Photoshop Elements

When I click on the PSE 2021 app, I get the home page.  I then click on Photo Editor and it says loading and then just stops.  I am not prompted to download Rosetta 2.  Sometimes I'm prompted to update/purchase/fix Adobe Creative Cloud but I have never subscribed to that before and don't wish to pay more.  I re-installed PSE 2021 from the disc I purchased but the same conditions apply.

I am using Elements 2022 on a PC. I have gone through many iterations. I have one catalog but my photos are scattered all over my disk in different sub folders. I want to consolodate my photos in one folder on my hard disk but maintain the sub folders under the new top folder. My guess is that this involves some combination of "moving" to a temporary disk and then "moving" back to my original disk (as opposed to using back up and restore which might organize the photos in one place but leave all the pre-restore photos in place). If somone could walk me through the steps I would appreciate it. I find the directions on Adobe somewhat opaque and this is too critical a project for a mistake. Thank you.

I recently upgraded from PSE 2021 to 2022. I can see a folder of my photos in the Creative Cloud but can't access or save to that within 2022. I've checked all of the settings in 2022 and can't seem to figure out what's wrong. Can someone help with this?

I have Photoshop Elements 12. I have previously registered it with Adobe and it is shown in my account. I recently had to reinstall my Windows 7 due to a malware attack.I have been able to reload my Elements 12, but it will not allow me to run it. It require me to register it but will not connect me to Adobe to allow me to reregister.How can I now use the Elements 12 I have paid for?

This is my first time shooting in RAW with my NIKON 5600. I downloaded two images to PSE 2022, successfully navigated the sophisticated edits (hurray!) and clicked "done".  However, I can't figure out how to save the images as JPEG. Looked all over.  Thanks in advance,Diane

I made an error earlier and accidentally selected "don't show again" against an Unnamed face stack. Is there a way to effectively undo what I did. I don't really want to have to forget all the faces and restart the recognition process from scratch again (it's taken me 4 hours to get to this point).  In anticipation .....

I just purchased PS/Premier Elements 2022 and have two questions: First, the download doesn't seem to be moving past 16%, which is where it's been for about 10 minutes now (and the download was supposed to have been completed within 8-10 minutes, according to the Adobe window). Should I cancel the operation and start over? Which brings me to my second question. Do I need to remove Elements 2020 before installing 2022? Or will it override it automatically? Thank you!! 

HelloI searched the forum but couldn’t find any pointers on this subject. I am a new user of Mac Photoshop Elements 2022 and it’s going well. However, I have a handful of LR XMP files that were once in heavy rotation that I would like to use again. When I open an image in ACR and Browse the Profiles, there is the option (clicking on three dots/dropdown) to Import Profiles and Presets. But when I go to my folder of XMP’s, the folder opens, but the XMP’s are grayed out. Are these XMP files the incorrect type or is importing not really an option? (Am curious to why it’s offered if so.) Can they be modified to work? Any direction on this is appreciated. I’d like to use my past creations, if possible. Thanks!

Adobe TechElements 2020 & Elements 2022 have both failed to print after Big Sur update from OS 11.6.1 to 11.6.2 on iMac. Epson printer SC P800, driver V10.85 latest.. Have tried resetting all printer settings and installing usb print driver again. Have reset computer permissions, given hard drive repair, all without success. After trying to print the editor freezes, and force quit has to be used ? Have also tried re-installing 2020 that originally printed but failed to print ?Strangely I am able to print from both Affinity Photo, and Capture One Pro 2022 without a problem ?This is serious and needs to be fixed guys. Have been using Elements since version 2..Apple suggested in a popup work around to use Airprint, unfortunately there is no ability to set profiles or other setttings for a high end print. App is un useable if I cannot print from it ! Your help in resolving this would be appreciated,RegardsKevin James

Hi,in my experience, it start and work (speed is not great) but the big problem is when I close it, because it won't to start again unless I restart my Mac.Another bug is about opening a .psd file, when i double click on a .psd file with PSE 2022 closed, it doesn't start.Mac Mini 2020 (2018) six core, 32GB RAM.

