.  Is there an app (maybe third-party) that will quickly extract all the text?

I reinstalled Photoshop Elements 2021 on a new Windows 11 computer. On my old computer, all my photos were on drive E, but they're now on drive C. I've reinstalled PE 2021, loaded my old catalog, but all the catalog photo references are to drive E.  Is there any way to quickly reconnect all my photos to their new location on drive C? Doing it one by one would take forever.

Is this possible?  I want to tilt a photo backwards a bit to make it look level to the ground.  Free rotate doesn't do the job. Thanks.   Moving to correct forum... Moderator

I downloaded Photoshop Elements 2020. It tells me there is a free dupdate to fix bugs.I get a conflict error code 131. I could not easily find a community reply on this subject

I try to backup my Elements catalog, containing about 20 000 pictures. But it stops when it encounters a corrupt file. I delete the file and remove it from the catalog, and try another backup. Then it finds another corrupt file, and the backup stops once more. I have done this about 20 times, each time it takes about 25 minutes before it stops (about 90 % of the backup is done), and still there are corrupt files. Very annoying! Is there a way in Elements to find all the corrupt files (I have tried to rebuild all the thumbnails - but no report of corrupt files after rebuilding), or maybe in a program outside Elements? 

Diese Fehlermeldung wird nach Installation angezeigt. Programm lief vorher tadellos, ließ sich dann nicht mehr starten. Nach Neuinstallation kam diese Fehlermeldung. AV-Schutz war bei Installation deaktiviert.

Meine Frage betrifft Elements Organizer: Kann ich sämtliche dort angelegten Alben als normale Windows-Ordnerstruktur exportieren bzw. auf eine externe Festplatte kopieren. Dort möchte ich sie dann (OHNE den Organizer!) als Bilddateien, welche in Ordner (die den vormaligen Alben entsprechen) gespeichert sind. Ich frage für meine Mutter, die Hunderte von GB an Fotos in Elements hat, die ich als Dateien außerhalb von Organizer aber nur in einem EINZIGEN, unsortierten Riesenordner sehe!! Wäre um Hilfe oder Tipps sehr froh!

Just saw that Apple has updated their new operating system to macOS 13.0 Ventura. I have been using Photoshop Elements 2022 on my Macbook Pro 2021 with the M1 chip, running the macOS Monterey (current version 12.6) with no problems.I am concerned that once I upgrade my Mac operating system to macOS 13.0 Ventura, that Photoshop Elements will not work. Does anyone have an answer or advice for me? I will hold off on upgrading my macOS until I can be more certain but would appreciate advice from experts.Thanks! 

Habe mit dem Downloader folgendes Problem: Kamera und KartenleserIn den „Voreinstellung“ habe ich eine Haken gesetzt bei:„Nur neue Dateien importieren (bereits importierte Dateien ignorieren)“ Trotzdem werden von der Kamera/Karten stets sämtliche Dateien importiert,also auch diese, die schon importiert sind. Was kann ich tun um das Importieren der bereits importierten Dateien zu verhindern ?Das Fenster im Downloader "duplizieren" ist grau und lässt sich nicht anklicken.

I bought Photoshop Elements 2019 a few years back and want to download it on my new computer. I have it on my laptop but no longer have the PC that I downloaded in 2018. How do I get it to download on my new PC without having to buy it again?

How do we export single objects or groups of selected objects in a multi-layer image?

My eight year-old computer just died. Good thing I had backed up most of my photos on an external hard drive. The only problem is I'm not really sure where to download it. The new computer has Windows 11. Do I down load to the computer or straight into Elements (if that is even possible)? There's like 22,000 files so I want to get it right the first time. I'm pretty much computer illiterate. If any one has any suggestions, I sure would appreciate it!

I would like to be able to have a full screen viewer that shows the selected photo in organizer.  It is a pain to click between the large and small views (especially since you refuse to fix the mouse down bug I reported 2 years ago that resets your filter selections FREQUENTLY).  In addition to editing usefulness, it would be nice to show photos to others with the second viewer displayed on a TV or something and the Organizer grid on my monitor.  Sort of like Presenter mode in PowerPoint.

Hi,I've downloaded the trial version of Photoshop Elements 2023 for Mac and I'm running Mac OS 13.1 Beta on an M1 MBP. The Elements home app opens OK but when I select "Photo Editor" it starts up and immediately crashes leaving a totally empty window behind. Very occasionally I see a "sign in required" message before the crash and once I actually got to try and enter my username but it froze then crashed after a single character. I have rebooted and tried it, I have uninstalled and redownloaded - all the same. Any help much appreciated. I see several other similar posts but no solutions. I don't get any crash log or anything obvious like that.     Thanks!

I've been a user of Photoshop Element, Premiere Elements, and Organization  2022, and now 2023.  However, I still have the same issue.  When I try to import many photos and videos into Organizer the RAM usuage keeps going up until the system crashes.  I wish I could just import 1000+ pictures/videos at one time.  Sometimes it works and others it crashes with a little as 250 short clips. I confirmed Photoshop Elements is set to limit RAM at 70% (45GB), but Organize goes right through those limits.  I turned off Auto Creations and Facial Recognition, just to help reduce usuage.   Any recomendations on controlling the RAM and preventing the PC from crashing? PC:AMD Ryzen 9 7950XAMD Radeon RX 6950 XTCorsair Vengeance DDR5 64GB (2x32GB)

Bonjour,le zoom et dézoom avec des photos TIFF HD est d'un lenteur magistrale !Dans photoshop Element 2013 cela se passait très bien, la rapidité et le confort était au rendez-vous, avec l'édition 2023 c'est vraiment pénible, lent et source d'erreur de travail.le zoom maximal dans une photo est très très lent, ainsi que le dézoom pour revenir à la vue générale de la photo.Il faut trouver une solution.

I dont like the new RAW software in Elements 2023. It was very good and easy on my old 2019 version.I had to update for my new camera Fuji X-H2. And even so RAW file was not supported on the version 2023. It took me 2days and nights to figure out how to get RAW support.Eventually I succeeded after diving deep in my Windows11 data. And how disappointed I was about the RAW software. Why change a winning team ???

Conversion failed wth the following error in  'pse-conversion-log_My Catalog PSE 11.txt''An error was encountered in the sqlite database: UNIQUE constraint failed: db_change_timestamp_table.change_idconversion log: Conversion Failed'I tried opening the catalog file in DB Browser for SQLite. Looking at the db_change_timestamp_table, there are no duplicate change_ids, so I'm not sure why this error would be happening.

I have Photoshop Elements 2018 operating on a PC with Windows 10. I use it to organize my photos and to place them in various albums.  I always add a caption and notes to each picture when I load them into elements and then associate them with various albums that I have.  Recently it started giving me an error message when trying to add a note or caption.  Also when I add new photos they do not show up anywhere.  I am at a lost to what is going on.

Will camera raw version 15 work with photoshop elements 2023?

Just bought the product last month.  Upgraded from Photoshop Elements 8 and on the new product, every photo I have edited is showing in the "File" menu under "Open Recently Edited File in Editor".  There must be a way to change this in preferences, but I'm unable to figure it out 

I have started to learn Photohop in one version (the one with the symbol Ps).Now I have bought a license for Photoshop Elements 2022, but didn't realize that they were quite different from each other. My problem:I am attending an online course concerning the first version mentioned (Ps).Will I even be able to follow the course with this version of the program (Photoshop Elements 2022)?They look really different and the menues seem to not quite agree. /Linnea
