Premiere (Beta)

Oh dear. It's now more button presses to get the same result!!!! So, exporting an AVCintra100 MXF in the current version of Premiere I can select a Format and a Preset, then check the timecode box for 00:00:00:00. All on the one screen!! With the beta, I now have to do this with every sequence:I select the PresetGo to the metadata tabTurn off the Create Side Car file and set it to Minimum RequiredCheck the timecode box for 00:00:00:00 Even when a new preset is saved for no side car file, I still have to select the metadata tab and check timecode 00:00:00:00. Also, the font is AWFUL. It's way too small. AND WHERE IS; Entire Sequence, Sequence In/Out Sadly, the new interface is going backwards.
I noticed there is no light mode on the Premiere Pro Beta. There is just a watered-down version of dark mode which is still way too dark for those of us who dislike dark mode. Will there be a proper light mode version in the final?
In Previous versions of Premiere, when I would go to export the default anme is of the sequence I am exporting. Now it just keeps using the same name every time and I have to manually adjust the name for every export. I name sequences specifically and the export needs to match that naming so this is a big hit to my workflow.
was there an update that removed the bar at the top for switching workspaces??????? Also, all my preset exports are gone, and I can't remake them??? How do you even make an export preset with this new menu? WHAT the heck is going on ADOBE??

There no longer appears to be an option to export only the work area in Premiere Pro (Beta). This is crucial to my workflow, please advise if there's a work-around or update planned. Thanks!
Vignette isn't working properly in Beta.
Every time I click into transcriptions (before creating captions) to edit errors in Auto-generated captions, and then escape out, an extra space or two or three is added in-between every word. Not sure if this happens in English or other languages, but it is difficult to manage in Mandarin.
As seen in the screenshot, the latest update forced Premiere pro to use 50gb of ram. This is on a Macbook Air M1 8GB ram.
I have a small problem with the new "Text to Speech" module. In and of itself, it works much better than expected. But at one point there are problems. I wanted to apply the module to a longer conversation between four people. Before, I had already separated the audio tracks and created a separate audio track for each participant in the conversation, which only contains what the respective person is saying. I thought it would be easier for this new feature to distinguish between the people. But unfortunately there is no option to create a transcript over several tracks at the same time and to distinguish the persons on the basis of these. I tried a workaround in which I tried to recognise the tracks one by one and then merge them. This did not work well either. Because it simply placed the text of a new track under the existing one in the transcript. This made the transcript messy. Furthermore, I would like to know if this feature is also planned in Audition? I would like to use it for
When the "Insert and overwrite aequences as nests or individual clips" button is turned OFF, and multiple sequences are dragged and dropped into a timeline, Premire Pro loses the transitions. This is not just on the beta, but on previous verions too. In the screen shot with a small selection of clips, there is a slide transition and audio transitions. In the second screen shot with a larger selecttion of clips (dragged from two sequences onto the timeline), you can see than the transitions are discarded.
I'm exporting an h264 .mp4 file. When I move the slider on the Target Bit Rate, the estimated file size on the right doesn't change.
I've been using the Speech To Text feature for about 2 months now. It's an amazing tool to use. However, will it continue to be included for free with the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription? Thank you.
I have only been running into this problem since I updated this morning to the newest beta of premiere on my macbook pro M1 (16g ram). I'm editing c200 raw footage and only have one or maybe two video in the timeline. Its pushing past 12 gigs of memory used when I run a playback or try to export using the encoder. It doesnt seem like im pushing the computer too hard. I have a color correction, a lut, some warp stabilizer here and there, graphics, text, and thats about it. No other programs open other than Safari which i just opened to write this message. as we speak, not using premiere just open in the background, its taking 7 gigs of ram and still asking me to force quit. In the preferences in have allocated the most ram to adobe programs (i think thats 13g). not sure if i have any setting wrong but could use some input! thx!
Version 22.0.0 BETA (Build 7) OK, so this is beta software, I get it, but here's the confusion:I need to create a new project.Launch Premier Beta.Get the home screenClick "Create New Project"Get the new "Import Media" screen! What???Go back to homeTry File | New. Everything is grayed out.Try to click EditIt's grayed out.OK Back to HomeClick Create ProjectWell what happens if I select some media. With media selected, I finally see at the bottom the path to the projectAnd the create button. Way down in the bottom right.New project creates!!! But there was nowhere to specify the sequence parameters. Then I look at the timeline and all the clips are already there. Clips are for a multicam sequence, soI have to delete them all and start to create the multicam seqauenceBottom line: it works but it's very confusing for experienced users.A Create Project dialog would be better.
Ich habe eine Frage zur Beta Version!Benötige ich für die Untertitelfunktion noch das early access oder deckt es nun die beta Version ab?
after importing media once this always occurs when i return to the import page. the collection bar that should be at the bottom of the screen is stuck at the top hiding the file browser
Would love to see support for Loupedeck integrated in Beta. It's our main tool for edit and without it testing is a chore
HiyaIn Premier pro, the entire workspace is locked while rendering. I use an ultra wide screen and it would be nice to still be able to minimise or go from full screen to half screen during the rendering process. In Audition, you're able to do this and I find it very helpful so I can continue working with the screen split in two.Great feature and would be good to have it across all platforms.CheersJamie
The import workspace is largely useless atm. Can't remove Sample Media as a favouriteCan't rename FavouritesMany projects with the same folder structure makes favouriting them pointless. Having a bunch of favourites named Source is a bit useless.LocalWhat is this even supposed to be usefull for? Does anyone ever store project footage in their user folder? This is just a total waste of space and should be replaced with something derived from the project folder you set when creating the project. Have it list the folders you have there with an option to hide/show what folders to appear. And be remembered between projects if you want.No where to paste an URL. Really? the only way to get to my projects folder is to click my way from the root? How is this of use to anyone? Atleast allways have the project folder as a link in this window. And for the love of god, lket me paste a link to where my media is located!First impressions of this beta is that it's purely directed to amateure home users,
I am finding that if I make a subclip midway through an existing rushes timeline (I only need a portion of the footage to transcribe) and then use that new timeline to transcribe the audio, the resulting transcription throws any subtitles way down the end of the timeline and time code generated in the transcription is out by about 4hrs. I found a work-around, but clearly a bug. If I modify the new timeline to start @ 00:00:00:00 before sending to auto transcription the resulting transcript seems to align the subtitles in the correct place. I can then modify the timeline start time code and everything is adjusted accordingly.
I cannot get it to actually sync to my CC settings ... it shows it doing so, but does NOT apply the settings. So not only do I not have my keyboard shorts and workspaces, it is defaulting to putting all cache files on my SSD OS drive ... where I NEVER want them. Fix it, folks. Neil
I'm trying the speech to text feature in beta and while this may not be a current feature, the video I tested as English and Spanish. The English is recognized but the Spanish is not. Is there a setting to include the Spanish language in the speech to text cloud processing?
Transferred my project to my M1 Mac and now have to re-arrange the layers so that Posterize Time comes before certain other effects, pretty inconvenient, but I'm glad there's a workaround.
Used 2.3 times after installation. At this time, the export panel was displayed normally. When I tried exporting yesterday, the display is broken. The display of the media loading panel is also corrupted.
