After the update, Premiere Beta became very slow. The external disc is constantly reading/writing and playback at full resolution is jerky.

OMF export has been messing upOpen for Voting

In the last couple versions of the beta, OMF export has not been working correctly for me. It has exported with out any errors, but when importing into the various DAW's I have tried, it only exports a short bit of the dialougue, but then repeats it over and over for the whole video.

Export ignores "Captions" settings and ALWAYS burns captions inOpen for Voting

I have several sequences with subtitles (captions). If I have the captions track visible in my timeline, PPro ALWAYS exports the video with burnt-in captions, regardless of the "CAPTIONS" setting in the Export tab. The only way to export my sequence without captions is to disable th visibility of the captions track in my sequence (in the timeline).

Duration in Program Monitor freezes after using Trim ModeOpen for Voting

I've noticed after using the Trim Mode the duration in the Program monitor doesn't update despite setting new in/out points. To wake it up you have to activate another panel then return to the Timeline.Happens in both the Beta and release version. Dragging from Media Browser doesn't work in Beta update (post 25.1 build 63)

Hello Team,I tried the Beta 25.1 build 63 and it fixed major BSOD issues on my windows PC. So far so good!However, it updated to a latest beta (build 63+) and dragging files from the Media Browser doesn't work anymore. Dragging from the project tab still works. I reverted back to build 63 which is pretty stable! Cheers,Robert.

In last day, premiere is absolutely unusableSo many bugs and lags. When i want to replace AE composition - FREEZ - after few reinstalls - no contest . same problem Now it cant even playback timeline without lags - and its almost clear timeline. Thats really frustrating and slowing down my business. If you cant fix these problems i wont be able to use your software for my work. And i really love your software but this drivin me crazy 😞 Thanks for your care

bug in 25.2.0 Transcript not appearing in duplicated sequence

transcribing doesn't transfer to duplicate sequence.The bug occured when I:1. Hit transcribe on 40minute talking head sequence.2. While transcribing, I duplicated the original sequence   renamed the new sequence   and closed the original.  3. Wait for processing to complete. (clip processing still occures while the sequence is closed.)4. In new sequence, open text tab, transcript, nothing there. (the originial has one)5. Open original again6. Go back to new sequence,7. And now the transcript apears  The transcript should have apeared the first time i opened the transcript in the new sequenceInstead I had to find the work around of opening the origianl and going back to the duplicate. Small issue but I want to help improve the product.

Direct2D Drawbot error in Premiere Pro BetaOpen for Voting

Hi all, I keep getting the same error when using Match Frame and scrubbing a clip in the Source panel.Multiple "Direct2D Drawbot error. HRESULT: +2147023496" appears in the Event panel and the PPro lags and freezes. I then have to restart Premiere to continue working.I am working with proxy files from 4K MTS Canon C300. In the latest beta of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, the option to choose software rendering - “Mercury Playback Engine Software Only” - has been removed. Software rendering can cause poor performance and rendering in 8-bit, which can result in banding. In this beta and future released versions of our products, all rendering will be done using the GPU.    As this change affects both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, we created a thread in the Premiere Pro beta forum to discuss this issue. Export panel: filename/Location does not fill the available spaceOpen for Voting

When I export something, if I expand the Settings area (because PPro NEVER remembers that I expanded it the last time I exported something...and the time before that....) the file path still remains unexpanded...ie. it says "E:\proje...\Exports" or something, even if there's ample space for it to spell out the entire file path. Please could PPro:1. Remember the layout of my Export panels2. Take advantage of the available space to spell out the file path in fullThanks!

Multi Track Caption Styles

Hello  Premiere Pro Beta Developers and Project Managers,I have just started using the new multitrack captioning and caption track styling available in Premiere Pro (Beta) 25.20 BETA (Build 74)I gota say I love what you have done!It is meeting my current expectations, and request. I do have a suggestion for the suggestion box though.What would be an awesome addition to this feature is a better Style management system incorporated into the Style Browser.Maybe we could add it to the right click context menu when right click on a saved preset style?It would be grreat if we could import, rename, duplicate (create a new style from an existing style preset) and delete styles; as well as, the current "Set as track style" and "Apply style without font" options that currently exist.It would also be good if you could select one or more styles to export for shared projects. Just my two cents.  Keep up the great work!

Some UI Icons are blurry in 25.2Open for Voting

I've noticed a few icons in the 25.2(build 74) are noticeably blurry. I've taken a few screenshots comparing to v25.0 The multicam icon;25.025.2 The plus icon that appears bottom right of the program/source monitor;25.025.2 M & S icons for audio tracks when track heights are minimised (also funnily the lock icon used to be blurry but has since been sorta fixed aha); 25.025.225.2 with expanded track heights  All screenshots are taken on w11 at 100% windows UI scaling. I've noticed these on both my home and work PC that have different res monitors.

Everything was ok when a crash occurred. I tried to create a text layer to add a title, and it would create one, and then I realized that every other text layer I made on the different sequences was gone as well. Wasted time

Make "Preview Area" a project setting, or at least project 'sticky'

Feature request (is this the proper forum for this?) Make "Preview Area" a project setting, or at least project 'sticky'. Even a toggle button would be quicker than a context menu. I always use Preview Area in source bins, expecially on long format (to view usage). It is cumbersome to have to turn it on for each bin opened. Current workaround is to create a custom metadata display that uses 'usage' columns. As always, thanks for continuous improvememt!

Hardware encoding not available when trying to encode 10 bit HLG export

Hi folks, Happy New Year!In Premiere Pro 2025 Beta, I'm trying to export HLG footage using Hardware encoding but get the error message - "Your system's hardware does not support hardware acceleration for the current settings".I'm using the RTX 4070, and have hardware acceleration ticked in preferences for encoding and decoding.The original footage is HLG, and I'm working in Have attached my settings, just can't figure out the issue.Have attached settings pics.My first time using this community, I usually trawl through Google, trying to find info that is actually up to date or not just plain wrong......... Maybe here is the future?

GenAI Extended Video has flickerOpen for Voting

Hello, I'm currently testing the Generative Extend Tool and I noticed some flicker in the extended portion wherein the brightness or video level seems to breathe. The start of the extended portion is also noticeable because of a jerk in the movement. Is this because the feature is still in beta? I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro v25.2.0.49 running on a Macbook Pro 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 RAM. OS is 15.1.1 (24B91)

"Set Focus on the Timeline..." toggle in timeline panel

"Set Focus on the Timeline..." toggle in timeline panel. I often jump back and forth when switching from logging/cutting selects from a source into the timeline (thereby needing to keep the source monitor focused), and cutting those selects into my working sequence (thereby needing to keep the timeline focused). While it's an easy change to hop into settings, it is 4 clicks instead of one. Including it in the wrench menu would cut that in half, but having a button would cut it to a single click. Enjoying the new features - keep it coming! Cheers,Dan
