Photoshop Elements

adobe elements 2020 using windows 10want to use seagate external drive and card reader together to place photos taken from my Nikon D600 want to directly have photos go on external drive immediately then downloaded  into organizerexplain import to? verus export from or to?do the photos go to hard drive on computer then into organizer? (pictures?)what are the steps ? saw lower left the word (skip) do not understand?do not want lost photos /grayed out so the photos are not foundas ir imports where are the photos going from the card reader?

Normally I receive notifications about updating to the new Elements, which appears on my Orgainzer.  Not this year, no special offers appear.  Also, if I click Updates in Help nothing happens.  Thanks. 

When I open Photoshop Elements with one of my catalogs I get the following message.  If I try to run Optimize or Repair the my computer freezes! Any suggestions?  

I planned on buying Elements 2023 (after the free trial and possibly upgrading to "the best of the best software" with the monthly charge, but if this is how Adobe treats new customers than why would I want to give them my business? Good companies make sure new customers have a good experience because they want a good reputation and to gain long-term customers. Bad companies just leave it up to customer to find problems and then make it difficult to get help. If this trial doesn't work on my 2020 Win11 laptop and Adobe Photoshop doesn't care, than why would I have anything to do with Adobe? It's NOT a free trial of software, it's a free headache that makes you want nothing to do with Adobe. Why would I want to pay a company $20-50 a month when their products don't work and they make it so difficult to get help? You mayt have a great product, but how would I know?I can't even try it!

As a long time Picasa user I was now ready to make the switch to a new photo management app. PSE was the only one not hurting my eyes so I gave it a shot. However, so far it has been far from perfect and I experienced a lot of issues:- Folders are only sorted alphabetically, no option to change the sorting.- Importing from iPhone re-imports the same pictures over and over again, start an import and it will import x pics, unplug, re-import again (now it should be 0 to import) and it will import y pics and so forth. I mean this is basic functionality and should work really well.- Videos imported from iPhone are attributed the date of importation not the day shot.What am I missing?

Hello, I have Elements 6 running fine on MacOS Sierra 10.12, but it won't recognize the CR2 raw files from my Canon XSi which is an old camera, it should know that file. I downloaded the DMG update installer from adobe for Camera Raw 11 I think it was, it was listed to work with Sierra 10.12. I clicked on the PKG file, and it installed sucessfully, but Element 6 is not able to open the raw files. What step did I missed, or is there a trick to get this to work. On the adobe site I found a instructions to go under the library/support files/adobe/cc/something something, to copy the updated file and pasted on the Element file type folder which doesn't exist, so I have no where to paste it. Any help will be greatly apreciated.

How (step by step)  do you replace sky around trees in Elements 2019?

Hello, I have an Canon Powershot G1 X Mark II. I am shooting mostly Raw (CR2) and sometimes JPEG or Mov.When I importing theese files from camera the import dialog find all files two times. On the Card there are no copies! After Import i have the original file and the same file with -1 in the filename. Example: Filename-1.cr2.I have to delete all *-1.* files by hand the look for missing files in the organizer to clean up the organizer. My Version is the 2021.2  RegardsIngo

Hello, I have Photoshop elements 2019 installed on my PC. I would like to also be able to use this on a new windows laptop I have purchased. I tried to contact [non-Adobe website removed] but could not find an email address for them.   Can anyone please explain what I must do to get my Elements working on my new laptop please? Please could someone tell me how to resolve this? I opened other piece of software and Photoshop Elements 2022 minimised. When I maximised it again, the second menu bar has now become too small in height to read properly and nothing I can see will retify this. See screen shot. Many thanks!

In PSE2020 (Win10) how can I move photos from one location to another location in the same folder? Photos were imported from two different cameras and show one set of photos by date and then starts over with the other set by date. I'd like to integrate them.      {Title edited by Moderator}

I am considering changing from using a pc to a mac. I currently have pse 19 on my pc. Can I change it over to a mac? Also, my pc has all of my pictures (30,000!) stored on the hard drive, but the mac won't have the storage for that. If I move the pictures to the Apple Cloud, will I be able to access them through my PSE on my mac? And will all of my metadata and tags transfer over? As you can imagine, with 30K pictures I rely heavily on that to be able to find what I'm looking for. I just want to make sure I don't regret making the change to a mac.  Thank you!

