Today's update, V14.6.0.23, did not fix compatibility with most 3rd party extensions. Is there an eta as to when this can be fixed?
HiSome mov files do not have an alpha channel. In version 14.2 they work fine.
I seem to be having issues with certain 3rd party extensions with today's beta update. ExtendScript gets launch when I open Premiere and some extensions aren't working properly.
I love that y'all fixed the keyboard latency issues in this beta- that were caused by audio effects added on long sequences with many clip! I'm not sure if this is related or not, but I keep getting an "audio not found at..." message as I play my sequence (not at the provided timecode where the error occurs. Even when I clear the "events" they continue to pop up with the same message for the same time code. Not the greatest forum software ... but I fixed this post for you.]
With the latest Adobe Premiere Pro Beta build we have enabled Hardware Accelerated Decoding through AMD GPU cards. If you have AMD GPU card on your Windows machine, you will be able to use this feature. Feature is enabled by default. If it finds AMD GPU card it will start utilising it for decode. Feature is enabled in Adobe Premiere Pro Beta , After Effects Beta, Adobe Media Encoder Beta and Adobe Premiere Rush. Please try it out and give us your Feedback. We are looking for feedback on playback, seeking, scrubbing, reverse playback and export. Please try out the feature and share your feedback.

Right click to adjust audio gives me the box below. The only resolution that shows the complete box is a 4:3 aspect and still doesn't resize properly. Box below looks the same at any 16:9 resolution.
Premiere Pro Beta updated and now ProRes RAW will no longer decode. I have confirmed that it is working in Media Encoder 14.5.0.37, it's just Premiere that won't decode it. I'm on MacOS 10.15.6 (19G73) and have the latest pro video formats installed.
I'm experiencing problems with 5.9K ProresRaw files from Panasonic S1H. It seems that when you scrub through timeline fast GPU memory consumption spikes and then Premiere becomes unstable and there is error retrieving frame..' popping up. Is this a bug or do these files require more than 11GB GPU memory? Just playing back timeline and GPU memory consumption stays stable at ~3-4 GB. Also NeatVideo can't be used at all in GPU mode with Prores Raw files. I'm using latest AMD chipset and Nvidia Studio drivers as of today. AMD 3960X1080ti 11GB64GB ram

If I click the Quick Export button, then set my file location and Preset and export something, the next time I click the button, it's changed back to its default setting, so I have to set the file location and Preset every time. It should remember the last used settings. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v14.5.0.36 OS: Windows v10.0.18363, RAM: 63.94 GB, CPUs (logical): 12
I see in the Pr Beta under new features it says "3D Camera Navigation Updates & 3D Camera Navigation Updates". What is this? Can someone explain what this is?
I've used the text tool to create a title, but no matter what I do (click on it, attempt to type in it, undock the panel, move the panel to a different screen, dock the panel) I cannot change the font from the default Minion Pro.
This doesnt make sense to me. So I transcoded a video to ProRes LT ahead of time. When I drag that transcoded video to Premiere Pro with ingest settings enabled with Transcode ProRes LT preset as an example, it always transcodes footage again, which makes no sense. Also, when dragging an image to project, it tries to transcode the image too, opens up Media Encoder, and makes a duplicate of image. Again, this makes no sense. https://streamable.com/iev7as Media Encoder & Premiere Pro should be able to recognize that "hey, jpg and png images are not videos, maybe we shouldn't try to transcode those". Also, Pr and Media Encoder should recognze "hey looks like that ProRes LT video is already pre- transcoded, maybe we shouldn't try to transcode it again". Im sure there must be a way to implement it so that Premiere Pro & Media Encoder only transcodes things that actualy need to be transcoded, not things that already were transcoded, and certainly
When scrubbing on timeline between clips, there is always a studder/pause/hickup between clips where the playhead freezes for half a second. Even when using ProRes codec and "snap" disabled, it still happens. When scrubbing within a clip, it scrubs smoothly but as soon as I go past the clip into another clip, the scrubbing playhead freezes/studders for half a second or for about one second. https://streamable.com/l4w6yl
When Continuous Video Thumbnails is enabled, it works great when zooming in/out of timeline, but once video starts playing the thumbnails disappear and re-appear once video is paused. There should be some sort of way for Adobe to make it so that thumbnails are generated while video is playing. https://streamable.com/6c4v90
Importing the clips, crashes sereval times. At last, if I import some smaller batches it works.Done, well then I want to get started to preview my clips... - Media pending... just hangs...?! Restarting the program due - nothing works at all. Once again starting up, same issue.Starting up again with no preview, just draging and dropping to timeline, works. but then, crasches after a few minutes. - This is nog great at all.
