It's very easy to find this topic on reddit/the Premiere forums. It's a feature that's been requested for years but I've never seen an Adobe engineer comment on it. The default clip keyframes being set to opacity is a largely useless functionality for most editors. You should be able to change which of the base effects is the default option, or just have time remapping be the new default. Especially in today's videos, time remapping is used by people CONSTANTLY. I use it dozens of times every day, but I can't think of one single time I've ever used opacity keyframes in the timeline. It's been a major annoyance for years having to navigate multiple clicks on a clip every time you need to do a speed ramp. Please please please, can someone in Adobe finally acknowledge this? It would be great to see this rolled out in beta if not just straight to full release.

Dear Adobe Support,I’ve been using the Adobe Premiere Pro Beta and have encountered an issue when moving clips within the timeline. The clips appear to be ‘ghosted’, making it difficult to accurately place and manipulate them. I’ve attached some clips to this report to illustrate the problem. In Premiere pro beta current version { save backup project to creative cloud } Is greyed out . please fix it 

I have 3 CFA files totaling 400GB that are constantly regenerated without the original audio file being modified. I need to render audio to show the waveform of my sequence. Regenerating these files takes a lot of time without any obvious reason. Is this normal, or am I missing something? Thanks

when a window pops up it doesnt resize to to fit on the screen properly and it does not give me the feature to resize it manually

Theres A Weird issue with this new ui. when i drag on a transition from the effects panel. all my click and drag functions break. and trying to drag further causes the old ui to... bleed through? and all dragging does nothing. im unsure to what causes this but. it just happens whenever i drag on transitions. the only way to fix it at this stage is to close out of the sequence and reopen it from another sequence or binUPDATE: i was on windows 10 for that test. now on windows 11 i dont get the "bleeding through" but it still acts the same way. where i cannot drag the clip anywhere.I ALSO FOUND that resizing any clips in the timeline will also fix this issue... until you drag another transition onto the timeline

When draging elements on the timeline, the sound get glitchy and the computer sudently crash in BSOD.Only occurs on the last beta (24.6.0.001)

I can not use the function "Replace with After Effects Composition". This option has been grey. My Premiere Beta version is 24.6.0 (Build 1)My Affetr Effects version is 24.4.0 (Buld 47)I have just updated.My OS is Sonoma 14.4.1Waht should I do? IS Premeire Beta versipn compatible with After Effects?

When bringing MXF files into the timeline they are being automatially graded?In the project files window the are in SLOG3 format with no grade but as soon as pulled into the timeline they are taknig on a default LUT. I have been in to project settings and changed default LUT to none but there seems to be zero way to override this issue.

Curiosity, not complaint... It seems like this past week or so, every time I open Premiere Pro Beta there's another update. I think I've had 4 in a week, but even in the what's new window, it only sometimes says what's actually new. I'm all for fixing little bugs or whatever when it's not a feature release, but this kind of feels like a lot. Has the beta had problems that I haven't noticed yet? Anyone else see anything similar? Glad to have the new features though - new audio capabilities are great, thanks!

As I am trying to add video transitions amongst the layers.  Once I have selected one, it is locking onto that selection somehow.  I try to grab a different transition effect and drop it on, but when I do the same on from before drops into that place instead.  I have to save, and exit - then reopen the file to use a different one.

Hi, I have used text based editing for months but it has stopped working. I can't highlight text in the trasncript panel. The automatically select in/out button is on. 

I've been using this for the past 48 hours and it's beyond frustrating to function with. Several times per hour, clips start acting oddly. When they do this, I can't apply effects, or control the effects and audio playback drops out even though it's active on the timeline. The worst glitch in this update is when clips spontaneously cease to be able to be moved around the timeline at all. They sort of, overlap each other when I attempt to move them causing me to have to restart my machine to solve the issue. A simple reboot of the program doesn't solve this. This isn't usable or reliable right now. I've had to tell my entire team to turn off auto updates as a result.  Is anyone else experiencing this? any remedies? Im running on a new MacBook Pro M3 with ample memory available.

My Premiere keeps crashing. I think it has something to do with the audio enhancer. It's not the PC's fault, as it's new, Premiere worked great on it until recently. Now I have to edit a wedding and can't do it. I managed to make it work yesterday by unisntalling and installing other version, but I think it got updated again and now every few seconds, it crashes. I am supposed to deliver the wedding today, wtf?

(beginner to immediate user)24.5.04.5Mac OS 14.4.1Hi,i hope i can explain it right, as I'm german.Usually when i deleted empty spaces, the complete section behind the "ripple" moved.Don't know at which latest update this stopped, but the newest update 10 Minutes ago did not change it.Even grouping does not fix this.I hope i am not just to stupid to use it correct 😉It's really annoying and a lot of extra steps for me to fix that.  See attached pictures.ThanksMarion