Can't figure out a Win 11 (22H2) setting that is causing blacked out sections in Adobe Photoshop Elements Version: 20.0 (20220702.Git.dot.b9b2853) x64.  

I have Elements 2020. Everytime I use the Magnetic Lasso it freezes my laptop or crashes it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Elements...nope. I deselected the "Use Graphics Processor" and have the cursor set to Standard which in other forums a lot of people say worked for them...did not work.

I am using PSE 2023 and have accidentally created duplicate "people" that can be assigned to images. The people display (the circled faces) does not list these errors as it only shows faces and not the text people lable I have accidentally created.  The problem is shown below - I need to delete the text0only entries with the name "Ruth" and "ruth"

Hi, Adobe updated for me today, but it has caused me major problems. I have been adding logos onto multiple PNGs, up until this update I have been able to drag them from files in batches and have them all open and just be adding a logo to them one by one. saving closing onto the next one... Since today I have been unable to do this... it now opens the camera raw where I can see all the images but when I press enter it only opens one of the images and closes the rest off. suppose there is a way to stop the raw camera opening? as this is increasing how long it is going to take me to do my job tenfold. 

I used Adobe photoshop in the past to create slideshow. It's  been several years so I upgraded to Elements 2023. I find where the program will create a slideshow for me, but I want to customize with additional text slides and my music, but can't figure out how to fo it. Is this no longer an option or am I missing it? 

I received and error message when I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 to my laptop. I use this on my iMac Desktop and have no problem.How do I find the install update? 

After installing Elements 2020 on my Windows10 computer the system came with the message of missing MSVCP140.DLL and VCRUNTIME140.DLL. and the app. won't start.      {Thread title edited by moderator}

PSE 2021 file naming issue: Editing a series of related photos, I name the first one when I "save as". That name should appear automatically when I "SAVE AS" the next photo and  append a unique word to differentiate the file.Example: First photo is saved as  "Birthday Party May12-cake". Saving the second photo should bring up that text onn the file name line/field and all I have to do is to change the word cake to, say, "balloons".  That's been  the behavior w/all edition of elements I have ever used.Now, however, when I SAVE AS, the expected text flashes on the file line for a half a second, disappears and I have to retype everything. The only place I can think of to check for a behavior like this is Preferences and there's no preference that might affect the SAVE AS action. It's a small but significant annoyance. Any clues out there? Anyone have the same issues?

1) The buttons don't work in Organizer.2) No option to send photos via email..  

Hallo, wie schon in der Betreffzeile steht kann ich Camera RAW in PE23 (Testversion) nicht installieren, es wird Fehler 131 angezeigt. Meine jetzige Version 2020 habe ich (noch) nicht deinstalliert was bisher auch nicht nötig war. Außer PE 20 + 23 habe ich noch Adobe Express und den DNG Konverter adobemäßig auf dem PC installiert. Leider ist mir bisher keine passende Lösung über dem Weg gelaufen, ich hoffe aber das von euch jemand einen Lösungsansatz hat.

Can Adobe leaglly block my old version of Phtotoshop elements 2012? 

Hallo,ich habe das Problem, dass ich beim Importieren von RAW-Dateien in Photoshop Elements 2022 über "Datei -> Fotos und Videos laden -> Aus Kamera und Kartenleser" keine Vorschau der Bilder angezeigt bekomme. Es werden nur Platzhalter angezeigt. Bei jpgs wird eine Vorschau dargestellt. Kann ich das irgendwo einstellen, damit ich die zu selektierenden Bilder als Vorschau sehen kann?  Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe und viele GrüßeGerd Hildebrand

Moved work files from photoshop elements to an external segate drive.  Copy and paste but my labels are not there to locate specific files.  Can this be fixed
