Premiere (Beta)

On a powerful system, I'm finding a simple multicam sequence (attached to lores proxies) really lagging and difficult to edit.  Playhead doesn't move.  Track forward tool takes 20 seconds to complete.  Making simple edits freezes for a few seconds before completing.  Premiere as a whole is becoming a lot less stable in my experience for any longer form (meaning 20minutes or longer) sequences.  I keep updating hoping problems resolve but it all feels less stable.  Is Premiere going the route of Final Cut X?  Thinking of returning to avid to be honest. I've done every reset, cache dump, proxy creation, in the playbook and nothing improves.  I'm nine years into this software. I've written other posts with no response from adobe.   System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v25.0.0.25    OS: Windows v10.0.22631, RAM: 63.40 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

adobe premiere beta crashing after 5 minutes of using 

Working away in PremierePro Beta on a project going on for months.Just about finished with it....Imported some rendered QT footage from Resolve.Put it in my timeline (as I've done hundreds of times)Clicked on a clip and ...crash.Weird. My system is very stable.Opened project,  clicked on same clip - crashOpened project,  clicked on different clip - crashOpened project,  clicked on same clip - crashOpened project,  deleted imported media, clicked on any clip - crash.Opened different project - all is fine.Opened auto-saved project,  clicked on any clip - crashTried to open project in non-Beta version - nope. Won't open.Uh oh.On an Intel Mac Pro 2019 and read the bug reports about enhanced audio.Deleted all enhanced audio audio, clicked on any clip - crashOpened project, got rid of all Resolve media, click on clip...ok!...until the last clip and then crash.Opened project, managed to delete last clip in timeline, removed all enhanced audio - now all clips are fine.

any way to switch back to squared off clips in the timeline? I've tried the bevelled settings, no change...  hating the bubble/bevelled clips design (it's so inaccurate, difficult to see synch, or holes in the timeline, lining up graphics is tough because the bevel makes it not a straight light to line up). Looks like think bubbles on my timeline! Help! 

Everytime I create a new project my project window defaults to the left side but I have moved it to the right side and chose to save workspace changes but they don't get retained.

Last month we had an issue rendering still images too dark. That's resolved now, but to deliver the project I had to apply Lumetri to about 50 clips. (Being a dummy,  I didn't think to use an adjustment layer.) So now if I lasso all the clips , there's no way to clear the effect of all. Is there a way to do this without going into each clip individually? System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.6.0.11    OS: Windows v10.0.22631, RAM: 63.83 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

Ugh. I've had this stupid error a few times (on the same project). I have a very simple 4K edit in PPro. It has one bit of "black video" (created using New Item > Black Video) and whenever I export via AME, it warns me of a "missing asset", and that missing asset is the "black video". Obviously I can't "relink" this black video, because it has no source - the Media File path (as you'd expect) in the project panel is blank. And it plays back perfectly in PPro anyway, so it is not in fact missing. If I export it (via AME) anyway, instead of being a bit of black video, it does indeed show the red "media offline" thing. What a stupid bug! I then deleted the black video from my timeline and the black video from my project, created a brand new bit of black video, slotted it into the timeline and exported again from AME....same "offline" result. I then exported directly from PPro, and it exported perfectly. I'm on the latest PPro beta and AME beta, but this error also occurred a

Steps to reproduce:    1. Cut Multicam clip into a sequence (Source name 66-1)    2. Right click on clip in sequence, choose "Rename"    3. Type in new name for clip within sequence only (Timeline name 066_0010)Result: Clip name in timeline still matches Source (66-1), but if right click and go back to "Rename" that information (066_0010) is still there.  If I export an EDL of the renamed clip, the new name (066_0010) is what shows up in the EDL.  Please note that "Show Source Clip Name and Label" is unchecked in the timeline settings.Expected: Multicam clip name in sequence should be the new name that assigned in the "Rename" window. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.5.0.48    OS: macOS v14.6.0, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 24

Linear timecode (LTC) support is now available in Premiere Pro Beta. LTC is encoding of timecode data in an audio signal. It is useful for ensuring accurate synchronization of multiple video and audio sources.    Two Premiere Pro operations benefit from LTC support: creating multi-camera source sequences and synchronizing clips.    In the Clips > Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence dialog, we have added an “Other Timecode” popup menu, with the option to choose LTC. Choosing this option will synchronize the clips using the timecode in the audio track of the clip.    In the Clips > Synchronize dialog, we have not yet added an option to directly choose LTC. There's any number of timse when I hit play and any dialogue I've previously cleaned up with Enhance fails to apply the enhancing and it cuts in and out and sputters during playback until it eventually stabilizes and plays back properly.  It is...an annoyance.

