Photoshop Elements

I am trying to transfer my Catelogs from Adobe Photoshop 4.0 on an old Windows 7 Computer to Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 on a new Windows 10 computer. I have copied all the photos and documents over to the new machine but am not sure how to Export/import the catelogs

Well, after owning this program since 2015, it won't load w/out an activation code. Can't find my code, and I didn't have a problem until this week. But yet the program start up wants me to upgrade. Pretty fishy if you ask me. Help anyone?

I've been on two support calls with Adobe trying to troubleshoot the memory drain and glitches when using Elements 2022 (I upgraded from 2019). They're still working on it but one thing they did was uninstall and reinstall Elements in a custom location.I just saw an update come in but I get an error message so now I'm trying to uninstall Elements altogether and then reinstall it. However, now get an error message for that, too using Add/Remove Programs in Windows. I've also searched my entire hard drive for the Uninstaller.exe file and it's not there. Is there a different way to uninstall Elements 2022? This is really getting frustrating!

Photoshop not working. This is maybe the worst software experience I've had in the past 10 years. Earlier in 2021 I bought Adobe Elements 2021 and installed it. It worked okay. I had to uninstall it to get disk space to upgrade the Mac operating system. I then tried to reinstall Elements with the purchase s/n, purchase code etc. It looked like it installed, but won't run. The wheel turns and then nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Nothing. All the other programs I needed to uninstall and reinstall have worked fine, except this one. The interface to the software looks 10-20 years old. Anyway, that's my experience.

Hi.  I have elements 10.  Ran into something I need help with and would be most greatful for any advice.I have used it a lot in the past, all well.  But just recintly went to make a slide show,  and I could not click on the transitions between any "new black video" I created to change the type of transition or even put one in there.  But the original slide pictures installed when first opened had no issue clicking on them, and they were highlighted in blue of which I could edit the transition. One other thing is it posable, once a title is chosen from the stock list, to deleat it and insert a new one at the front of your slide show, and if so how. I did try to uninstall 10 and reinstall with no luck.Thank you,Jon

My entire collection of photo's has replicated up to 50 times each. How can I delete all these duplicates?My watched settings were accidentaly set to the whole drive, could that have caused all the duplicates?

hi there,   photoshop elements is behaving weirdly on my macbook pro. I had installed the program previously, but exactly the same problem is occurring now. Once i hit the 'photo editor' icon, the program seems to start loading the program, but actually, nothing happens. the only thing is that the 'load icon' (the star before 'lading adobe photoshop elements editor workspace', just keeps spinning and then disappears....   since this problem ocurred before, i uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but it seems the problem returns once again...   any advice or help would be very welcome,   happy holidays,

I am installing this on a computer and it tells me the serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. I no longer have a computer that has this program installed so I can't very well deactivate it. I hate software that does this. I guess I just toss it in the trash, Huh?

I have PSE 18 and would like to compile a DVD "Memory Disc" for friend who is in care with Dementia. Does anyone have any ideas about how I would go about this.

Must my photos be saved locally in order to "open" them while in Photoshop Elements, or LIghtroom?  I am using a Mac and a PC with PSE and need an answer for both operating systems.  I have photos in iCloud but can't find a way to select it for editing.  Would ANY cloud based service that allow you to backup photos work with either of these Adobe Products?   Please advise. How can you post multiple pictures in the Layers Panel in Elements 10

Hi there everyone, Ive seen an effect I've been trying to replicate recently with no joy and i was hoping someone here might know how to do it. If you look at the attachments you'll see coloured text boxes that have a light colour fading into a deeper version ie light yellow fading to deep yellow, light blue to deep blue etc. Does anyone know how to achieve this effect, is it something to do with bevelling or maybe a colour gradient thing?Also those colours are very vivid, are they on the normal palette or part of the effect? Im using photoshop elements in case that makes a difference, thanks to anyone who can offer any help, itss very much appreciated!! 

How can I get my access to RAW processing on my Elements 2018, which has recently been removed by Adobe? It was working perfectly well for my Olympus OMD 10 mark 2. Now it is gone! It will not allow me to install an update. How can I get it back without having to spend a fortune?Thanks,

I bought PS2021 in Augest (a few months) ago and I have yet to use it successfully. I have lots of RAM/HD/CPU and resources: AMD 5900x, 64Gig, Nvidia 3090, etc. I have already tried enabling/disabling hardware acceleration in PS2021. PC: Windows 10 Pro and all drivers are continuosly up to date. I use lots of different software from programming environments, video conversion, to MS flight sim 2020 and I do not have any graphics problems. Display issue: I could probably make a video of it happening if I had to - essentially, the image on the screen does not update. I can sometimes see a change if I drag the window off of and then back onto the screen or minimize/restore the window. Generally speaking, I can see the various tools being selected when I click on them and color picker to me look okay. Here are a couple of good examples. Marquee: Draw a rectangle selection, I can see the dashes (not animated) while dragging it out but after letting go of mouse the marquee

I have issues while trying to edit a photo from Lightroom in elements 2021.  Ehen I start the Lightroom dialog to transfer a file to Elements, I get the following message, "The file could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor could not be launched.".  While this message is appearing in Lightroom, My elements 2021 application has been launched but no file has been moved.  Next, I get the Lightroom message: "Lightroom was unable to prepare the selected file........for editing.  It will not be launched.". As soon as I click OK to each of these messages, The file transfers to Elements and Elements works perfectly.  Each time this happens, it takes about 5 minutes of my workflow time.   I contacted Photoshop Support.  My first contact took about 2 hours of my time while I had to produce a receipt proving that my software had been purchased by me (even though I am registered as a user on their website).  Then, the call center

I am using Photoshop Elements 10 on Win 7 PC.  I am trying to print multiple copies of one image on a single 8.5x11 sheet of paper? The images are artwork for buttons (to be used in button-making machine) so the dimensions must be exact on the duplicated images.  When I select Picture Package, the images are resized to fit the dimensions in the picture package. When I select Contact Sheet, the images are resized to fit the number of columns I selected.  Neither is acceptable.  How can I repeat the same image on a single piece of paper without having the system re-size the image?  I know that I can manually create a new PSE file and manually insert the images into this file.  This is what I have been doing as a work-around.   But I would hope there is a better/faster way.Thank-you!

Adobe needs to extract its digit and produce software fixes for Monterey. Very poor performance from Adobe  but the good news is that there are now a number of alternatives just as good.

Chatting with a user in a PSE elements page on Facebook:  All the photos in the photobin were getting printed, when they only wanted one to print. They are on a mac using pse 2021, I use pse 2022. I has a simliar issue a while ago, I fixed it for me by updating my printer driver- which I hadn't done in over a year anyway.I stumbled across an idea this morning, and it solved the users problem.   Does this work for others?

I wonder if I am the only one with the following issue: When I want to use the new crop tool in the PSE2021 Camera raw plugin, the tool is so slow as being totally unusable. Either dragging the guides or moving the photo behind the selection is virtually impossible and reacts totally randomly. If I use the full ACR version with Bridge or Photoshop, using the tool is fluid, and the speed is normal. I do not speak about the new implementation of the ACR crop tool, which I find totally unintuitive and akward to use, as also appears in a lot of complaints in the feedback forum, only on the speed to move the selection or the image.   I have disabled Acronis active protection, which formerly slowed down ACR seriously.
