Hi there,I use the Premiere Pro Beta version, for a quick workflow of translating Dutch audio into English subtitles. This is working great for a weeks.Untill today... When I translate the captions into english, only a little part will be translated. When I translated into an other language it works. Then I updated to the last Beta version (25.4). But now I can not save the project anymore. Or any existing or new project. I get the following message:**You do not have write access to the directory where this project is located.** Any ideas how to solve this? Any experience? Could this be a bug in the Beta version? Thank you.
Yesterday, I made an mogrt file to help me save some time. Long story short it's an animated picture that moves the same but the picture has to be different each time. And I also added some color controls to it. Made few versions, everything worked. Today, I update the Premiere Pro Beta and AE Beta and that file doesn't work anymore. Color controls are fine. The thing I can't replace, move or resize the placeholder image in PP anymore. I already tried to save it as new file on local drive and the library. Didn't work. Also I noticed that the graphic which was dragged down from the Essential graphics menu yesterday is still adjustable. Look at the picture below. Left is before. Right is todayIs it a bug or am I missing something?

How do i do a Simple credit roller in newest version 25.1.0, essential graphics is gone, and has the new properties panel but how can i do a simple roll crawl like before cheers
Don't know where to put this on official channels but wanted to try to be a good citizen where possible My premiere pro beta install auto-updated to 25.4.0.9 last night and upon opening my current project it completely stalled playback. i could get halting audio, and maybe a still frame if I left it sit for a couple minutes, but it's otherwise completely broken. I AM using an Nvidia 5080 for the benefit of my XAVC HEVC h.265 4k60 footage coming off my ZV-E1. I'm likely using the new NVDEC decoders for playback, and they've worked great, until now. That's mainly why I'm using the beta app, even for my main projects. Rolling back to previous version solved it, for now. Turning off auto-update until I know more.Anyone else have this?
Does the extension API currently support navigating to and opening a particular Bin in the Project panel, as if the user had double-clicked it? If not, could it? - Ryan
Hello, trust all is well.Help needed.I am using the latest version Premire Pro Beta, my exported subtitles (.srt) do not display on my TV, but do so on PC Vlc and also via Windows media player) and eve the translated language does.I have uploaded .pm and .srt files separately and also in same folder. If any help, my tv is a Panasonic TX55FZ802B. When searching folder on TV, it only shows .mp file and not the .srt files, therefore I cannot view subitiles.According an older video (2 years ago) on YouTube video, the guy says to export as embed .srt. Hi all, We're letting you know that 25.3.x buids of Premiere Pro Beta are RC/GM candidates; test accordingly. No changes to C++ or ExtendScript APIs have been made during this minor release, but partners have told us in the past that they'd appreciate notification when we're getting close to a new official release.
We’re pleased to bring to public beta some dramatic improvements and expansions to the color management experience, tailored specifically to the needs of the Premiere Pro editor. With the right source clip metadata, color management automatically adjusts the color and contrast of each clip in your sequence so that every source clip from every camera is converted into a shared color space for further adjustment, and then output to the color space of your choice with automated color space conversions, tone mapping, and gamut compression creating high-quality output with the correct color. In this new version, color management becomes more automated, handles more formats, preserves more image data, and gives you more flexibility to choose just the right workflow for your needs, even turning it off either partially or completely if you would rather work manually using Input LUTs, Creative LUTs, and effects. After installing the public beta, your default Premiere Pro experienc
The frame\panel on the lower left is what I get when I use the Ctrl+` shortcut in Beta. But if it did go full screen I wouldn't see the "guides" in the Proj Monitor. Why don't they match? But what I really want to know is why it's not "full screen?"
It has been noted that when settings for a Sequence working are wide gamut, and the output is SDR/Rec.709, that graphics and png files will not be completely white. Highest white point typically around 70IRE. TO FIX: Select the graphics or png on the sequence, set the Source Clip option, "Override Media Color Space", to either Rec.2100 or a log option. The sequence will now display graphics white at 100IRE.
We’re pleased to announce a host of enhancements in the latest release of Premiere Pro Beta version 25.3.0.48: Automatic Data Range Detection For DNxHR/DNxHD and PNG: When importing DNxHR/DNxHD (via MXF) and PNG files into the project bin, Premiere Pro automatically detects, interprets, and applies the correct data range—whether it’s narrow/legal/video or full/extended—by reading the embedded metadata. Bit Depth Agnostic: Data range handling works seamlessly across all bit depths for the above supported formats. Preserving Super-Whites & Sub-Blacks: Premiere Pro preserves super-whites and sub-blacks in the color pipeline when importing narrow/legal/video range files with out of bounds signal ranges. Color Metadata Handling with CICP support: The color spaces of PNG stills with CICP-tagged color metadata are now automatically used by Premiere Pro color management.. Export Side Enhancements: When exporting to DNxHR/DNxHD MXF or PNG, users can sele