I am using PSE 15. I have several thousand photos in 2 catalogues, all of which have been given tags over the years. I have just noticed that mainaly people tags are missing on the majority. More recent ones from 2021 are ok but all the rest in both catalogues are gone. Is there a date filter that I have clicked accidentally? I can't see one, or is there any other reason? Retagging around 20,000 photos is not a task I welcome.

Hello, I have in PSE2022 two catalogues. now I would like to move pictures from the one to the other catalogue. I tried to do this via "import from files..." but the picture gets imported without the keywords/tags. How can I move from one catalogue to the other without loosing this key information? I hope someone knows it.

I am having trouble downloading my new 2022 PSE.  I already have the Monterey downloaded.  I read there's issues.  Any solutions yet, so I can get it installed?  It installs up to 8 percent but pretty much just stays there.

I upgraded my Windows 10 to Windows 11 yesterday.  I have Photoshop Elements 2020 and now when I go to Instant Fix, make changes, click on Save, it freezes.  The photos I am trying to edit are photos I downloaded to PE2020 from my iPhone 8 today.  After editing, I always click on Done 3 times after clicking on Save, which takes me back to my photos with the Information window on the right.  Now I have to close out of Instant Fix, taking me back to my Photoshop Elements 2020 window where I click on Organizer to get back to my photos.  Is there something I have to adjust in Windows 11 or PE2020?

I am using Elements Organizer on an iMac.  I like to import my photos from memory card and rename with the date photo taken, saving into an folder with the date the pictaure was taken.  This has always worked on previous versions of Organizer and it has worked on this version, but of late I get no option to do this.  Going in via the "File" option does not work either.

Impossible to use PE 15.0 with Big Sur. Someone has the answer ?

I just got a new Imac and CS4 isn't supported, big surprise.  I need a program that can do all the basic photoshop stuff, cropping, shadows and highlights, contrast, unsharp mask, etc.  I don't do much photoshop work, I'm old school.  If it doesn't look reasonably good out of the camera, I'm not spending much time on it. Is Elements all I need, versus the full, expensive, subscription-based photoshop?

Is there a way to load FX-BOX into pse 2018

When trying to save photos for the web, I click on Save for Web but the new image size area is grayed out. I've never seen this happen before so have no idea why and haven't been able to find any settings to enable changing the image size. The image is a JPEG from a Galaxy S21 Ultra but this has never been an issue before.

I seem to remember just being able to click off of my selection after moving it or resizing it.  Now it seems like I always have to click the little green checkmark to 'commit to the current operation'.  Is ther a way to change it so I can just click off of it and get it to 'commit' on my MAC.

I upgraded from elements 10.  When I downloaded PS2022 organizer loads, no problem.  When I click on editor, the sign in page comes up, when I continue it has me reinsert the serial number.  It is not listed in my applications menu, only organizer is.  Any help in this matter would be appreciated.  Using MACOS Big Sur 11.5.2    Thanks again  

I often spend quite a bit of time on a couple of FB groups about photoshop elements.  Lots of back and forth figuring out stuff that new users need help with.  I decided to start something that's been "On the back burner" for a year or so.  Zoom meetings about PSE.I've never heard or read about anyone hosting such meetings: offering real-time help and instruction.  I'm goingto host the first "beta" version of this 1 week from today.No reason others couldn't do the same. I tihink it's a good idea. If you don't feel it's a good idea, feel free to bust my chops about it. 

Cascade is grayed out in Window>Images. How can I view images in separate windows in Photoshop Elements? Thanks.

Si j'imprime directement depuis PSE, il y a, sous l'onglet "plus d'options" un outil "cadre" qui permet de mettre une bordure noire (réglable en épaisseur) sur les photos avant d'imprimer. Cet outil est très sommaire mais il a le mérite d'exister. Par contre, lorsque j'utilise le logiciel Epson Print Layout (EPL), plus moyen d'ajouter un cadre ou une bordure au moment de l'impression. C'est fort dommage car EPL est un formidable outil, en particulier pout les tonalités en noir&blanc dans le mode "avancé". Existe-t-il un moyen (software, plugin ?) d'avoir cette fonctionnalité de bordures/cadres via EPL ? Ceci sans apposer un cadre ou une bordure au fichier image lui-même, ce qui est possible (mais compliqué et peu convivial) dans PSE...
