Premiere Elements

Hello. I'm doing 4K video editing with Premiere elements 2021 and would like to know how to make the software run smoother when editing. I have an intel i7 processor (6th generation), 16 GB of ram, an ssd (which stores the system and Premiere Elements) and a HDD (which stores the rushes; eventually, I will be able to copy the rushes to the ssd before mounting). I want to speed up the render calculation when I apply any effect (especially stabilization) to see the result properly while editing, and improve the speed of the calculation for exporting. My rushes are in H264 and I export in H264 (I found this in the Premiere Elements documentation: documentation ) During a render, my processor is at 100%, the memory has about 6GB free, and the hard drives do not exceed a few percent. So I tell myself that the best thing to do initially is to help the processor with a graphics card. Is this a good choice, will I see a difference in Premiere Elements? If so, which graphic card to choos

The last half dozen exported videos have frozen / stopped rendering at 98%I cannot close Premel 21 normally but must use the Task Manager methodWhen I get to my desktop (where I save my videos to) I find the edited video was in fact saved even thoughPremel showed frozen at 98%Any guess as to what might be causing Premel to freeze stop at 98% and not closing normally?

I have an NVidia GEForce GTX 1060 6 GB GPU.  The GPU shows up as being supported on the list here:https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/gpu-acceleration.html#recommended_cards However, in Premiere Elements 2021 when I go to Preferences->General, the detected graphics processor is correctly identified as the GTX 1060, but it states that it is unsupported.I'm running Windows 10 21H1 and have updated my Nvidia drivers to the latest version. I tried contacting support and they walked me through that is clearly a generic debugging list:Delete the preference files for Premiere ElementsMake sure that the program folders had read/write permissionsDouble check my computer's capabilities (i7-7700 with 32 GB)I'm running on a local admin account.  I gave up when they tried getting me to create a new local test account on Windows afte I spent an hour with them. I'm open to other suggestions.  Carlos

I am using Premiere Elements 15. I simply want to edit video clips to upload to Adobe Stock, such as mute the audio and do some cutting. Elements always creates a project with an extension of "prel". I don't want a project. I just want my edited video to be in the file folder that it was in originally, just like they are when I correct photos with Photoshop. I can't seem to figure out how to do this.

Hi, I am having problems exporting a video in elements 2021. When I select the 'Disc' option and then down in the dialogue box select Disc instead of ISO Images, on selecting the DVD drive (external), I get the message 'No burners detected'. Is my DVD drive faulty? I can read other dvds perfectly.

I am unable to export a finished video because the error message "Shake reduction is in progress or has encountered an error" appears.It continues "Please restart export once process is complete or resolve the error and try again."  How to I find and resolve this error ??

Apologies for a naive question; I am new to Premiere Elements and I am trying to learn on the fly.  I have a project  which is a video of my father and another project which is a video of my grandmother.  I would like to create one DVD for my mom which is a combination of both.  How can I do this?

In Elements 12 my tools, on the right, and layers, on the left, all disappeared. In the Window menu, Tools is checked but Layers is unchecked. I tried checking it but nothing happens. A post on this subject said to update Preferences, but I'm not sure what exactly to do there. Clicking Reset Panels didn't help either. Thanks so much for any suggestions.

I am helping out a newbe photographer in another state. My plan is to download the trial version of Elements so I am able to walk him thru the process. He has purchased the full version of Elements which I feel will more than suit his needs. I currently use Photoshop for my commercial work but I am not familiar with Elements. My questions are, 1) is the trial version a full version (I am not concerned with watermarks as I only need to see all the controls)? Will downloading and installing the trial in any way mess with my current Photoshop (vs 22.4.0)? I plan to delete Elements as soon as I get my friend up to speed. Thanks in advance, David

I purchased Elements 12 in 2013; I have the store receipt, box, discs, etc. Since that time, I've been using it without issue until last week when I suddenly received the message that my "trial was expired". Curious. I've tried licensing Elements again, without luck, and/or putting in the serial number. Any suggestions, please?

Only sound is imported. How do I import 4K video from GoPro7 to Premiere Elements 2018?