Please note: This feature has been updated, please refer to the ‘Updates’ section at the end of this post. Whether you’re trying to move titles or graphics more precisely, checking a clip for unwanted artifacts, or getting a closer look at a mask that you’re drawing, starting with Adobe Premiere Pro 24.4 Beta you can freely zoom into and out of the Program, Source, and Reference monitors quickly and conveniently using the scroll behaviour of your mouse, trackpad, or pen and tablet. Additionally, scroll bars appear to show you the position of your content within each Monitor. Details of this feature’s use include: When using mouse scroll wheels, magic mouse scrolling, and tablet scrolling, zooming is anchored to the centre of the monitor view. For these devices, holding Opt/Alt + Scroll lets you zoom into the pointer’s position onscreen, so you can zoom directly into any detail you choose. When using trackpad pinch, zooming is anchored to the cursor. In this case, holdi
When I click on an existing porject or try to create a new one, the "opening project" pop up stays frozen on the screen. The little beach ball of doom pops up but then disappears and the app stays frozen. Nothing opens or changes. I've tried updating Beta, I've restarted my MacBook, I've cleared my media caches and reset my Premiere, I've updated my MacOS and uninstalled/reinstalled the Premiere app. I've tried working on my hard drive and on the MacBook itself, but the results are the same (as above). Any ideas or suggestions?
We’ve just introduced Dynamic Audio Waveforms to the Public Beta as of Monday, November 25th (build number 25.2.0 x029...this may appear for you later in the day if you are using a Mac this is now available for both Windows and Mac versions). Audio waveforms will reflect adjustments to volume on clips, a long-requested feature. More specifically, you’ll see live feedback on waveforms when you use the following: Rubber band and keyframes on clips (clip and channel volume, amplify); Essential Sound Panel (Volume, Mute, Auto-Ducking); Effects Control Panel volume parameter adjustments (Clip and channel volume, amplify); Properties Panel (Volume and Mute controls); Audio Gain. A Dynamic Audio Waveforms option is now available in the View Menu, can be toggled on and off, and is enabled by default. You can also assign a keyboard shortcut to toggle it on and off. This toggle will also apply to Waveform Scaling for Audio Gain adjustments
We’re excited to announce that hardware acceleration of Canon’s Cinema RAW Light format is now in the latest beta versions of Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder. You should expect to see significantly improved editing & transcoding performance when using Cinema RAW Light files in the beta: smooth playback on the timlineline and export performance improved by up to 10x. The initial beta release adds Cinema RAW Light acceleration for Apple silicon computers. A future beta will add hardware support on Windows and we will update this post when that beta is available. We’d love to get your feedback on this update! Regards, Fergus
For the past few Beta builds, the Paste function has been replaced by Paste Insert. Why is this?

Hello, I am unsure if visual analysis performs scene detection for my footage? I currently import my footage into Premiere Pro and then perform scene detection to create clips which I then import to Premiere Pro (Beta) for analysis to help organise my clips. Nevertheless, I recently discovered that importing the footage directly into Premiere Pro (Beta) for visual analysis automatically creates the clips required for visual search. (Process A)Video > Premiere Pro > Scene Detection > Clips > Export > Clips Folder > Import to Beta > Visual Analysis (Process B)Video > Import to Beta > Visual Analysis So, I suppose my question is do I have to perform scene detection for my footage before visual analysis (A) or does visual analysis automatically perform scene detection on my footage (B) ? thank you 🙂
I want to create a plugin for Premiere Pro Beta v25.3.0, but I'm unsure where to find information about this process. The error occurs because the newSequence object returned by activeSequence.createSubsequence(true) does not have a getVideoTracks() method or a videoTracks property.I need to find a method that can provide me with text. [2025-04-09 23:54:28:742] [console] Localization error: TypeError: newSequence.getVideoTracks is not a function[2025-04-09 23:56:57:880] [console] Localization error: Error: Failed to get video tracks: Failed to get video tracks: getVideoTracks is not supported and there are no videoTracks.
Now you can easily access frequently needed controls in Premiere Pro using the new Properties panel. As you select clips in the timeline, the most relevant controls and quick actions will automatically display in the Properties panel. Need to change the scale of multiple video clips and graphics? Or change the volume of multiple audio clips? You can now select multiple clips in the timeline and change properties on all of them at once. Need access to more advanced controls? The Properties panel will guide you to the additional panels that you need. How do you enable the Properties panel in Premiere Pro? To access the Properties panel, select the Window menu in Premiere Pro and then choose Properties: You can add the Properties panel to your existing workspace by docking it wherever you like. The Properties panel is now automatically docked in all default workspaces and will be visible when you Reset to Saved Layout. What has changed?
In the latest beta of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, the option to choose software rendering - “Mercury Playback Engine Software Only” - has been removed. Software rendering can cause poor performance and rendering in 8-bit, which can result in banding. In this beta and future released versions of our products, all rendering will be done using the GPU. This change affects: Premiere Pro - Macintosh Intel Premiere Pro - Windows Media Encoder - all platforms Note that this change has no effect on Premiere Pro on Apple silicon computers, as software rendering has never been an option on this platform. What renderer is being used by Premiere Pro is a project-specific setting. If a project using Mercury Playback Engine Software Only is opened in the latest beta of Premiere Pro, the renderer will automatically switch to a GPU-powered renderer. We would appreciate your feedback on this change. Regards, Fergus
Now in Premiere Pro (beta), AI-powered Media Intelligence automatically identifies visuals such as people, objects, location, camera angles, and more across thousands of clips in seconds. With the new Search panel, use natural language to find these visuals, plus spoken words in transcripts or clips with embedded metadata like shoot date, location, or camera type – all at the same time. The media intelligence analysis is faster than real time and runs locally on your computer, there is no internet connection required. Your media and searches are never used to train Adobe’s AI models. This new search can help you at any stage of your edit, whether you’re diving into organizing hours of new footage, or you need to quickly find that one shot you know you’ve seen before. How to get started: Import your footage into a new project or open an existing project. Open the Search panel by clicking the magnifying glass button in the upper right corn
