Photoshop Elements

Hello, One of my customer has Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 on an Imac. It does not want to launch . After  clicking on the icon, the application started to launch and then closed by itself. How can we fix this issue. Any help from you would be appreciated?

I am a new user of  Photoshop Elements 8. On the Adobe website Help, it says "to show the Panel Bin, chooseWindow>Panel Bin"a, which should then display Effects in the top section and Layers in the lower section. However, when I do this, which essentially puts a check mark by Panel Bin, nothing else happens, and the PanelBin does not appear on the right side of my workspace. What do I need to do?Thank you.

  Hello - I've been using photoshop 2018 for about 3 years I've just updated to photoshop 2022 I used to choose a background colour or gradient colours in the bottom left corner which was super easy now that's not there ... so I'm not sure how I can easily change background colours like before I've attached two photos of what I mean at this point I wish I didn't upgrade my photoshop and worried as I use it every day for my business  plewse help asap 🥲

 I run a Macbook and have Monterey fully updated. My PSE 2021 has a glitch — or Apple does, I'm unsure. I do my editing and then hit file/save as just like I've always done since 2010 when I started. For some obscure reason when I hit save as the window is half off the screen at the bottom. Yes, easy to grab hold of and lift it up, but I've never had to do this before. Does anyone know a fix? Apple/system pref/display/scaled makes no difference. Tried 'everything.' Arghhh. Uninstalled PSE 2021, reinstalled because actually the darned thing would not open no matter what.

New computer, Windows 11.  Photoshop Elements 22 not showing up in list of apps to make default.  When I go to a picture, right click, click open with, and tell it Photoshop Elements it goes to the splash screen for Elements and Premiere Elements.  How can I get rid of that splash screen so it will open in Photoshop Elements?

While attempting to Download the bungle of Photoshop Elements & Premier Elements, onto a Mac 2022 using the correct update it started well with the Ellements going first but when I clicked on the Premier section I noticed it was NOT for Mac but was for Windows and there was no way to change this so I did not click on Download so never got my order completed, It looks almost impossible to get a refund and now I cant even get to tell adbe about my problem and they have not realosed that the program is not being used!Any suggestions? Hello! I have a problem to download Photoshop Elements in to my new computer. This is my third computer and I have deactivated the Elements from my previous computers. But the Elements says that it is been used in too many computers. Is it possible for someone in Adobe to see my active devices and delete them?

Purchased an Asus Vivobook today, Windows 11. Purchased and dowloaded PSE 2022 to the Asus, from MS Store. Takes 30+ minutes for the photo editor to open. Asus customer service says it's a compatibility issue with Windows 11. Is it?

In PSE2021 it was easy to create a shortcut to start the photo editor without going through the home screen. All you had to do was find the right .exe file and create a shortcut. I have been trying to do the same for PSE 2022 but can't find the right .exe file. Adobe seems to made some revisions in PSE2022 to make it difficult (if not impossible). Is there still a simple way to bypass the home screen to get to the photo editor? If so, what is it? ThanksBob

I have used Adobe Photoshop successfully for some years now, but suddenly a glitch has appeared. Whenever I open a new file (as in: "File New . . . Blank File," or "File New . . . Image from Clipboard"), it comes with a superimposed grid of graph lines. They look just like graph paper. But I never selected such a feature and would like to get rid of it. Can anybody help me to restore my Adobe Photoshop program back to normal? Any assistance would be much appreciated!

When I select part of an image and copy it (Ctrl J) to a new layer, it appears in the new layer with a white background instead of a transparent one. It used to provide a transparent background. I must have changed something, but I don't know what. I am using Elements 14.

Hi...I recently upgraded from photoshop elements 19 to 22 (what a mistake). Here's the situation.  I have a fairly large number of photos (44K) and some number of videos (probably 600).  Photos are all JPG/JPEG or PNG, Videos are all .mov or .avi.  I already realized I was having issues with HEIC files so I converted all of those (even though it's supposedly supposed to handle them). Organizer now randomly hanges at various points in time:* mostly when generating thumbnails from vidoes (videos that I can run fine outside organizer)* sometimes when importing photos/videos* sometimes when trying to view a video from organizer* when I switch catalog files (this happens virtually 100% of the time)* when I perform backups  of the structure (it happened 100% of the time until I removed ALL videos) Basically, I'm dead in the water and I can only assume it's because the size of my catelog.  I've done all of the following:* reinstalled windows and photosh

I am trying to create metallic (or shiny or mirrored) text. I wanted to know if Photoshop Elements 2021 orPhotoshop Elements 2022 could achieve that. I found a video that could do it, but my result did not turn out nearly as good, despite following the instructions. It said to use the "Bevel & Emboss" feature, yet Elements 2021 does not seem to have that, so I was wondering if 2022 does, but wanted to ask before paying money for the program in the event I'm mistaken.Attached is a photo of what I'm trying to accomplish. 🙂Thank you! 🙂

Running Elements 15 here on Windows 10. Until recently, when I opened an image file in Elements, I was able to see the entire image. Now I have to zoom out 3 times in order to do so.  How can I fix this. I do a lot of cropping and really prefer to see the whole image and then zoom in if needed. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Is it possible to update CS3 to run on Mac Monterey? My error message- The developer of this app needs it to work with this version of MacOS.

Bought a new Dell laptop. Downloaded Elements 2019 from my account. It refuses to install saying "Your browser or operating system is no longer supported". Wrong. Brand new Dell with all Windows updates.

This is in Photoshop Elements Organizer 2022. First of all, feature request: being able to undo or reset an ignored face should be part of the program.  If you accidentally ignore a face, it should be able to be undone.  This is UX best practice to allow undo. https://www.nngroup.com/articles/user-control-and-freedom/  .  In Organizer, accidentally ignoring a face cannot be undone. The "solution" of resetting all faces in your catalog and starting from the beginning is not a solution.  That "solution" is like telling someone that if they accidentally bold something in a word processor then they need to erase and rewrite their entire document. There is a way to reset all the ignored faces (but not destroying all the other faces), if you're willing to go spelunking in the organizer SQLite database and change some data. It's not perfect, but could save you hours, days or weeks over resetting your whole organizer catalog in order to get some ign

Hi,I purchased and installed Element 2022 (PC) in October last year. The Editor ran okay for a couple of days, then started taking 4-5 minutes to load. I eventually found and successfully used the ‘Enable or Disable Administrator Account’ fix.I then noticed that after most Windows updates, I had the same issue, but could always apply the same fix. After the latest windows update of a couple of days ago, the fix no longer works (I’m back to waiting 4-5 minutes for Editor to load).Is there another fix, or is Adobe working on a permanent fix please?(I have and have never had any issues with anyother software)Phil.

I recently installed Photoshop Elements 2022. (windows, bought from microsoft store) no problems with the installation itself, but when I opened the program I'm missing menus. The buttons for "quick" - "guided" - "expert" seem not to be there (picture 1), but if I click where they should be, I can switch between them. i'm also missing the menu/tools at the bottom of the program, but i have a small part of the menu/tools, so it seems like it's there just not visible/usable. I have experienced the same/similar problem with the 2019 version and I never found out what the problem was. When I printed a photo blue appeared which is not on the original photo as shown but only in the white window frame area. Help?
