Premiere Elements

I recently bought Premiere Elements 2021 and edited my first video with it. After I finished editing, I tried to burn my project to a DVD+R in my disk drive. The program wouldn't let me burn a DVD, and I received these messages from Premiere: The first message was "Invalid location. The drive you have chosen is a DVD/CD drive. Please choose another location." Isn't that the drive I want to use to burn a DVD? The second message was "Status: Invalid Folder Location". Thanks for any help I can get.

I am trying to download the animations which are standard in Premiere elements, but every time I get the error message that the server is not available. Does anyone know if something is wrong with the server? I want to add some fireworks to a videoframe in my film but it does not work unfortunatly. I hope someone can help me (hopefully in Dutch but English is also oke). Regards,Angélique 

I am working on a video prject where i have added background music to some pictures and video clips. I want the music in those sound clips to fade out instead of just stopping abruptly. I know this is possible but i just cannot find out how to do it. Could someone guide me? I would be very grateful for a little help with this.

I understand when you import a file you are just creating a link to the original file.When you drag it over onto the timeline a copy of it is made in the project panel.My question is what do you do with it after the edit,after you shorten it,color correct and SAVE. If I don't want to leave it on the timeline can I drag it back to the bin? Do I "clear it",,can I delete the original file and just keep the edited one?Also,can I keep an edited clip to use in another project?,,if so how?I've watched U Tube videos and I don't see an an answer, so if anyone has a link to a tutorial,,GREAT !! Any help is much appreciated .Thank you,,,

Hello, When I Set a file to export, it gives a size to expect (Using my most recent export as an example) ex: 4.54 GB. However, the actual exported file is only 1.58 GB.  In Version 18 that I used previously, the files nearly matched. Very curios as to what is happening.Thank you,Frank

Using Elements 2021 for the first time. Every time I attempt to open a file, the program stalls and fails to open, let alone add the file to the timeline. Please advise

Hi all, I am having premiere elements 2020 video editor locking up on me when trying to add transitions to a slide show, have tried using the adobe cc cleaner before reinstalling the software but the problem keeps coming back. I did notice that there is an appdata file that keeps growing with thousands of files in associated to PSE so I deleted them and retrieved 24 GB of data with no ill effectts. Have tried the adobe customer service, but we just keep going round in circles. Anyone any ideas.   Moving from Using the Community (which is about the forums) to the correct forum... Premiere Elements is not rendering, nor is the render bar showing.  When I select "Render" the video clip merely plays.

I suddenly can`t open Premiere Elements 15 - Video Editor. I've had Premiere Elements 15 for a few years and use it weekly.  Now  Editor Premiere Elements 15  will not open No error messages.I can open the Organizer, but not Video Editor. I have tried uninstalling and installing again. Anyone know how to fix this?

Having edited clips to export, premier elements 19 cannot see the 2 timeline work area markers and cannot define and render work area?They have disappeared and how can I get them back?I have not touched or updated the programThanksvince

im trying to reinstall photoshop elements 14, unformtunalty its saying i need to deativate a computer before i can reinstall. unfortunatly i have no thother computers with this on, how do i fix this.

Hi guys I haven use premiere elements 12 for a while but when I tried to start it up, the app just crash when trying to load some quicktime plugin. I had tried reinstalling it and visual programe but the issue still persisted.  Hopefully someone here have the solution to it. Thank you.

i was going to finish up the fathers day 2021 video but later on that evening, when i clicked on video editor... it was loading but for too long. i uninstall it and then reinstall it and try again but it still doesnt work. i don't know whats wrong, i just need help ASAP. thank you. 

Can someone help me to make my video in Adobe Elemets (NOT PRO) 2020 to a Vertical video in 9:16 format......?It wil not make me change the Frame size Horizontal 1920 - Vertical 1080to the 9:16 format Horizontal 1080 - Vertical 1920!I can not the the black sides to get away in adobe, even i have filmed it with phone Vertical.If i try to save it in Mobil and Custom format, and i change it to 9:16, then the video get half size  :o( Hope someone can help me and explain it simpel 🐵 Thx Johnnie  

How do you set the Video Thumbnail before rendering/saving the Video in Premiere elements? 

Hi there, I have just started to use Premiere elements and I have fallen at the first fence! My very first video I have tried to import (MP4) and I keep getting "The importer reported a generic error" I am using a Mac. Not a good first impression really 🤔 🤔 Any guidance greatly appreciated! How do you apply a stroke to a font from scratch?  When we enter new text in a default text box, we cannot select the STROKE option from the COLOR PROPERTIES dialog for the selected text.  Interestingly, we can choose certain styles from the text menu, that include outlining, and see that the stroke (outline) option is available for those styles from the COLOR PROPERTIES dialog.  Are strokes (outlining) only available for certain fonts or all fonts?  Why can't we apply a stroke to a basic font such as Arial? Thank you for any assistance.

We are working with video titles and text in Premiere Elements.  However, we have a dilemma with applying animated motion effects to text as follows: FIRST, it appears that a text animation, such as Spin Up animation, plays out over the full length of the inserted title video clip.  Therefore, the clip must be short in order to have the motion play out quickly.  At least for now, we see no way to shorten the duration of the text animation effect while extending the display of the non-animated text following the animation.  Are there properties we can adjust to limit the duration of the animation at the beginning of a longer title clip? SECOND, in order to have the word or line remain displayed following the effect, do we have to duplicate the word or line as a separate clip following the animated clip and extend the static clip out to the end of the video so it will remain displayed? THIRD, is there an effect for making a text word or line FLASH

DEAR ADOBE,The Write - On effect does not work for some reason. I know if you can build a Bezier line in photoshop illustrator and all your other software... I'm sure you can get update the software to actually make this feature work. Please do this as there is no one able to use this feature. Please, allow this feature to work. Even Steve Grisetti says it doesnt work. Sad user.

Has anyone successfully used the write-on effect with Premiere Elements 2021?  It seems like I can only position the brush with the coordinates and not by selecting anything graphically.  The onnline help about the feature is useless:https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/effects-reference.html#generate I've also looked at this:http://atr935.blogspot.com/2017/03/pe-write-on-video-effect.html However, there is no circled brush position.  Am I missing something or does this feature just not work?

Merci de m'iniquer un tutorielvraiment destiné à ceux qui n'ont encore jamais touché à Premiere Elements, si ça existe bien sûr.Un petit exempleJ'ai enregistré un film en fotmat ts, qu j'ai converti en format mp4. Première tentative : je veux couper les séqunces inutiles au début et à la fin.J'ai commencé par galérer avant de comprendre que pour faire apparaître les ciseaux qui figurent dans l'aide, il ne faut pas me metre en mode rapide mais en mode expert.Ensuite j'ai réussi à me positioner à 9mn et à 1h59mn et à actionner le ciseaux sur ces deux positions. Mais maintenant je ne sais pas comment extraire le morceau qui est entre ces deux points.En mode expert je en vois rien sauf "Exporter" mais si je clique dessus on me parle d'une video qui dure 2h15 donc rien n'eest coupé. En mode "Guidé" rien ne correspond à mon cas. En mode "Rapide" je vois plusieurs morceaux correspondaant à mes coupes, et parmi eux, un morceau de 1h50 qui correspond tout à fait. Hello all! Looking for some help here as I've tried multiple fixes on my own and suggested fixes I've found online to no avail.  When making text titles my Style tab suddenly went blank on my last project. I was able to copy and paste from previous styles I already had in the project to get by, but now the tab remains blank in all of my new projects. (screenshot attached) I'm trying to figure out how to get the various text styles to show again. Elements and creative cloud have been updated.  Thank you!
