Premiere (Beta)

22.1.1 build 53 So I place a clip on the timeline, trim off 30 sec of blank at the beginning and set work area bar.I decide to delete the gap between the beginning of the timeline and the start of the clip by right-click and ripple delete. Clip moves but not the work area bar.  

Like the title. I simply moved the end of the work area bar and it winked out. Lost work. 22.1.1 build 53 

I had a bunch of sequence tabs open on the timeline. Closed one, then the second, on the third one the whole program blinked out.  Beta 22.1.1 build 53

Lots seems to be broken in this build. I have a very simple 30 second timeline with only 2 tracks of video and one stereo track of audio. Tried to add captions and was unable to get the transciber to work. Added captions manually, but the text formatting tools window doesn't show up so I am unable to change the caption background or placement of text on the screen.With frozen playback, I can't even display a single frame in the program monitor by moving the playhead so I can't see if captions are correct on screen. Export just freezes as well. I am able to export to media encoder though. 

Regardless of which project I'm working on, exporting within Premiere fails about 80% of the time, with some kind of exporter error. I've been exporting as H.264 and QuickTime ProRes422 and both are equally unreliable. Luckily, Media Encoder seems to be more reliable. I also had the strange situation where one clip (out of about 30 in my sequence) exported without its Lumetri colour grade. Duplicating the clip on top of itself fixed the problem.

The language pack has downloaded four times now, with no transcript showing up. Just keeps downloading pack.

When the project is set to Ingest-Transcode, when dragging and dropping clips from the Finder into the Project pane, Media Encoder crashes while premiere is attempting to transfer files to transcode. Then the clips that were just dragged into the project pane dissapear from the project.

Steps to reproduce:    1. Use the Remix feature in Premiere Pro Beta (timeline created from XML import into PP)2. Try to export audio Result: Errors, screenshots attached. Hallo liebes Adobe Team, Ich hätte da ein paar Punkte: Nach der Transkription kann ich leider keine Textdatei mehr exportieren - weder aus PR 2022 noch aus Beta PR. - ideal wäre da, eine auswahl TXT, Doc usw.wäre für meinen Workflow sehr wichtig. (habe schon cache geleert - und neu gestartet.) Dann - gibt es wohl keime Benachrichtigung, wenn für die Ess. Graphics die Schriftarten fehlen. Außerdem fände ich es hilfreich - wenn die ess. graphics auch so intuitiv werden - und man nicht java programmierer sein muss -... (ich weiß - das ist viel arbeit - aber jetzt ist es nichts Halbes und nichts Ganzes... Außerdem wäre sehr sinnvoll - eine schon bestehende SRT Datei - Synchron auf das Video zu bringen - Denn - für Social wird oft gekürzt - und Sprache vereinfacht - also ist die Transkript-Funktion ist nicht sehr hilfreich. Herzlichen Dank!Es tut sich ja wahnsinnig viel - HERZLICHEN DANK DAFÜR!

Two issues that are present at least since 22.0.0 Release. May have reported the first before.   The 3 dot drop down for Transcript and Captions tabs does not dismiss correctly. If a selection is not made, the drop down persists when changing to other panels, clicking inside another part of the current tab, or even switching to the other tab. It does dismiss if selecting the new Graphics tab. It dismisses if you again click on the 3 dots.   Something is wrong with the "save" dialogue that pops up in the Transcript and Captions tabs for the Export to text file and  Export to csv file, and in the Transcript tab for the Export transcript. (Export to SRT works correctly.) When you click the save text file button, a save dialogue should pop up that must be colmpleted/dismissed before using another part of the interface - as for example using the "Save As" project dialogue. I demonstrated this by clicking outside that save dialogue box on the PR interface. The save dialog

When transcribing video to text, the regular full version of Premiere strips the speakers name and timcode from the final text export. This is what I need. It seems, however, that the Beta version now includes the Speaker and the timecode in the text and there is no option to change this behavior.  Can this option be added back in? Or am I missing something? I only want the text of the video. BTW, thank you for the local transcribing option and the addition of a dictionary for the new Transcribe function. 