Hi, I found that when using scene edit detection to apply cuts it would not work within a sequence I hadn't renamed. I tried it on a clip and it didn't work, then after renaming the sequence from its default and applying the same effect it worked straight away - this was within the same Premiere session.
In fast turnaround edits I usually string out all clips from the camera card into a sequence, load it into the source monitor and edit from there. This gives me a fast way to scrub through all the footage from the card. Because the clips have multchannel audio, I usually only want to listen to a specific track. e.g. boom mic, lav mic, camera mic etc. To do this, I can solo or mute tracks in the audio clip mixer. In version 14.3.0.25 this doesn't work. Steps to reproduce bug:1. Import clips with multichannel audio. e.g. XDCAM HD4222. Create new sequence from imported clips.3. Load sequence in source monitor.4. Check audio clip mixer to solo/mute tracks. Result:Audio clip mixer only shows one track. Seems like only the first.Expected:Audio clip mixer should show all available tracks to be able to solo/mute. e.g. XDCAM 8 tracksPremiere version 13.1.5, behaves as expected.System info:Premiere Pro (Beta) v14.3.0.25MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) 13,3macOS 10.14.6 (18G4032)2.9 GHz 4-Co
Coming to Premiere Pro (Beta) is significantly improved performance when playing back sequences containing a high number of audio clip effects. Previously, Premiere would pre-calculate audio effect information for the entire sequence duration, which depending on the complexity of the sequence, could take several seconds between pressing Play and having the playhead start moving. Now, Premiere calculates only the minimum required for playback to begin and remain consistent. In one of our test projects, a 1.7TB sequence with 1000's of clips and audio clip effects, these changes brought our average latency starting playback from 13.2 seconds to 81 milliseconds - a 164x improvement! Your mileage will vary, of course, but expect to see dramatic improvements and practically imperceptible delays when previewing and playing sequences like this.
If you have a seperate matte (black and white) you place it above the video track and add the "track matte key" filter to the video track. If you need to adjust the video inside the matte (ie. scale it, slide it, etc) you used to be able to put a transforme filter ABOVE the trackmatte and you could move the video around inside the matte without affecting the matte scale or position. If the tranforme was below the trackmatte it affected both. This behaviore no longer works as of 2020. Now the track matte doesn't respect the stack order of the filters.A work arond is to use setmatte BUT setmatte has an issue where it won't use and essental graphic as a matte either as a luma matte or using its alpa. There is a work around for this too by nesting the essential graphic. But these behaviors look like they are revealing a deeper problem.
Great Feature!! thanks.Scene Detection does not apply correct to my selected section of the clip. I want just a smal part of a (1 hour) clip, but it always detects the beginning of the clip, I tried cutting the clip with the blade tool (manual) and lasso selecting the cutted part for detection. Also tried setting In <> out points to select the range to be detected. Both ways result in analyzing the start of the clip. Note: when the clip is on V2, no cuts are applied. Thanks in advance!
FIXED: All I had to do was click on "markers" menu at the top of Premiere Pro, then uncheck "ripple sequence markers"🙂 Original:When I ripple delete, it changes the time and duration of my timeline markers.Example: I have markers set at 15 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, and 8 minutes on the timeline. Whenever I ripple delete a clip, it alters my markers, so suddenly the marker at 8 minutes might now be at 3:30 minutes, etc. This is happening in both Premiere Pro and Premiere Pro Beta. watch: https://streamable.com/cgr4cf
So far this has been working really well but ran into a couple of issues. Noticed that it performs MUCH faster when you are only running it on a single continuius clip, vs multples. E.g. if you have already made a few cuts and want to edit down everything a bit more granularly... choosing one clip that may have a few different scenes in it performs well, vs selecting multiples, it goes slower and in a couple instances got hung up at the 100% progress and needed to "Cancel". Also, I noticed that when it fails, it doesn't give you a message "Unable to detect scenes" or something a bit more responsive. I have a :30 clip that has ~10 different images in it, each one does a simple slide or crossfade transition. The clip goes to process, however at the end of about 10 seconds of grinding away, nothing happens - and no alert. So far it's pretty awesome though!
