Premiere (Beta)

I am currently recording tutorial videos for a course in Premiere Pro to be run from March to May at a community college.  I will need to be prepared for when the beta release comes out, so I can show the new features and new-look timeline etc. I know that you guys cannot tell exactly when the beta will be released, so this is my question... In your experience, would it be wise for me (because it is likely to be released during this time) to record the tutorials twice, one with Prem Pro 2024 and once with the new beta version if my course is running between March and May of this year?  Or would it be wiser for me to record the current tutorials in the stable version and wait for the bugs to be fixed?

The app accepts the gif, but there is a lot of freezing in the playback panel, and when I try to export an edited gif, it just exports one frame of the gif, or it exports freezing. How can I solve this?

my audio is not loading i need to set a marker at the right spot but cant see the audio waves of my clip

I would love to be able to move all "silent" areas of my video (meaning parts where I am not talking) to another track - because I usually do not want to delete them but speed them all up, as I am doing a lot of instructional videos. This would be a real game changer for me. And as it is already possible to delete all "pauses" (lift) I assume it must be quite simple for you to pull these areas to another track. I think this would be really usefull for all who do instructional videos and in general to be able to see and here what would be cut away.

Cut, roll edit, timeline keyboard shortcuts stops working from time to time. A work around is to enable the tools panel, choose a tool and then the shortcuts start working again.

Feedback on Premiere Pro Beta:Loving the new beta version for its design and audio enhancements! A couple of suggestions:It would be great if custom keyboard shortcuts and saved guides could carry over to the beta version.An option to convert mono audio to stereo directly in Premiere would be super helpful, instead of having to use Audition for this.Thanks for the awesome updates! Moving images in the PM with the hand tool is very wearisome. It moves around like staccato. Not smooth at all. This has been going on for quite some versions/builds. W11 Canon iframe footage.   Timeline cursor does the same, jumps along, especially when ECP timeline is open. Otherwise, it runs fine.

Hi, if i download the beta version of premiere. I cannot open it. It loads and then the window disappears.Don t know why???

I have Sapphire installed on After Effects and Premiere Pro. It's always worked fine on After Effects but I have always had to uninstall the whole plug in everytime I wanted to use Premiere Pro as it crashes everytime it opens. I wondered if anyone has experienced this before or has a fix?If not I'd like to figure out how to uninstall it from Premiere but not After Effects. It's such a pain to have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the whole thing. Thanks

Good afternoon, in the project after the last update all video became upside down. When exporting, the upside down state of the video is also saved. What should I do?

everytime i re-open adobe premiere, i need to restab every footage hwo has warp satbilisation in. before 24.1 version this issue doesn't happin'. thx alot

when you change something in lumetri the image is block, and you can't play anything in timeline, another things, after some minor change in timeline the playback is blocked and sound go on, but the remains unchanged

Feels like a change to such a fundemental part of the interface (THE CLIP!) deserves some input from the userbase...  While y'all are here making changes here are my three requests: Draw waveforms while dragging clip. Its 2024.Allow mutliple crossfades to be selected and edited with mouse trim tools. Multi-cam or any clip with multiple attached audio tracks would greatly benefit. Currently I select all and double click and enter a time but its all so weird that you can't multiple select and drag. Have waveforms scale with crossfades / gain changes. This one I could take or leave so maybe make it a toggle. "Dyanmic Waveforms on / off"  All around waveforms should be more dynamic, if there is a way to do away with pek file generation as well that would be amazing. 

Been editing this project in Premiere Pro (Beta) 24.0 on/off for 3 weeks.Went to make some final amendments today and realised that there was a new update available, so naturally, updated.Opened project following update and now there is no playback, I can't scrub through my timeline, and the video won't export (see below screenshots).I've done a fair amount of research, and tried common suggestions - resetting workspace layout to default, render and replace timeline, copy to new project, copy to new sequence, changing from GPU to program optimised render, etc., and no results.Project runs fine in standard Premiere Pro, but 24.1 is causing problems. Tried to roll back firmware to 24.0, but the program only opens in the background, and is only viewable in taskmanager.Any suggestions please?

Annoying.  I'm working with 4k24fps 10bit s.log3 foot.I aways work with 4k24fps 10bit s.log3 foot.  When the  "automatic color space detection" -feature (heavy sarcasm) was addited -it threw my entire world into a tailspin and caused me to miss deadlines on at least 3 projects. After searching these interwebs for literally 2 days -I figured out a "work around", that worked for a few updates. Then -bang. New automated features added = issues with functionality and the communication/understanding relationship between a software platform's user -and said platform's creator(s).  Automation is cool and all -but it should be its OWN SEPARATE PLATFORM. OR A PLUG IN.  Not everyone wants everything done for them.  Please make these automatic "features"  -"optional" at the least, "completely removable" at best.  Would prefer these "features" not thieve any compute and/or RAM from my workflow. I've found the best "wor

Several updates and still doesn't work

We are pleased to announce some Markers Panel improvements for Pr 24.2 Beta, starting with build 016. Inside the Markers Panel menu, you will now see new filter options forShow All Markers, Show Sequence Markers and Show Clip Markers. Choose any one filter at a time to see the markers that are most relevant to in the Markers Panel. We have also added a setting to "Ignore selection in Timeline" if you want to filter markers without caring about what may be currently selected in the timeline.