22.1.1 Build 39 It just winks out when doing random things.This time I closed a sequence on the timeline. Poof it was gone.It was doing that a lot in Build 33, I had hoped 39 would have fixed it.

22.1.1. build 33So after experiencing crashing while selecting work areas for export, I decided to create each clip as a separate sequence, and found that much faster. However an annoying thing happened.  I presumed it would work like in the past where succeeding exports would take on the previous setting. With exporting from separate sequences, it defaults to "MPEG Preview," and in AME, you can't change it.  I'm having to re-export each of the 25 or so clips I have to export, changing the preset each time. Export should retain the last preset the next time it is invoked.  If it can't do that, it should at least choose a preset that can be changed in AME by default. 

As below, several tried and the interface bug persists. Cannot pull the bottom tap down. 

If you have mulitple sequences in the timeline, let's say there are 2, version A & version B.If version A tab is first & Version B is second, when exporting Version B, it will instantly select Version A while exporting Version B. No matter how may sequences are open, it always jumps back to the first one.  

There is a bug that when exporting after editing, nothing is displayed on the screen and exporting cannot be performed. 

PR 22.1.1 build 33 Why does adjusting one line of text affect the other, and not the one I want to adjust??? 1. With Ess Gx, create a block of text that you want to be normal weight for the body of the graphic.2. Click elsewhere in the frame with the type tool and create a 2nd line of text to be the title.3. The two lines of text show up in the effects control panel.4. Click on the 2nd line of type that was created in the Effects panel or highlight the text on the screen.5. Change the weight of the font from regular to bold. RESULT:The FIRST line of text that was entered changes to bold, not the one that was selected. There seems to be no way to make the 2nd line of text go bold EXPECTED RESULT:The selected line of text goes bold. WORKAROUND:Create separate Essential Graphics clips for both the title and the text.

The quirk where if you quit Premier while the Export window is showing the Export window will fail to appear on next restart still exists in 22.1.1. Build 33. Just FYI

You asked, we listened!   Issue You Raised Issue 1Large, long-duration embedded captions took considerable time to import (period of not responding). The larger the amount of caption segments, the longer it would take to import. Issue 2 FCPXML files imported with embedded captions do not show captions.   Solution Pr Pro Team Implemented Resolution for Issue 1 (Async Load of Large Captions files) With Premiere Pro 22.1 Beta, we’ve enabled ability to uncheck “import captions ” preference box to allow users to disconnect captions from the import of AV. If you do not want Captions when importing an embedded Caption, go to Preferences > Media and uncheck “include Captions on import” (it is checked, by default). This Preference will then apply to any newly imported clips (have not been imported prior). If you change the Preference and want existing imported clips to follow the Preference change, you will need to quit Premiere Pro, delete you Media Cache, Media Cache Files and Pe

When I do voice to text transcript, the script seems to come out find and appear, however I cannot even scroll up nor can I click to edit the words! Is anyone else having this bug? Super frustrating 😞

I've been experiencing some issues after the most recent beta release of Premiere Pro where all of my media is showing the golden media pending screen. After trying all of the small fixes like enable toggling, making cuts, and more I'm still at a loss. However, when I open that project in Premiere Pro 2022, everything loads in just fine. This makes me think that it's just a Beta issue... Thoughts?

Media Pending Premiere Pro Beta 22.1.1 I can't see may project media pending and I can't relink my footage. It look ok when i open in Premiere Pro 2022, But it's not the version native for this project ? How i need to do to stay in Pro Beta because i'm working with M1 Apple processor or 2022 is totaly ready for that ? Tell meChristian

Today I have an issue where any project I open will only give me the media pending screen. Even a brand new project with a fresh import of a video file shows only a Media pending screen  

Strange goings on with 22.1.1 Build 31 1. If I start a new project and import clips, all clips say Media Pending until program is restarted.2. If I go to add an essential graphics title, click type tool and click the preview window to type, nothing shows up when I type. When program is restarted the etitle shows up, but it cannot be edited.3. Once a title fails, the playback engine fails. Clips on the timeline display "Media Pending," whilc clips in bin continue to display, however hover scrub doesn't work.4. Now something crashed Windows taskbar.  It came back after Premier closed.Windows 11  21H2  22000.282
