Photoshop Elements

I seem to have a problem with Elements Organiser which causes it to show all my files as being "unable to find" after it has been open for a while, sometimes 15 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes, and sometimes longer or shorter periods.Sorry this is a longish post and I will try to explain what actually happens. Elements 2020 (version 18), Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7, 27" 2019 model with 24GB RAM.I open the Organiser and in My Folders choose firstly the Pictures Folder and then My PSE Photos, I named it this, by clicking on the + sign next to it,and then open whichever subfolder I want to work on or view.Also under My Folders are the following : Movies, Macintosh HD, Crucial X8, Seagate Backup Plus Drive, Time Machine, and Offline Media.Okay so far but then after a period of time, a new folder apperas under My Folders, named Macintosh HD@snap-2350611 and although my photos remain on the screen and I can still work on them, My PSE Photos folder can now only be accessed by going into this "new f

I recently shot images with my Nikon D550 set on Fine and L which indicate they are 6000 x 4000 pixels.When I import them to print into my IMac and PSE, the file info reads 1084 x 774 pixels.Why does it "downsize" my jpeg image size?   

Hi all,I have been given a task/project to obtain high quality images of small sub areas of London street.Once obtained they must then be printed in the centre of a approx 4x6 pre printed card. I have attached a few examples of the existing images which need to be updated First question is Photoshop Elements the best software to use? for image processing and printing I need to be able to position the image on the 4x6 card precisely. My plan is to buy the London A-Z (Big Print) and take picture and reduce the image to fit on card. Then print them on the cards.Currently they have been cut out of a London A-Z and physically stuck onto the card. Your advice to achieve the best quality result would be greatly appreciated 

The "style" selection button will no longer select "visibility" I can select bevels, complex, drop shadows.............. but not visibility in the style drop down. The resulting shape is never a simple rectangle. How do I get this thing to draw simple rectangles?

I am consistently getting an "Update Required" error message when and after attempting the most recent (July 2021) update to Camera Raw in Photoshop Elements 2019. After the update fails, I get a "Sign In Required" message when trying to start the program, followed by the same "Update Required" error when I try to sign in. I have tried to run the software on two different computers with the same result. I got the same error when initially trying to install the package on a clean machine with latest Windows 10 updates installed. I had to install PSE15 first before I coul get the PSE2019 installation to complete. The second machine is running an older Windows 10 version and I had been using PSE11 on it. I installed PSE15 first then ran the PSE2019 installer with no issues. Everything worked OK until attempting to run the Camera Raw update. This led to the same problems and I can'r run the editor anymore, although Organizer runs OK. The upgrade file I downloaded from my acc

I have a new laptop with no CD drive. My version of Photoshop 2020 came with a disk. How do I get this on my new computer?

I recently installed Elements 15 on my Windows 10 computer and the polygon tool is completely inoperative.  I see the icon on the image, but clicking the mouse does not create a line.  The tool is unresponsive everywhere on the image.  The lasso tool works just fine.  Any ideas?  Anybody else having this problem?

Windows computer died and replaced it with MacBook Air M1.  Will Elements 11 work on the MacBook Air M1?  If not, can I get Elements 2022 at the upgrade price?  Also, what kind of proof do I need to show that Elements 11 was on the dead Windows computer?

In PE Photo Editor 2020 if I drew a line or placed text on a photo I used to be able to use eraser with out disturbing the background. For some reason now the erasser no longer delets the object.How do I errase a line or a text I placed on a photos? Thanks!  

My Adobe Elements 15 does not recognize raw files from my Panasonic G85. Will the new version solve this problem? Thank you.