Newbie questions -1) One time purchase - unlike Adobe photoshop, Adobe elements is a one time purchase and you need not buy or upgrade unless you want to?  2) Reinstallation - you can install in two devices and re-install mutliple times?

Hello everyone,Premiere Elements 14 is not opening, the cursor just rolls and nothing happens.  No error msg, nothing.  Already rebooted, installed updates, checked these forums.  Called customer support and they directed me here, where the same previously posted question says contact cust support.  Is there some driver I'm missing or what? If I uninstall and re-install the software will I lose all my projects/files/ clips?  Thanks for any info.-Cecilia

I have recently upgraded my MacOs from 10.13 to Version 11.4 and now Premiere Elements 2018 willl not work?The application files are still in the Applications folder. How do I restore this application please?Thanks Mike

Hello, i'm french so sorry if my english is not perfect. I'm using Elements (Photoshop+Premiere) since 3 versions at least, and i have mainly been satisfied with them. I'm not using very advanced features, basic cuts and simple transitions. For a few days, i just can't use Premiere : it starts normally, loads all files, and as soon as i move the cursor to preview, Premiere will freeze after several seconds... I'm using a Surface Book, i5 . All other programs work well (including Photoshop Elements).My SSD has about 50 GB free, could it be less than necessary and the reason why Premiere won't work ?Thanks for your ideas.Jerome 

My videos straight out of the camera play flawlessly straight out of my Panasonic FZ1000, but when I edit them on Premel they are not recognized by my TVs media player.  I searhed google and found this is a known problem. I have converted the problematic edited videos to avi and mpeg files and they cannot be recognized either. Has anyone had this problem and been able to solve it with a workaround?  Thanks for your help

Hi,I am using Adobe Premiere 2019. I just started working with a green screen(paper) to create videos for my wife. I am duplicating her video tracks with the bottom track Gaussian blurred and the top track at 50% Opaque. I found this creates a really nice soft focus for her. I tried the chroma key effect but opted for Videomerge as that is almost perfect in removing the green. I insert a nice blurred room to replace the green screen color. Everything is fine until I want to fade out the ending. I know it has something to do with 50% opaque to zero vs 100% to zero on the two tracks. I fiddled with adjusting the fade to start back up at 100% but I cant get all three elements fading at same rate so she either dissapears off screen or is still there when the background is black. Unless there is an easy answer I am probably just doing a hard cut at end.Sorry if i am not too clear but any help would be appreciated.RegardsAndrew

Hi,I am mainly an amateur photographerI purchased Premiere Elements 10 in a bundle with Elements 10 some y7ears ago.I have updated Elements Organizer and Editor a few times since and am now using Elements 2018.I have never been much into Video and have never used or updated Premiere Elements 10.I now want to use Premiere to convert my Organizer Albums into slide shows but am having all sorts of problems. I am an active member of the “Elements and More” forum and Sepiana suggested that I contact you.In the tutorial am advised that Premiere 10 does not accept image sizes larger than about 6 mp. and that I should resize the images:if I am using standard definition out put   they should be resized to 1000 x 750If I am using HDV                                  they should be resized to 2000 x 1500Some of my jpg images

Newbie trying to apply cross-dissolve transition to all frames on 'Quick' view video editor.  Followed instructions and appears to have applied on monitor view but when I try and preview on monitor by using space bar or export and view the transition has not applied.  Is there an interim step I have missed?

I am using Premiere Elements 2021 on a Mac (with Catalina).  I am trying to sync up a bunch of clips on the timeline and need to make adjustments within several frames.  I am able to zoom in fully to make adjustments, but it is extremely tedious to zoom & out, adjust the cursor, play the clip, zoom in fully again, make another adjustment, zoom out to see the cursor, etc.    It would be extremely helpful if the keyboard shortcuts for this worked.  I found the list below on the Adobe help site and in several other online forums, but these shortcuts don't do anything on my system.  I do have the clip selected and have tried different zoom levels when activating the keyboard shortcut, but nothing seems to work.    Nudge Clip Selection Left Five Frames: Opt+Shift+,Nudge Clip Selection Left One Frame: Opt+,Nudge Clip Selection Right Five Frames: Opt+Shift+.Nudge Clip Selection Right One Frame: Opt+. Has anyone else figured this out o
