Premiere (Beta)

Hi, I have used text based editing for months but it has stopped working. I can't highlight text in the trasncript panel. The automatically select in/out button is on. 

I've been using this for the past 48 hours and it's beyond frustrating to function with. Several times per hour, clips start acting oddly. When they do this, I can't apply effects, or control the effects and audio playback drops out even though it's active on the timeline. The worst glitch in this update is when clips spontaneously cease to be able to be moved around the timeline at all. They sort of, overlap each other when I attempt to move them causing me to have to restart my machine to solve the issue. A simple reboot of the program doesn't solve this. This isn't usable or reliable right now. I've had to tell my entire team to turn off auto updates as a result.  Is anyone else experiencing this? any remedies? Im running on a new MacBook Pro M3 with ample memory available.

I've had to tell my entire team to turn off auto updates as a result.  I am used to smooth functionality from Premiere Pro.  Is anyone else experiencing this? any remedies? I have attached a screenshot of what a frozen sequence looks like on my end. Purple clips overlap when I try to move their location.  MacBook Pro M3 with ample memory available.So

Is Project Fast fill already in the Beta Version of Adobe Premiere Pro 2024?

Not able to edit smoothly, audio or video does not play during editing. 

I am excited to introduce a new feature that streamlines rough cut cleanup. You can now select all dialogue by a particular speaker in the transcript and quickly remove it from the video. This feature facilitates the removal of any irrelevant dialogue from your timeline, especially interviewers or other off-camera conversations in unscripted content.   How it works In the Text Panel -> Transcript tab -> top-left corner, click on the Filter icon and select “Speakers” In the speaker drop-down menu, select the person whose dialogue you want deleted Click “Delete”       Notes You can only delete dialogue on a Sequence/Timeline. Footage cannot be deleted from Source transcriptions. Make sure to rename speakers in your Source transcript since “Speaker 1” could be two different people in two different source clips.   Feedback Does it work as expected? Is the user experience smooth with minimal clicks? What else?

Apply the effect to a single clip or to an Adjustment Layer over your whole timeline. When applied to an Adjustment Layer you can set the Source Track the effect will read. Have been using Text-based editing successfully until yesterday. Normally using Delete (Ripple) would remove both the selected text, video selected and ripple the delete to pull clips together.It does select the video portion, so I'm using Extract to remove and ripple the deleted section. But, then have to go back to the Transcript and manually delete the text.Really like this feature and hope it will be in the regular version soon!Thanks
