Photoshop Elements

I have PE 2020 on my Mac PC running Monterey 12.0.1. I attempted to back up my catalog to an external Seagate 4TB drive After approx 6-7 hours it repoarted that back up was complete. However any attempt to restore the back up failed, on checking the back up location there wasn't a .tly file. I had .bmp, .tif, .mov, .png, .json, jpg, .xmp, .psd files by the hundreds but no .tly file. Any ideas for a solution?

Hello,I just installed Photoshop Elements 2018 on my Apple computer, OS 10.14.3.I installed all the updates for Elements 2018.When trying to open a Nikon NEF file from my Z7 I receive this message:PR can not open this file.  If you are attempting to open a raw file from a digital camera, make sure you have the latest Camera Raw update installed via help.... Updates.  If the problem persists visit the following link for more information: http://www.adobe.com/go/kb407111When I follow the link I can see that my camera  (Nikon Z7) is supported.So, I do not see a reason why PE does not open my NEF files, I tried big and small files, directly copied from my camera to my computer (without any transfer applications).  Does not work.Does anyone has a solution?Thank you for helping.Guido

Ich habe einen neuen Rechner bekommen und dort die Version 2021 von Photoshop Elements aufgespielt.Über den Katalogmanager finde ich nun sowohl einen Katalog "Mein Katalog 1", erstellt von Elemets Organizer 2019, 12/15/2021 mit 20945 Medienelementen, als auch den Katalog "Mein Katalog 1.3.1 [aktuell]". Ich gehe davon aus, dass dieser zweite Katalog zur neuen Version 2021 gehört. Ist es nun sinnvoll/notwendig, den alten Katalog "Mein Katalog 1" zu konvertieren, denn ich muß davon ausgehen, dass der "aktuelle" Katalog nur einen Teil der Medienelemente enthält, die ich nach der Neuinstallation manuell aus meinem Bildspeicher importiert habe, denn ich stelle immer wieder fest, dass von mir in der Vergangenheit mit div. Tags ausgestattete Bilder, zwar aufgerufen werden können, aber diese Tags nicht mehr beinhalten, also eigentlich - nach meiner Auffassung - erneut mit Tags versehen werden müßten, was natürlich ein riesiger Aufwand wäre. Avec Photoshop Element 2020, j'ai voulu créer un panorama avec 6 photos prises avec un bon recouvrement. Tout le début de la procédure = OK, l'application mouline bien, les calques s'alignent, et quand vient le moment final de fusion = TILT, il ne se passe plus rien. Le panorama final ne s'affiche pas sur le module EXPERT. Pourquoi? J'ai re-installé 2 fois l'application Photoshop Element 2020 et cela rien n'a changé. J'utilise un MacBook Pro 2012 avec MacOS X 10.13.6. Pour mémoire, j'ai essayé la même procédure avec mon iMac équipé du même MacOS X 10.13.6 et de Photoshop Element 2020 cela a parfaitement fonctionné. Que dois-je faire pour que Photoshop Element 2020 fonctionne bien sur mon MacBook Pro.

A few months ago I installed PSE 2021 over PSE 2015 with out any problems.  I have used many times since without any problems.  Today after a brief absence, I went back to work on PSE.  However, it would not open after several tries.  There we no recent big changes or updates and windows 10 is current.  I tried many times clicking on the .exe file and the circular arrow would briefly appear then disappear and no opening would occur. I restared the computer and tried again by clicking on the .exe file.  This time a survey from adobe appeared asking if " . . .would recomend and why?"  I filled out the brief survey, then closed it.  PS E immediately appeared.  This looks to have fixed the opening problem.  Adobe technical folks should investigate and fix this problem.  I'm probably not the only one who has experienced this.

I installed PSE 4 days ago. I created my Organizer catalog of 9500 images. I knew the thumbnails would take some time so I left it running overnight. The next morning all was well. I started using Organizer and Editor. Organizer worked for a couple hours and then I started to get the beach ball. No bueno. Had to force quit. I decided to make a new catalog. Still get the beach ball. I started troubleshooting...I deleted my preferences file. PSE wouldn't even load. Reinstalled. Organizer worked fine for a few hours and then beach ball. Force Quit.Turned off all media analysis.  Worked for a little bit. And then guess what? Beach ball. Force Quit.I tried to repair my catalog. File > Manage Catalogs > Selected the catalog: no repair option. I thought about converting it or optimizing it, but I'm not 100% sure what those do. Force QuitGot an error: IAC operation failed. Force Quit. Searched for it, nothing.  It's been 4 days! That's too long to troubleshoot something th

Hi! I have been using photoshop elements 11 on my laptop (windows 10) to print to my epson printer (cable connected) for over a year now, with mild issues that I could figure out on my own. This time I am stumped because it seemed to happen out of nowhere. After selecting print settings, I click print and receive a pop up saying "photoshop can not print this document". I am able to print the same document using photoshop 2021, however prefer the simplicity of elements 11.  I have cycled the power on the printer and the laptop. Checked for updates. I can print from notepad without issue. I have uninstalled and re-installed elements 11 and that did not fix the issue. I am attempting to print .jpgs and this error has happened with at least 7 different .jpg files on three different types of media. Please help!

