Photoshop Elements

Hi, If anyone can help. I recently bought a new Dell (Windows 10) with Adobe Photoshop and Elements. I got them running but now when trying to load Photo Editor (which seems to be Photoshop) from what I believe they call the Splash Screen nothing happens. The Video Editor button on the same screen opens up OK in Elements. I have tried re-installing Photoshop to no avail. Any ideas. Thanks Clive

I am on a Mac running Catalina 10.15.6.  I moved a catalog to an external drive improperly. I was able to reset the catalog location to the external drive. I then had to reconnect all the files, about 100,000 of them.  It took me almost a week of manual and automatic reconnection.  I then did a backup of the file structure only.  At the end of the process I got a message that the catalog couldn't be found and to create a new one or open another. I opened another (I have 3), and then went through Manage Catalogs back to the catalog I had been working on.  All my reconnections are lost. In addition, none of the files that I have imported since mid-November are showing.  This is also true of my other catalogs as well, all of the files since mid-November are not in the catalog. What happened and can I fix it?

I've used the database with PSE 2018, but can't find a choice for it in PSE 2021. Am I overlooking something?

Grossvater in Not: Habe jahrelang mit PS Element 10 gearbeitet und bin dann auf Elements 2020 umgestiegen und damit gearbeitet. Jetzt am neuen PC kann ich nur mehr auf die alte Variante zurückgreifen, die neue ist verschwunden!?!? Übergangshalber habe ich jetzt noch ein paar Tage die Testversion im Einsatz.Wo kann/muss ich ansetzen, damit das Werkl wieder läuft??Bitte antwortet mir nicht mit zu vielen technischen Begriffen.Danke im Vorausstoissi

In the past, I created some drag and drop templates and cannot remember how I did the boxes.  All I have to do is drop a photo into them or click on the box to add a photo.  I did NOT use clipping masks with this one.  Can someone refresh my memory on how to do this in PSE? I can only find tutorials of how to use already created drag and drop templates that other designers have.  These specific designers also used a drag and drop feature that I believe was available starting in version 15 like mine. 

My wife and I are both using PSE21 utilizing Windows 10 and Outlook for email. Both PC's are set up the same way for PSE21 including the email profile in Preferences. I have no problems sharing photos by email using PSE21 but she cannot. When she presses Next after having selected the photo and recipient, there is a quick flash in the middle of the screen with the thumbnail photo and a message,I think, "preparing file" and then no email is created. 

My Photoshop Elements 10 needs an upgrade for MacOS 11. How do I do this?

I am setting up my new computer.  I have PSE12 on the old one and have loaded a ;licensed PSE 18 on the new one.I backed up the catelog on the PSE 12 and restored it on the new one with PSE 18.  I selected keep original file structure.  Subsequently, i realized I should have let PSE 18 set the file structure.Bottom line I want to start over with the restore.  Can I just delete the catelog in PSE 18 on the new computer and delete the directory with the Photos in it (if not deleted whin I deleted the catalog).and then restore the PSE 12 catalog again into the PSE 18 and select  the correct option on the file structure?Will I be messing anything up?Thanks

When can I expect the release of PSE2021 to run NATIVELY on MacBook M1? 

Hello.   I have a limited budget.  Is a basic package without subscriptions available to run on my ipad?  I did try and elicit this info from Adobe chat, but without success.  Cost as GBP.   Regards  Colin

I had elements and my hard drive crashed. I have had a new one installed and signed out and back in and reloaded the app but when I hit editor it takes me back to sign in page and tries to upload again . I unistalled it and tried again and keep getting same run around loop    

That's it, really, searching in the 2 PSE versions I cannot find much mention of the included ACR apps?Mike

I have PSE 2020. My 512 gb hard drive almost full so I had an additional hard drive installed on my laptop. I left the PSE on my original hard drive and moved all my pictures and videos to the larger hard drive. I opened my PSE and redirected it to the 😧 drive. It asked if I wanted to import the tags which I did, but there are so many more that were tagged that aren't showing up.  I backed up the catalog before I moved all the pictures. How can I get the tags to come through? What did I do wrong?

Just downloaded photoshop elements. These features worked last week but all the sudden don't do anything. I am able to click on the settings (they are not in grey) but again they don't change the image at all. 

Trying to update PSE 2020 Version 18 to Version 2020.1 and unable to download on my Mac, Big Sur. When I click on update now, I get the following message:There is no application set to open the URL auphd://update?sapCode=PSE&baseVersion=18.0&platform=osx10-64&skipUpdateInfo=true.PSE 2020 is installed on my Mac, so I dont know what App this message is referring to. Can someone please tell me what I need to do? Thanks in advance. Gloria

Keep geting error message disc full cannot open at this time - only have 6 photos in it at this time.Any answers?

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021, 19.0 (20210126.m.155261), installed on the Mac running Big Sur 11.4.Whenever Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor 19.0 (20210304.m.156367) is opened, a window shows up stating that there is a update available . I do not want the update!But, there is absolutely no way to close the update window, and continue using PEE 19.0.Therefore, even the option to close PEE 19.0, is to force quit it.Is there a way to continue using PEE 19.0, without that irritating and obtrusive update notice locking me out?

How do I quit being pestered to update Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 Editor, so that I'm actually able to use the application? I don't want the update, along with anything else that Adobe embedded in it.  There is no option to refuse the update, rendering Elements unusable, and not being able to quit it the normal way. I have to use the 'Force Quit' option on the Mac. 

I have a PNG file of six aliens, two rows of three. I want to edit the file to make two files with three aliens each in a triangle shape, one facing up, the other facing down. Unfortunately, when I try to select the aliens I want to remove, the app selects three in a row. How do I select and remove the ones I want?

I have to scan a piece of artwork that is larger than my scanner, so I have to make two part pdf images. Is there some way I can seamlessly join the two parts together? Thank you.

I'm not sure if they are icons, but previously on the right hand panel I could play actions on photos. It's gone now.  I'm a windows user. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

I uninstalled PSE 2021 free trial, reinstalled it, and re-deleted Creative Cloud Desktop with the special tool (I already had it from the first time).I opened PSE 2021 and on the Home Screen it showed (success!!!) the dialog box where I could select my old PSE Version and I selected PSE 15 and clicked "Confirm".Instead of showing me a list of improvements since PSE 15, it all disappeared and came back with a new picture and the invitation "Add Media".And of course when I closed PSE 2021 and reopened it, the relevant dialog box was no longer there.All very disappointing, for a Market Leader . . . .So it is a Bug - How do I report it, and is Adobe likely to acknowledge or respond?Mike
