Photoshop Elements

Purchased from the Adobe site, downloaded, opened, and then could not install. The request is for my Adobe password, which the site accepted but my computer will not. I've also tried the install password for this computer--no luck. I'm missing something obvious, but could someone kindly tell me what? Many thanks.

PSE 13 will not start.I have been using it OK for several years but today it would not start.I uninstalled it and downloaded and reinstalled it but it still will not start.Please can you help.

  Why is a Rectangular Marquee tool setting that affects the rounding of corners called "Feather"? Why not "Corner Radius"? 

Is it possible to use PSE 2021 on two different Window desktops using the same catalog. My wife wants this so she can keep using her own copy so when she e-mails photos, it uses her e-mail address. I already have PSE on each desktop but her's does not link to the catelog on my desktop.If I can link her PSE to "my" catelog, the problem would be solved. Is this possible and how do I do it?

I haven't been able to edit photos for about 13 days because of problems when I in error mixed Nikon Capture NX-D and View NX-1 with Photoshop Elements 2020. I've also searched the Community Forum.  I'm now ready to move on and delete all photos on my Mac's hard drive so I can edit them again with PSE. I plan to put photos from my memory card onto an external hard drive. These are the steps I plan to follow. Are they correct?  I'm not that technically savvy. I'm grateful for any suggestions in baby steps to my three questions. I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 2019 Version 17 for Windows.  I intend to upgrade to the newest version.  At the same time, I’d like to purchase the same version of Photoshop Elements for my niece and then send her the software and a backup copy of my Photoshop Elements database.   The concern I have is that while I use Windows, she is a Mac user. Can she “restore” a backup on a Mac that was created in Windows without a loss of data?

Do any of the PS products have the ability to read/edit the new CR3 file format from Canon. I recently purchased a Canon M50, which stores the RAW images in their new .CR3 format. I have Photoshop Elements on my pc and it won't recognize this new file format. Please help!

Orte über zugewiesne Orts-Tags werden seit einigen Wochen nicht mehr angezeigt. Die Karte zum Zuordnen der Bildorte ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Ich kann neue Orte nicht mehr über die Orts-Tags nicht mehr einrichten. Lediglich bestehende Orts-Tags können neuen Bildern noch zugewiesen werden. Dieses Problem war vor einiger Zeit bereits einmal aufgetaucht. Mit der Version "2019" konnte ich dann (zunächst) wieder problemlos arbeiten und jetzt eben wieder nicht. Wie kann ich wieder die Orts-Tags komplett nutzen? Werner

I am about to purchase a new Win10 computer to replace a 6 year old machine with PSE12 on it.  I'd like to upgrade to PSE2021 on the new machine.  All of my photos are in structured folders in the OneDrive app, and mirrored in the Microsoft365 cloud.  From prior posts, I understand that I will need to Backup the catalog and then convert it in the new version of PSE. Questions: Is it possible for the backup to be located in the M365 cloud (which the new machine will be able to see)?  What about all of the photo files?  If the new machine's OneDrive system brings all the files in the cloud down to the local machine, will the Catalog, when converted, be able to find and recognize those photos? Thanks,Chris

I just purchased Photoshop Elements 2021.  The installation went well but I have updates I need to install. Is there an alternative to downloading updates for Photoshop Elements 2021? I keep getting error messages and I have tried everything!

So after abandoning Elements 2020 because I keep getting an error message when I try to create a picture package, After my Elements 2010 keeps quitting every time I try to save a picture package, I figured they must have gotten it right by now, so I splurged on Elements 2021 today. Big mistake. I cannot create any custom picture packages, nor can I adjust and save any of the pre-set layouts in the software. How can I delete this #@%*&*! from my computer and get my money back?

All the text is capitalized. How do I switch it to lowercase letters?

I have PSE organiser 2000 installed on a computer with a small SSD which is rapidly filling up. One of the problems is a folder called CAHeadless which is consuming 4GB+ and I would like to either move it, remove it or empty it, but I don't want to cause any problems with the Organiser in the process. I believe it has something to do with AutoCreations and I have turned off "Generate Auto Creations" in preferences. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to install photoshop elements 10 on my macbook pro M1 chip running macOS big sur. I downloaded the file from my account on the adobe website. When I try and launch the install file I'm getting a message saying it needs to be updated (see image below). I can't seem too find an answer or solution to this. I can't find any installer downloads or updates for version 10, i'm assuming they're no longer needed now that creative cload exists and I assume all downloads are done through that. I know it's a very old version so if anyone could confirm if its not actually compatible, and what my options I have - is there a later version that I can upgrade 10 to that will?  Thanks

I'm using PhotoShop Elements 2021. I've tried using rounded rectangle tool. It started fine as shown in the first picture. However, as long as I hit the check mark, the picture becomes semi-transparent with no rounded-rectangle effect at all (see second picture). Please help!

I just upgraded from pse 10 to 2021. It brought all my photoes into Organizer but none will open in Editor. It seems to still be running in the background "analyzing faces".  The error in Editor is "Could not complete your request because of a disk error."All photos can still be opened and edited by PSE v10. I have a 2019 Mac running Mojave v 10.14.6I'm afraid to uninstall v10 until 2021 runs. I use an external drive for Time Machine.Suggestions?

I have been using this software since 2015 and just used it as recently as May and now all of a sudden I'm getting this error message. This program is not installed on anyother computer. Can anyone help me with this problem please?

I was using an old version of Elements (11?) and used to open a number of images from a shoot in ACR then use the 'Select all' button so that I could apply global adjustments (noise reduction e.g.) to them all. I can't see how to select all in Elements21. Does that facility still exist in 21?

I wonder if anybody could kindly point me in the direction of stitching two images to create a panoramic result in Photoshop Elements 2021?

Hello. I own a licensed disc for Photoshop Elements 7 and have used it for years with windows XP and windows 7. I now have windows 10 (64-bit) and the software will no longer perform, other than to allow me to crop and resave jpeg images. Whenever I start up Photoshop elements 7, I get a message that an upgrade is necessary, but I can't find out where/how to download the upgrade. I also have tried entering my license number at the Adobe website but can't find an update that will download. Help Please.  Ralph, 1 July 2021.

I backed up a catalog on a Mac (OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra, Adobe Elements Organizer 2019) and restored it to a Windows 10 system with Adobe Elements Organizer 2021. Upon opening the catalog on the Windows system, I found that none of the events had been restored. People and Places successfully made it through the backup and restore process, but not the events. How can I restore events on to Windows?