How long should I let catalog repair run before assuming it's frozen?  (new PSE 2022, new high-end Win11 computer, 130K photos). I used backup/restore to move my catalog and all photos from old PC (PSE 14) to new PC (PSE 2022).  The restore operation seemed successful.  PSE Organizer now seems to freeze occasionally while automatically generating thumbnails, and the thumbnail process seems to stop.  So I am running Catalog Repair from the "Catalog Manager", and the PC task manager reports high resource usage from Adobe Elements 2022 Organizer task.  I am assuming the Catalog is being analyzed and repaired, but it's been hours since Elements responded.  Can this take hours?  Days?  Should I stop and restart at some point?  Thanks!

I use Photoshop Elements 2021 V19.0 and since a while I have problems with printing. I have an Epson Xp-15000 and at first suddenly Elements stopped giving me the option to print A3 format. When I tried to update the printer drivers printing all together broke. So what have I done:Reinstalled the printerReinstalled ElementsReset the preference fileDelete printer and try to print (then at least I get the printing screen) when I retry printing after reinstalling the printer my project closes immediately again. Does anyone have any other solutions?

 After upgrading from PS Elements 2018 to 2022, when I try to edit or delete a picture I get the following message "an error occurred while reading files or writing files to disk, the disk may be full" How do I fix this? 

Very new to PE Organizer. 2020 version  I wish to find a replacement for Apple Aperture and Photo. Loaded PE and PEO: I like to keep my Pictures files both jpg and raw (different cameras) on external SSD and use one iMac and one MBP to edit. Until now I only use P Element to edit but never used Organizer. How is the Elements cataloge created and were is it saved ? It takes a lot of time to analize places and faces. Will it be possible to copy the catalog from one Mac to the other and get the same catalog ready to be used ? Thanks for any suggestion.

Hello everyone,I used for ages Pe11 for image analisys and I was happy with it.One day my organization push some system update on my Win10 laptop and Pe11 gone... I installed Pe2022 and, trying the usual stuff, I get the first problem:if I try to open one of my .raw files (I mean REAL raw file, NOT coming from a camera but an array of bytes without any header) it give me an error (... not the right kind of document).Is the "modern" version of Pe able to open such images? Thanks a lot!

I'm using Elements 2018.I have two people side by side.  One person's eyes are open, the other's aren't.I open the Open Closed Eye Tool and the head of the person's eyes who are open is circled.  I tried to move the circle to the other person's head, but it doesn't move.How do I get the tool to focus on the right person?Thank you,

Es lassen sich keine Updates bei Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 installieren! Es kommt immer die Fehlermeldung 131!! und Abbruch!! Auch die Hinweise auf den Taskmanager bringen nichts!, denn die angedeuteten Prozesse -CCLibrary, -CCXProcess,-CoreSync und -Node,  sind nicht im Taskmanager vertreten bzw auffindbar. So eine teure Software und solche Programmfehler ich nutze Photoshop Elements seit den Anfangsversionen und habe immer wieder eine neue gekauft, aber seit der version 2019 -besonders 2021 gibt es nur noch Ärger und keine Updates funktionieren!!Ich habe einen Windows 11 pro PC mit  I9 Intelprozessoren und einer schnellen Grafikkarte -an der Hardware liegt es zu 100% nicht!!Wer kann mir helfen bei der Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021, damit die Updates funktionieren? Besten Dank im Voraus!Eine direkte Anfrage an ADOBE ist ja unmöglich, weil es keine Kontaktadresse bzw Kontakt-E-mails gibt!

New Windows 10, 64 bit, machine, newly installed Photoshop Elements 2019 (version 17.0).When I do file -> file info. on an image I get the error message: "Could not complete the file info command because the metadata library could not be loaded."I have tried uninstalling Photoshop Elements and reinstalling it and I still get the same error message.

I am usng Elements 2018 V 16.0 and have just aquired a sony A9MII that requires camera plug in minimum 12.1. I ran the update of elements and its only updated to raw 10.3Is there anyway to update to allow editing of my raw images???Adobe help says elements 2018 is no longer supported!!!

I have been working with Elemements 14 Photo Editor for a long time. Now, whenever I click on the mouse to move an object, the Pop-Up menu keeps appearing. Not only trying to move an object, but to transform it. The menu too appears whenever I were to click on the other tools in my toolbox or my layer box. This is getting frustrating and it delaying me further to completing my works. Any ways, to stop this from happening further would be helpful. 

I've long been using PSE13 on my 2012 MacBook Pro, which has since been upgraded to 10.15.7 Catalina and all has been well. However, I recently installed Adobe CC and that seems to have stopped PSE13 from working. How can I restore functionality? Sadly the CD media installer won't run on 10.15.7. Maybe there's a more recent version of the installer for PSE13??

If I create a New Folder and try to rename it, I getthe message "Analysis is currently running on selected media. Please try again after some time." What doesthat mean. Then, If I deletethe New Folder and then do Showw All Folders, it is still there.

I'm running Elements 2018 on Big Sur, but an update to Monterey is available. Should I update or wait?

After reading several posts about the PSE Monterey issue, and having experienced the same issues, I have opted to leave Adobe and have installed Affinity Photo. It works seamlessly with Big Sur and Monterey. After just a brief time using/learning 'the ropes' I am glad I did. I have dumped Adobe and am happily using what is turning out to be a much better (for me anyway) program. Go to their web site and check it out.
