Premiere Pro version 25.6.0 BETA build 14 lagging as hell!!!!!!!I touch the timeline and after 30-60 seconds PP start lagging as hell, does not play video in the program window, just the sound, if...And any actions (even just put the playhead on the timeline with a click, or select a clip on the timeline, or delete a clip from timeline etc.) takes minimum(!!!) 15-20 seconds etc.! What the hell is happening here?! I'm workking with proxy files quarter size MP4 of the originak 4K, as always... IMHO the computer is indifferent, as the problem started to show up only today with this update.
Is there any way to limit a search to a certain bin or partial filename? i have hundreds of files over many shows and would like to only search one show.
I have found three bugs all of which are quite disruptive to my workflow on Premiere Pro Beta 25.6.Scrolling TimelineIf I set the Timeline Auto Scrolling to smooth scroll, it becomes impossible to stop playback using either the stop button on the Program Monitor or the space bar. The sequence will play to the end regardless. This actually only happens from about 3 quarters of the way through the timeline, operation is normal for the first part. If the timeline Auto Scrolling is set to Page Scroll then everything works correctly. If I add a vertical guide, on the Program Monitor, for example to indicate the mid-point. This guide is misplaced (not even close to the centre) when watching on full screen video. It is correctly placed, however, if I just maximise the program monitor panel. If I wish to filter on the Project Panel by typing some characters into the search field near the top, the search box loses focus after the first character. This means reselecting the box before enteri
Files created with BlackMagic Deck Link Studio 4k and recorded in Premiere 23.6.2 work fine. Updating to 23.6.4 / 24.2.1 / Beta 24.3 have a pending file issue where it takes forever for Premiere to find the file and import it into a project. A project with many created BlackMagic files takes forever to open. I made a real time video for you to see the issue. https://vimeo.com/916718258/846a8c8191?share=copy Drivers for the Black Magic Card have been updated to make sure it is not the issue.
Enhance speech is automatically applied to clips and its ruining my workflow and messing up my mixes. How do I turn it off across the board?
Steps to reproduce:1. Playing Video in Premier, clip is a Prores LT file, there is a nested seq in the same clip.2. In the background Microsoft Edge is playing a youtube video (at 2x Speed if it matters, I only tested at this speed as I dont watch slower)3. With Premier active, and the program window is playing the video closing Premier with "X" will cause a system blue screen and foreced system restarted.4. You can see a couple of different messages show up but too fast for me to capture them, such as some sort of system pool error, and another time I saw a security message flash up, but could not see exactly what it was saying before the system forced restarted down to bios.5. Premier knows it was forced shut down on restart, and offers to re open project6. This DOESNT happen if premier is runnign without EDGE playing a youtube video7. Tested it about 10 times, 5 with youtube playing in background at 2x and 5 without. In every case, the blue sfreen
Premiere Pro Beta introduces GPU acceleration for Camera Blur Effect on Windows and Macintosh. Our GPU implementation delivers improved rendering performance for this effect, enabling smoother playback and faster exports. Please let us know what you think.
The Premiere Pro Audio Team is thrilled to announce a new feature in Beta 25.3 (Build 57): Live Waveform Feedback. This Beta release focuses on enhancing audio editing workflows by providing real-time waveform feedback and improving audio visibility during clip edits and movements. These features make audio adjustments more intuitive, precise, and efficient, allowing editors to see the impact of changes immediately. Key Enhancements: Show Waveform While Moving a Clip: Users can see the audio waveform update dynamically as they move clips across the timeline. Keyframes and markers are displayed alongside the waveform while dragging a clip, aiding in maintaining sync with key audio or visual elements. Show Waveform While Copying a Clip: When duplicating a clip, the waveform remains visible, en
Cannot import folders containing xml + png sequences anymore. Premiere gets stuck during the Import Files pop-up window. Workaround is importing the xml file which automatically brings the pngs with it, but then I would have to manually create a bin for these files. I prefer dragging the entire folder like before.
Usual usage. After recent update, 1. I saw completely different window layout and was not able to rearrange it. Then I clicked to another layout and back, and it was still messed up. I restarted the app, and it went back to the original wrong layout. I was using All Windows and tried Assemble. All wrong. Went to final release and it looked normal. 2. In beta, I could not warp stabilize a single clip. The background bar did not appear on the monitor. The progess counter counted down but the clip still had a red bar and it was not stabilized. I went back to the final and it worked fine. Is anyone else experiencing this?
