Photoshop Elements

Recent acquired PS Elements and premier. on Mac OS with latest Big Sur.Was working. Just tried to use editor today and wont open either directly from Elements or by opening a .psd file. Organiser and Vid editor will.Exasperated as need to work on files!Andy

I recently loaded VueScan to use on my Canoscan 8400F scanner. I now want to add it to my inport option along with the Windows Image Acquisition WIA as a option. How do I accomplish this?

Using PSE 15.  Windows 7I fallow the videos to make a simple watermark.  My name [Elliot Recht].  I save it in the brushes, default brushes.  The water mark will stay there for three days or three sessions opening PSE then it disappears.  This has happened many times.  What can I do to have it stay???

I have updated my software (Mac), restarted my computer. But I do not see the feature in Camera Raw. Any suggestions?

My photoshop elements organiser will not launch, it shows no error messages at all, just looks like it is getting ready to open and then nothing.  I have tried downloading and reinstalling but the problem remains.  I can open the photo editor and the video editor but that is not much use when the organiser will not open.  Any help would be great.   Moved from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the correct forum... I've just started using Adobe Premiere Elements 2021, and I have the same problem with maps as described by others for previous versions of Elements Organizer. I saw this ( in red, below) from Adobe in 2017, but I guess they lost some code when they produced Elements 2021. Hi, i´ve got trouble with Photoshop Elements 2021 Organizer (Mac) import. When I start the import Dialog, the box "Dateien beim importieren kopieren / copy files when importing" is automaticly activated and the check mark can´t be clear. After import, no pics will be saved on the external HDD. The extern HDD is chosen in the preferences. Please help. 🙂 Thanks an best regards

I have Photoshop Elements 10 on a Windows 10 laptop.I will shortly be replacing my laptop with another Windows 10 laptop which has Photoshop Elements 2021 as an option.Will my existing photos be fully accessible on Photoshop Elements 2021?Are there any difficulties I should be aware of?Thanks 

I am still using photoshop 6.0  and have downloaded and tried to look at versions of photoshop over the years, but never found any compelling reason to upgrade, plus the facial recognition slowed my computer to a crawl, so i always gave up and reverted back to using the old version.  with PSE 2021 and a fast computer, i decided to try again.  after a week of analysis of >25,000 photos, it had done its facial recognition job and i spent a lot of time helping it learn by combining/naming faces....i was beginning to think that i was going to give Adobe some money this time....then i tried to deal with Places.  The Map based Places functionality is very poorly conceived in my opinion and i understand from reading these forums that PSE 2021  is six versions into this map functionality and people have been providing feedback since then.   Amazing to read a threads like this and seethat Adobe does not listen to the feedback.  I attempted to

Hello. I loaded PSE 2021 yesterday (moved from 2015). I wanted to change some keywords from sub-category to category. This worked fine for about 6 changes - now it  does not. The dialogue box has the "change to category option". The Ok button appears to work - but nothing happens. Any ideas, please?

I've been running the trial verssion of Adobe Elements 2021.But when that trial period ended I purchased the licence key from Adobe to continue using it.They sent me the key yesterday via my email.But when I try to install the licence key I'm getting an error message "! Please connect to the internet and retry"But my machine is permanently connected to broadband services.So I cannot use my Elements software until this is resolved.If it makes any difference I am located in Australia.How to solve this problem please

Just installed new Adobe Elements 2021 (Windows download) on a new HP OMEN 25L running Windows 10. Started the program after install, selected Organizer from the home screen, Organizer loaded but will not work. The File command box on the command bar highlights when scrolling over it, but clicking on it does not bring up the command list, it only reduces or enlarges the window. Can only close the program using the Task Manager. Unsure whether I should delete & reinstall. What next?

I have a new printer and I've set it as the default. I'm trying to scan something and it keeps trying to go to my old printer. How do I set my Elements8 to the new computer since it won't accept the default? Thank you!

I have installed Photoshop Elements 2021 on a PC with Windows 10.  In the Organizer, the top tool bar does not function.  For example, clicking on Edit does not bring up any options.  Also, if I click on a folder and right click, nothing happens either,  I imported a file that is causing some sort of problem and then the program freezes.  I want to delete the folder, but have no way to delete it. 

I am trying to remove the white background from a photo of a needle so I can use the needle as a graphic on a t-shirt. I have tried to use a few of the solutions here, but I can't find the items they suggest, such as the "magic wand", and the "Select" menu doesn't work, apparently because the background is not a layer. Also, most suggestions are for previous versions of Photoshop Elements. I am using(or more accurately, attempting to use) Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021. Below is the photo I am trying to use(I apologize for the size).

Hello,This applies to Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer 2020 (V18) running on Windows 10. I tend to use the Watched Folder feature to add new pictures.  It works very well but I've noticed a bug/feature that I'd like help with. I've found that if I add new pictures to a watched file and then start organizer, it alerts me and asks me to import said files.  If I choose to cancel this alert (so I can do it at a later date when I have more time) then I never get a second chance to import the pictures, no matter what I do. I performed the following test just to be sure this was a consistent issue:1. Added new picture file to a watched folder2. Started Elements Organizer3. I was alerted me to the new file via the Watched Folder D, clicked Cancel4. Restarted Elements Organizer (several times) but no further notification recieved.  Tried a reboot too.  My questions are:1. Is this normal behaviour or a bug?2. Can I force the watched folder feature to ide

Going from HP Envy W10 with Elements 2021 to new MacBook Pro 16.Can I just install elements to the new Mac then use my external hard drive backup from the old pc?

I just installed photoshop elements 2021. I was using photoshop elements 2015 and have used previous versions since 2000 or thereabouts. About 22,000 pictures are in the "2015" organizer. "2021" told me the catalog had to be converted. Fine, it was backed up in January. But at the end of the conversion it advised me files were corrupted and to do something. Only 9,174 photos were moved actually moved into "2021." Even worse, the folders list and the people tags were not moved so all I have is a 9,174 picture blackhole with no road map. I have PE 2019 and I'd like to get rid of the lines inside the image I'm trying to crop. I find them very distracting. Is there any way to do this? Thanks.

Hi,I got a new PC and installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 13. When I start the Software, the Message appears: Activation Limit reached described here:https://helpx.adobe.com/at/x-productkb/policy-pricing/error-activation-limit-reached-sign.html I tried to deactivate the Software on the old PC, but something went wrong. So the old is deactivated now, but I still can't activate the Software on the new PC. This looks like a bug. I was happily using PSE 2021 Mac's Straighten tool with the 'Grow or Shrink' option selected and PSE auto-filling the edges, when all of a sudden it cut off the top of my image. I've attached before and after captures that show this. After some playing around, it looks like the problem was PSE got confused by the white (overexposed) sky, because when I filled the sky in with a color the Straighten tool behaved normally, and then got confused again when I reset the sky to white. Has anyone else seen this? I'm using the latest update (20210126.m.155261 x64) on a 2019 iMac (MacOS 11.2.1).
