Photoshop Elements

I am always getting emails ref freebees for Photoshop but most won't work with Elements. You guys do know there are a lot of Elements users out there that would like to get theses freebees too. I for one am 100% disabled Vet and I can't afford to pay monthly for Adobe Photoshop. I remember when you could buy it as a standalone software no cloud needed. But now I can only get Elements but I don't see much support when it coms to freebees for Elements., like the Simple, sophisticated silhouettes, and the Free chrome effects. It would be nice to include  us Elements useers in some of theses. Thank you for your time Leon 

Anyone with experience in upgrading from windoes based PSE 10 (or even earlier) to the most current version 21; specifically migration of the organizer?  Did all of the tag data move over seamlessly?

Dear community, I am new with PE and used to an old version of PainShopPro.In PSP I used Dodge and Burn as a global filter for the whole Image: One click and its done.In PE I need to use a brush and have more control about certain areas for dodging and burning: Thats a new world.Unfortuntaly when brushing areas, overlays sometimes happen and the dodging/burning will be used multiple times. As a result I get stains. Is there anyhow a possibility to limit the applying via multiple brushing?Thank you-martin 

I cannot process RAW files from the new Olympus OMD EM1 Mark III in Elements. The issue is the version of ACR supported in Elements. ACR 12.2 released in April does include support for the Mark III, but Elements only runs up to ACR version 12.0.   Other than converting Olympus raw files into DNG or TIff, is there a way to force Elements 20 to recognize the most recent version of ACR? Or does someone have an idea when Elements will be updated to include ACR 12.2?   Thank you

Hello! I'm a big fan of the adult cartoon South Park and i downloaded a South Park fourth grader character base a year ago, unfortunately, i ended up losing the original base but i was able to find a copy in my iPad on Affinity Photo and i exported to PSD in the desktop version of the Serif app. Everything went fine until i noticed one glaring issue...the bare arms were like this:   I subtracted the arms but sadly, when i try to move the right arm folder, the bare arms doesn't move and yes i checked auto select! I turned off this function before but still doesn't work. and is not just the bare arms, i also subtracted the bare forearms and they don't work as well.At first, i thought it was a problem with Affinity Photo but i could move the arms folder just fine without any issues with both the copy saved in Affinity Photo and the psd file that i exported from this software.Afphoto filePSD fileCan someone help me to fix this issue?

I want nothing to do with iCloud so does all my work stay on my computer, including Elements 2021 itself 

I scan in my paintings at 600dpi, so this is not a digital art or a photograph. I can't mess around too much with anything otherwise the texture of the painting looks off. I usually just scan in, heal any hairs that got stuck in the painting or other imperfections, and then adjust the image to more accurately match the actual painting. I use a Canon Pixma Pro 100 to print, I have all the accurate ICC profiles for the 2 types of paper I'm using. One of the papers is a Canon paper so it definitely is not or should not be the issue.  I am using a Mac desktop that I JUST updated to Big Sur...before I updated the OS I had finally gotten my colors on screen to mostly match the print. Enough that it was difficult to notice the difference and usually only took 1-2 test prints to get it where I wanted it - now...now it's all messed up again. I've wasted a lot of paper and ink trying to get it to work right - it's not even showing much of a difference between RGB and CMYK printing at t

I am having trouble running my Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 on my new laptop. When I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 I was running it on Windows Vista Home Premium, but have since upgraded to Windows 10. I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 on my new laptop and have had nothing but trouble. I was at first able to run the program and access my Catalogue through running the Trouble Shooter and selecting Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (or 3). However, since yesterday I can no longer access my program. If I try to open the Edit and Enhance Photos feature, the program freezes up on launch (where it says reading preferences)  and does not open. If I try to open View and Organize Photos, the program also freezes and says that it failed to launch the Catalogue. Several people told me to uninstall the Adobe program from my computer and re-install it. However, after having done so I am still having the same problems. Can you provide me with more assistance? I have Elements 2020. I am using a Dell XPS Windows PC running Windows 10. When I try to "Share" a photo using Email. Everything works fine until I try to send it to my friend who uses Gmail. Error mesage says "Invalid Credentials Please check email address and password, then try again." Email address I am trying to send to is correct. I have used "Share" via email in the past to this person and everything worked fine. Now it does not.