This error shows up, clicking on it, it returns a few times, then proceeds to render the export and a mind numbing slow pace.... Premier Beta 25.6.0 Build 17Media Encoder Beta 25.6 Built 23 The exported Clip is a basic 1 min clip, Metadata Burnin effect, and BCC Magic Sharp applied. There is no such directory in the system after c:\users\public - the documents in the file system is actualy ' public documents ' so this is likly why this error happens: If you go into public documents you will continue to find a matching directory structure with these directories (The Metadata burn is on a transparent video layer)
The latest beta versions of Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder now include support for ARRI’s ARRIRAW HDE support. ARRIRAW HDE (High Density Encoding) is the compressed version of ARRIRAW. Files encoded with HDE are approximately 60% of the original file size. The compression is completely lossless. ARRIRAW HDE playback is hardware accelerated on Apple silicon computers and Windows computers with an NVIDIA GPU. We would love to get your feedback on ARRIRAW HDE support! Regards, Fergus
I am using version 25.6 and I'm having this issue where the app constantly loads. I can't open preferences or anthing because it just keeps closing the menu. I tried holding ALT+Shift and resetting app cache/preferences and disabling plugins and it still kept doing it on every version i tried. I also tried uninstalling premiere pro and creative cloud and when it was reinstalled it still had the same issue.
We just rebuilt the Frame.io V4 panel from the ground up, and it's is now in Premiere Pro (beta) 25.6. This is a significant update. Browse and import assets from Frame.io V4 accounts, export, upload, play, share and manage comments for your sequences, all from one panel. What is it? When we launched the Frame.io V4 Comments panel in Fall of 2024, we heard from many of you that you wanted more than just sharing and commenting on individual sequences. For those who needed more, this is for you. Many of you asked for an easy way to see all of your Frame.io Accounts, Projects, and Media, all in one place. You didn't just want to share edits with your producer, you wanted to import clips uploaded to Frame.io from your camera. Now, most of what you can do in Frame.io on the web, you can now do in Premiere Pro. And if that wasn't enough, we've made syncing comments from Frame.io to your Premiere timeline better than ever. Comments in Frame.io are
is suck! Because Ever since the update, my system keeps shutting down non-stop. I had no choice but to go back to the previous version. Fix it, Adobe!"
Hi all, We're excited to get your feedback on a significant improvement to Premiere Pro's timeline. We've made changes to how thumbnails display, making the timeline smoother and snappier. What’s New? This release changes how thumbnails are displayed, reducing flicker. Because of this, multiple ways in which you interact with the timeline are faster and more stable. Zooming in and out of the timeline (especially using the zoom scroll bars) Performing trim, slip, slide, ripple, and other edit operations Remember that you can also toggle between different thumbnail display modes: head only, head + tail, or continuous, using the timeline display settings menu (the hamburger icon just to the right of the sequence name in the timeline panel). This gives you more control over how thumbnails appear based on your editing needs. These improvements are designed to reduce visual noise and help you stay focused on your edit, e
It is almost impossible to work in this version. A simple move of a videoclip on the timeline crashes the program. Previous versions were running ok on my computer.
As of Premiere Pro v25.2, the option to choose software rendering was removed on Windows, Intel-based Macs, and in Media Encoder across all platforms. In v25.2, users could still temporarily enable software rendering by holding the Shift key while launching Premiere Pro and selecting “Use Software Rendering Only (one-time only).” In the latest beta versions of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, this fallback has now been fully removed – software rendering is no longer available. Software rendering can significantly reduce performance and limit rendering to 8-bit, which may cause image quality issues. Our goal is to ensure that Premiere Pro and Media Encoder always render correctly using the GPU. If you encounter a project that renders correctly in software mode but not in v25.2, we’d greatly appreciate your feedback. Please follow the instructions here to report the issue:👉 https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-bugs/how-to-report-a-problem/idi-p/13361863 Best regards,

We are excited to announce the public beta release of Windows on ARM native support in Media Encoder! We expect Media Encoder to run on all Windows computers that are using Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series ARM architecture-based processors. Some features of Media Encoder on Windows Intel systems will not be available when using Premiere Pro on Windows ARM, either in beta or in the final release. These features are: Loudness Radar effect (Loudness Meter is a replacement for Loudness Radar) Export to Wraptor DCP Import and export of the GoPro CineForm codec Export to the P2 Movie format Some features of Media Encoder on Windows Intel systems are not currently available in the beta of Media Encoder on Windows ARM but will be available in a future release. These features include: Support for 3rd party extensions (including plugins and audio plugins) Support for ProRes Import and export Using ProRes for proxies, render & replace, or as a sequence setting video preview option Import an
In the current, shipping version of Premiere Pro, starting playback, then accelerating that playback results in the CTI (the Current Time Indicator, also known as the playhead), skipping ahead, briefly pausing, then starting again. This skipping is often accompanied by an audio pop. It's particularly noticable when you're scrubbing quickly around the timeline using the JKL keys. Here's what it currently looks like. I hit L to start playback, hit L again at the first timeline marker to accelerate playback, and again at the second marker. I'm very glad to announce that we've fixed this problem in Premiere Pro Beta, v25.6 build 7 and later. Accelerating playback - both forwards and backwards - should now feel smooth and will happen without any audio popping. Here's how it now works in Premiere Pro Beta. We'd love to get your feedback on this change! Regards, Fergus
Are we skipping 25.5?
Cannot clear selected keyframes, have to use the Add/Remove button. Think this has been going on for a while. B83 W11