I have a high end Dell XPS 8930, with SSD and HDD (2 1/2 years old). I've loved Dell for years, but this time there were problems, ie: the OS was installed on the HDD as opposed to the SSD. That was fixed (sort of); then another issue came up, and a Dell on-site tech determined I needed a new motherboard, a new SSD, and some other things. He took care of that and said, "Well, you basically have a brand new computer again." Which is wonderful, except that I can't get Adobe Photoshop 15 to work. I've tried researching; I've followed the directions; I've gotten the program installed -- but, when I try to do something, I get a window saying the serial/ registration number has already been used, and I get no farther. I know the number has been used; Adobe knows the number has been used -- and, for the most part, Adobe takes me to page after page, trying to get me to buy something new. I'm not about to do that, because I have no need, and Adobe has made me angry. I appreciate any h

Guten Tag,  ich habe eine PSE Version 13, die auch in meinem Account registriert ist. Kann ich jetzt die neue Version 22 zu einem Upgrade-Preis kaufen und wie kann ich das tun?Ist der Kauf einer Upgrade-Version auch direkt aus der Demoversion möglich, damit ich das Programm nicht neu installieren muss?Und noch eine Frage zur Version 13. Die ist noch auf meinem alten PC drauf, muss ich sie irgendwie entfernen, ich möchte mir die Version 13 auf mein Notebook laden. (Windows 10 mit allen Updates) Die Fehlermeldung des Tools ist: Ds System ist nicht aktuell.Alle vier Systeme sind aktuell. Wie kann ich ein Offline Installationspaket - am besten ein msi - erstellen? Ich möchte das Paket mittels SCCM ausrollen.

HiI currently use Elements 2020 which i find pretty useful but i have now started using a Canon R6 which produces CR.3 files which Camera RAW doesn't support and i would like to know if it is possible to update Camera RAW so that i can use Elements. I realise 2021 & 2022 supports CR.3 but im satisfied with 2020 and to be honest i dont see much difference between 2020 & 2022 and have just downloaded the 2022 trial and have deleted it after a few edits etc as i really dont think much to it. (I really would like to see a better UI for a change)  Hope fully there is a way to update C RAW to be able to use CR.3 files other than more expense in buying the newer versions although if that is the case i think it's time for a different software brand im afraid Any help will be gratefully received  (Current C RAW version 12.0.0.32)Adrian 

I use PSE 18 2020. During back up 4 times i see message- Error encountered while writting file(s) ... each times different files but at 97-99% / Back up falls without writting .tly file/ what does it mean and what have I do? 

I see this is a common problem going back years. I reset the tool, does not work. I don't have a layer issue, it won't work on a jpg or even one layer. I have used this for years and know you have to hit alt-click but nothing I have read will make this work. 

I recently purchased a new computer, and am trying to install PSE 2022 (v20) upgrade onto this new macbook air.  After I download the DMG, I click on it, installation begins, then I get error code 1.  I have tried to repair and uninstall using cloud uninstaller.  Still same result.  Should I have bought the full version rather than upgrade (I owned license to v15)?  Is there something else I'm missing?

I cannot figure out why my text is fuzzy....it's super frustrating!  I change the dpi in resizing, but when I go to print, it gets resized back to 72 dpi.  Is there a default setting as to why this is happening?  I would appreciate any help!

I have about 50 photos that I need to crop to 3.75 in x 2,75 in, 300 dpi. Is there a way to do this without entering the dimensions and dpi for every photo? PSE 2020 Windows 10

I had Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 on my old laptop and the new one do not have a CD drive to reinstall. I have alot of Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 files. Can I open my Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 files with an Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022? Osmond Baron

Hi, I've recently upgraded my Mac to a Macbook Pro 2019 model with OS Big Sur 11.6, so I've also needed to upgrade the Photoshop Elements I'd been running, which was Elements 13. This transferred into the new Mac with a general data migration but doesn't run properly on BigSur. I've now bought and installed Photoshop Elements 2022, and the catalog, saved on an external hard drive, seems to have transferred and reinstalled correctly. My question is, can I now go straight ahead and delete the PSE 13 from my Mac, or is it advisable to keep it for a while until I've used the PSE 2022 a few times? Thanks for any information/orientation. I don't like deleting whole programs without being fully aware of the consequences!Nick Rider

I had a system failure on my MacBook Pro and I had to restore it to factory settigns. I succeed to reinstall all my apps but unable to run the installer for PhotoShop Elements 2018. I got an error message mentionning the installer program can't run on the current macOS version.  I try to download the last installation package (.DMG file) of Photoshop Elements 2018 but got the same error. Does anyone knows how to proceed ? Many thanks,Martin