Hi, In the latest Beta (v24.4.0 BETA Build 24) I am constantly getting audio cut outs and freezes with either of these two errors appearing.It'll either say "Audio not found at 00" or "Audio Disk I/O Overloaded".This is happening with proxied files as well as normal .WAV files. I have tried using MME as well as ASIO (GoXLR) and they both have this problem.Thanks

i had a problem with premiere pro (Beta) v25.0 preview with .mov files. i tried to fix it with all steps on foruns and contacting adobe support 2 times, all solutions were stop using GPU Acceleration or GPU driver issue... but it not make sense (because disabling the GPU Acceleration the preview freezes or preview just not work with correctly smooth performance and i repaired 3 times my GPU Drivers), so i keep searching for a solution and i try go to Premiere Pro older version, v24.6 and the error just gone (and my work project too because dont open on this version...HAHAHA😭). So now it's working all fine, normal, but this error need to be fixed because in logic, the newer version need to be better than older...In foruns i saw that happens in 2020 with Beta version too, but fixed on next patch... and now it need to do again, please. Hi everyone, I’m having some crazy issues with Premiere Pro Beta, and I’m hoping someone here might have some advice or has encountered something similar. I’ve been using a set of LUTs that I bought from a YouTuber (Stalman). They’ve been working perfectly in the standard version of Premiere Pro, with no issues at all. They were working fine on PP Beta until this week and any LUT I apply is coming out way oversaturated. The colours just don’t look right—they’re really not organic, and the final result looks completely off. Unfortunately, because I’ve already started working on this project in the Beta version, I can’t roll back to the regular Premiere Pro without losing progress since the project file won’t open in the older version. Yo you can see the oversaturation and colour shift that’s happening. No adjustment to Lumetri. Just LUT applied?! Has anyone else encountered this issue with LUTs in the Premiere Pro Beta? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how

Render a "red" section in a sequence    2.  Section turns green, has been rendered, rendered media exists within the Production default location           (same as Production folder).    3. Move sequence to a separate Project within the same Production    4. I used to be able to drag graphics into the source monitor in order to edit (move/delete) markers. I cannot drag graphics from the timeline into the source monitor anymore. As a result I cannot edit markers on a graphic.   Build 29.

Hello Adobe Community,I've been encountering significant transcription issues in both Premiere Pro and Premiere Pro Beta. The transcription feature is struggling to accurately transcribe sentences, often capturing very little correctly. This is surprising, as I've never faced such extreme problems since the feature was first introduced.I'm currently editing an interview that was recorded with an external microphone, and the audio is embedded directly into the video file. This has never posed an issue before, but now the transcription tool is skipping entire minutes of dialogue, making text-based editing completely impossible.Has anyone else experienced similar issues, or does anyone have suggestions for a solution? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Hi All,I wonder if some one can help me with a problem that I have with Premiere Pro. I currently use Beta, both the same thing happens with bother versions. I film using Canon C70 video cameras using C-Log3. When I edit I use the BT709_CanonLog3-to-BT709_WiodeDR_65_FF_Ver2.0 LUT. I have recently changed to a new editing computer and when I transferred everything over, the LUT wasn't there so I reinstalled it from the original download. Now, when I edit and apply the LUT, the video is really dark, to the extent that it is really difficult to bring it back, whereas previously I just increased the exposure and it was pretty much good to go. All of the other camera and PC settings are unchanged. Has anyone else encountered this issue or has any idea what is going on. I have been working on it for days and am getting nowhere. TIA for any help. Martin

Beta Version 25.0.0 track tool is faulty.  I have a 2-cam multicam timeline using HD prores files and proxies as well.  All footage is prores 422 LT. Sequence 20 minutes long. Build 25 crashes quite easily without warning. W11

the delete feature when you select a section (like filler words) does not delete like it used to. None of the right click features work in the text editing like cut, delete ripple or just delete.

I see the team has added the crop effect to Motion. That is fine but cannot you put the parameters together so they can be twirled up (i have no use for the effect) As of now they take in a lot of room and have to adjust my workspace in order to get to the other effects.
