Premiere (Beta)

Depuis la dernière mise à jour bêta, lorsqu'un clip est déplacé d'un dossier à l'autre, le déplacement ne se fait pas réellement. Il s'agit plutôt d'une copie qui est créée.

Version 24.3.0 Beta (Build 24)Windows 10, 64bit When I move clips and timelines in the Project panel, instead of simply relocating them, it creates a copy in the new destination, but leaves the original in place.  Is this a feature, and if so, how do I turn it off? Thank you!

I saw that this feature was in the list for 24.0 but it has disappeared from the What's New list. Has it now been dropped? I had actually done some benchmarking on it and it looked like a good improvement but the 24.0 Beta now seems to run at the same speed as 23.5. I'm in the most current beta. Today when I have option dragged a clip to duplicate it in the timeline, I am experiencing beach balling hanging for about a minute. I am on Mac Ventura. Activity Monitor sample is attached. (Sorry, I actually didn't update to today's release. I last updated Friday, I think.)

Where can I find the Premiere Pro beta? I don't have a "beta" tab in my enterprise level Creative Cloud app. Google searching takes me to the beta page (...using/premiere-pro-beta.html) with "get premiere pro beta" announcement at the top, dated Jan 24. Clicking the "get beta" link takes me to the generic home page (adobe.com/#).

When using the pen tool im unable to move an achorpoint after placing it. None of the shortcuts work. It then crashed and created a loop where everytime i open the project it crashes. 

With default settings, if I have a clip on the timeline and place the time indicator over it, the clip is automatically selected. Problem occurs when you're trying to add timeline markers.  While the indicator plays over the selected clip, the "M" key adds markers to the CLIP, not the timeline. So it appears the trick to this is to 1. Position the time indicator where you want it (highlighting the clip beneath it)2. Click in a blank area of the timeline to deselect the clip3. Play and insert markers I think there's a setting to turn off this default setting, but I don't know where it is. As said in the subject the latest two versions of Premiere Pro Beta crashes every time I click/do Modify->Audio Channels to material clip. Friday I stilla had two versions prior and didn't have any problems with modifying audio channels...

See image. The Keyboard Shortcuts Editor does not show the keyboard shortcuts we can set for Text-based Editing in the Text panel. They are not searchable either, so we simply can not set them. Since none of them are set on a Norwegian keyboard by default, we're not able to edit from or in the Text panel using keyboard shortcuts. Bad bug.It shows in 24.1, but not in 24.3.0 beta build 21. See images.This bug has been coming and going for a while now. It's about time we squash it.

As soon as I click to adjust the modify settings in Premiere Pro, the program closes.

And there is no published information on what PrPro's NLC practices are concerning both reading and publishing tags (to file headers on export).   I know the app is hard-coded to assume Rec.709 b-cast standards for monitors: sRGB primaries, D65 white point, gamma 2.4, and 100 nits monitor brightness in a semi-darkened room. The "display color management" preferences option makes PrPro look at the monitor's ICC profile and attempt to remap the image to show as correct Rec.709 on that monitor's color management system.   I work with some of the top colorists in the world daily. Normal editing on Mac with latest AI Premiere beta version. 1.  Cut pieces on track2. One would move, the other could not be move by ordinary means3. Cutting/pasting or restart was only solution Also random enabling/disabling of clips occurred even though clips didn't appear any differently on sequence unless restarted, so you may not see until export.

In Preferences/Timeline, when I change the Default audio duration from 1.0 Sec. to .5 sec hitting Command + D will still give me a 1 sec. audio dissolve. But when I changed it from Seconds to Frames, and then changed it to 12 frames I was able to get a half second audio dissolve.

If you edit text in a timeline to and you only perform a cut (aka "add edit) without splicing in or lifting out pieces out, after a short delay the timeline with jump in response to the change - landing "somewhere around" where you performed the change. The combination of the delay AND the jump is awkward and hard to keep track of where you are. My instinct is the time's position should not change just because you made an "Add edit".

My Audio settings seem to be in order, I believe there might be a bug.

I've been working on a project for a few weeks. It contains quite a few linked AE comps. Today, in PPRo Beta 24.3.0x17, I double-clicked one of the comps (it has quite a few text layers in it) only to see ALL the text layers as editable things in the Effect Controls palette - and lo and behold, I can edit any of them! I did not set the comp up as a mogrt. This is amazing...not having to faff with mogrts (which are great until you update them and have to delete them from the library...and re-import them...and PPro saves them to god-knows-where)! Has this been a thing for a while and I'm just catching up, or is this Breaking News?!

On 15.1 but with early access to transcription.  I've generated transcript and captions. I now want to remove the transcript (as it will not reflect edits made) and work just with the caption track. Is this possible? Thanks

I had downloaded a mogrt file from MixKit the other day. Used in Premiere Beta. Worked fine. Today... no workie. I've tried others and they work. This one works in previous version of Premiere, but not the new beta. So, dunno if its only that one or what, but it did work before in Beta.