Hi, I have windows 7 and have been running pse 2018 since i purchased that long ago. the last few days though my program decided it would not send jobs to my printer. i know it's the program because every other program will print to it, even the windows test page. anyone know what's going on? i have removed and reinstalled the printer and that didn't do anything either. i also removed the rest of my printers, and that hasn't helped. 

I purchased Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 2021 on May 9th and installed it on my NEW HP. It worked well till I tried to use it today (7-21-2021).  Neither application will launch. The window pops up that allows you to choose what you'd like to do. Photoshop says it's loading but doesn't. Premiere acts like it's going to open but does not and I have to "end task" to get it to go away.  I am so disappointed in this program. I had used photoshop for years without issues.  The more I read about the problems, the more discouraged I become. I am not a computer geek. I don't want to go messing in files and uninstalling/reinstalling. I just want it to work or a refund and I'll find something else that does. Has anyone been able to successfully fix it and have it stay fixed?

I have searched all help sources within Adobe and outside Adobe and cannot find a meaning for the icon that has started appearing on thumbnails in the 2021 version of Organizer. It is a circle with a slash through it. Appears on upper right (from the image perspective) of a thumbnail. Unstacking will make them disappear. But, they are appearing in nearly all stacks that have been created. I have been using the image similarity feature to find and stack possible duplicates. Is that a possible cause? What does symbol mean and what to do about thumbnails with it appearing on them?  

I recently had to change my motherboard and cpu. I had not anticipated any problems and everything resarted beautifully. Everything, but Adobe Photoshop Elements which needed a new activation. I tried to deactivate everything on the internet but no way I can get a new activation. I have only one app installed. I called Adobe support and was told I have to purchase the new version and they won't help with a reactivation. Since when is there a time limit on a legal license? I think this is a scam and Adobe has unfair practices. I also own Premier pro CS6, Audition etc... and I am considering trashing all this and starting fresh with honest competitors like Affinity Photo, Hitfilm etc...

Last week my Surface Book died; fortunately my workplace policy covered it and I was provided with a Surface Book 3. On my old machine I'd happily been using Photoshop Elements 13 for illustration purposes. I downloaded this to the new machine but the Surface pen behaves very erratically - making marks that are two inches to the right of where the pen nib touches the screen, and lines jumping wildly, unrelated to where I am drawing. I've downloaded the trial version of Elements 2021 to see if it is an incompatibility issue with older software but the pen doesn't work at all there either. I've tried:- Checking for Microsoft's updates and installing- Downloading and installing Wintab- Uninstalling the relevant Human Interface drivers and restarting None of these have worked. The pen works in other (non Adobe) programs, eg Affinity Photo, and I can use it for the menus in Photoshop but not for drawing. I'm half way through illustrating a graphic novel so I re

Going round in circles with what should be a simple task I thought…I want to overlay the lines and text shown on a plan on top of an air photo.   The plan is available on line and can be downloaded to print but only to print (not as a graphic file). I have a scanned version as both a jpg and tif which obviously has the white background, which I would like to remove prior to overlaying it on the photo, which is also available as either .jpg or .tif.  A transparent layer doesn’t work as the lines and text become illegible.I have tried erasing the white with magic eraser which works fine and just leaves the lines and text.  However when it’s overlaid on the photo, I need to resize and although the images are of similar physical size (5 and 7 inches wide respectively) I can’t make them line up properly without losing all definition of the lines and text. I must be missing a step in resizing or the file format somewhere but can’t see where.  Also, if the plan i

I have a vision of assigning a location/GPS to all my photos so I can easily see if any new photos import without location (i.e. Unpinned photos).  There are some photos that either 1) I don't care where the photo was taken  or 2) I have no idea where the photo was taken.  I thought if I could assign a "dummy" location to a photo, I would then know at I dispositioned its location.  I read of the concept of "Null Island" which is a fictional place at 0 degrees N and 0 Degrees E. Is there a way to assign specific GPS coordinates (i.e. 0 N,0 E) to a photo?  Is there another way to meet my requirement?  (Santa Claus House is a known location in PSE, maybe that would work).  TIA

Is Adobe Bridge free to install and use with Photoshop Elements? 

I hope someone can help me with using photo merge group shot.  I'm trying to merge two photos.  I follow the instructions but the photos do not merge.  I've contacted customer support twice, but they are unable to help me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
