Photoshop Elements

The photos are not of the same size. 

I have just started with Face Recognition. Some photos are coming up in the wrong stacks. How can I edit, remove one image from a stack? I mistyped a name and now have two stacks for one person. How can I correct this?

Can anybody recommend a good alerternative to Photoshop Elements?  I wanted to get 2021, but it doesn't run on my ancient High Sierra Mac.  Unfortunately, Adobe don't offer 2020 anymore, and I don't really want to chance it with a used version.  Has anybody used Affinity?  It seems like it might be as good.  I'm sure there'll be a learning curve, because I've been using Photoshop for many years, but I'll probably figure out Affinity relatively quickly.  Would be interested to hear from people that have used it ... or a different alternative.

The following started happening on Mac (version info below): 1. I run PSE. It works fine.2. I close PSE.3. I click on the PSE to run it again4. The icon just bounces indefinitely, and the app doesn't start. If I reboot the Mac, PSE will work again. I've tried resetting the preferences, but the problem persists I've been reluctant to uninstall/reinstall because last time I tried that, it wouldn't reinstall, and I had to upgrade. Any suggestions for fixing this? Thanks. 

I can see several people have the same issues. Mine Monterey 12.0.1 on a Apple MacBook Pro 16 inch using Photoshop Elements 2021. The Photo-Editor stops/no response. Only a quit and reboot helps. A full shut down and try again seems to work sometimes. Any suggestions please? Tried to contact Support directly but no reply. Concerned as I have a new MacBook Pro on order with Max1 and I understand Photo Elements 2022 doesn't work here either. Comments or help please?

Hello Everyone!  I am very new to photoshop and have looked up tutorials  and tried them on how to get the grainy/blurry appearance from this picture I sent below.  I don't know how to do many things but am trying and learning daily.  I appreciate any help,  Kindest Regards R  

I can only use PSE 2021 once then I need to restart my laptop to use it again. I have checked in activity monitor and it is not running when I try to launch it the second time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, launching it from the applications directory etc. And it makes no difference. I am running MacOS Monteray 12.2.1. When I quit PSE 2021 it freezes and you can see 2 instances not responding in force quit. When you force quit 1 instance both instances disappear.  This really isn't good enough I have only had the package less than 6 months and now it is unusable.

Photoshop elements editor not working in Monterey 12.0.1

April 2022. I am still having the same problem using Elements 2022 v20 on Mac OS Monterey 12.3.I can cut and paste text into Save As but I can't cut or paste text into Save for Web.This worked with every other version!PLEASE FIX THIS !!

My photographer put his comapny logos on our photos and then lost our original files. It seems like a text box/"Wet Marks". How do I remove this from photos. These are our very important memories. Please help. I'm a bit of a beginner but I did purchase Adobe Photoshop 2022. Please see attached photo.

Please can someone help me with this issue. I am trying to create a custom Photo Collage template in PSE 2022 (due to the restrictions of 8 photos in included guided templates) by following an online YouTube tutorial. But the photos when added are covering the stroke outline?What I did:-1) Created new A4 page with white background2) Divided up the page with guides (50% for vertical and 20%,40% etc to divide horizontally giving 8 rectangles)3) Used the selection tool to drag a rectangle around each section of page and created a new layer for each4) Filled each layer with an adhoc colour5) Selected the layer and used Edit > Stroke(Outline) Selection and chose 30pix inside on in white6) Dragged a photo onto template and dragged new photo layer in layer pallette above the rectangle I wanted it displayed7) Adjusted image size and then right clicked on image layer and selected Create Clipping Mask.Image duly went behind chosen rectangle but it now it obscures the stroke outline of the tem

I've just upgraded to PSE 2022 and whenever I try to save a RAW file as a jpg, I get an error message telling me that '...file not found. Check the file file name and try again.' The system seems to default to a PSD file. I've searched the programme choices, forums, the internet and nothing can be found to resolve this issue. Anybody know what to do? 

when changing background...select subject....move tool.  With Elements 2022 you can no longer resize selection.  Why is that??   It was a useful tool when changing backgrounds. 

Does anyone know how to use a defined fixed point with the clone stamp tool as a brush? I've been able to make a custom brush with a fixed point but am looking to use the colour pallet as well as the texture from the fixed point and use as a brush. 

This morning I did an free update to my purchased Viveua 3 (update 4.3.4) and now my Photoshop Elements will not open at all.  It opens for 0.5 seconds and closes and says "Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor quit unexpectedly."   I am running Elements 2020 on a Mac.

PSE 21, I don't see 'befoe and after' in Expert mode (it's in the other 2 modes). Can someone help?

Is there a way to rearrange the photo order in an Elements 2022 slide show?

I'm trying to create an animated GIF birthday card for a niece. I'm using PSE 2022 on a Win 10 PC. I'm using two images - each is 1650 px X 2550 px. When I check the "Animate" box in the Save for Web dialog I get a message that the image is too big and I need to reduce the image size or the number of layers. There are only two layers, so how much smaller do I need to make the images? They are now 1650 x 2550 px.

Is it possible to buy a disk copy of the 2022 version of PSE?

I have just upgraded from PSE10 to PSE15 via an upgrade pack (Win 10 PC). It installed  and eventually completed its background image reviews, but I cannot get it to respond when I click on any of the top line drop-down menus e.g. File or Edit. It won't even open the Import drop-down menu, though there is a screen flicker when I click it as if something is going to happen.I can move around the photos OK and the Editor seems to work OK so far.Any thoughts?

I want to restore my catalog to a new computer using Windows 11..My backup file is on OneDrive.  Instructions at  https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/photoshop-elements/kb/backup-restore-move-catalog-photoshop.html#Movecatalogrestoretoanothercomputer show 2 options; restore to "Original Location" or "New Location".  My new Photoshop Elements 20.0.0 does not give two options. It just asks me to choose a folder. What folder do I choose?On my old computer the folder was C:\ Programdata\Adobe|Elements Organizer\Catalogs.  My new computer does not have a folder C:\ProgramDataMy objective is to mainatin as much of my ctaalog detail and structure as possible.

How many photos will Elements put into one photo collage?  Is it dependent on paper size?

After successfully using PSE 2021 for a few weeks, not the Editor doesn't launch anymore. Any idea how to fix this?  Thank you  very much for your help.  I use a Macbook Pro 2018 with macOS Mojave, 10.14.6 (18G7016)

Hello,I bought Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements in October 2021 after Upgrading to Big Sur.Now I would like to upgrade to Monterey and after months still the 2021 Adobe products are not able to work correctly with Monterey????? Is this a way to force customers into subcriptions? Please notice that there are some people who use these programs only for private projects once in a while who don't have the money to pay for packages they will never use.Please update the 2021 Elements for Monterey use. Thanks in advance.

Hi:When I bought my Nikon D500 I also ordered Photoshop Elements 2021 for Camera Raw 13.0.The PSE 2021 Elements Organizer-Photo Downloader recognizes the D500 photos on the SDXC memory card. With the CFexpress card, however, the Elements Organizer-Photo Downloader does not recognize the D500 nor the photos.But Windows 10 does. On the Windows 10 File Explorer is: >Nikon D500 >DCIM >100ND500 and the photos.
