Hi everyone,I'm using Premiere Elements 12.1 and since 1-2 months ago it will not start up anymore. The loading banner appears, gets to ImporterQuickTime.prm and then disappears again with nothing else happening.I already tried reinstalling and deleting the "Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs" file.I recently did a graphics card driver update, so that might be related. The Adobe support said that they don't support this old version anymore. I don't want to go back to the old graphics driver, because it would break other programs that need the new one.System info:Windows 10Premiere Elements 12.1 (20140225.12.1.620828)Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 850M with newest driver 461.09Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much!
Premiere Elements 2021 is running very slow alternating between option screens & trying scroll through effects and I have a top very high end brand new very very powerful 2019 iMac upgraded to 64GB Ram, 8GB Graphics Card i5 9th Generation 6 core 3.7GHZ with a 2TB Fusion Drive (128GB SSD) yet Premiere is so so slow, and performs better on my 2015 Windows Laptop speed wise, which is 16GB RAM i7 and 2GB Nvidia Graphics Card with a 2TB SSD which is overall lower spec pretty much. I am not the only person with this issue either who has a brand new 2019 iMac I see on this forum with these issues. The performance is very disapointing as at the time in the summer I brought the second most high spec iMac available on the market, and its runs better on a 5 year old windows laptop nowhere near as powerful! Something is wrong here - i.e testing or a patch needs to be released! I've had your tech support on chat reinstall Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 on my iMac and I still have the same is
When I add still photos the images looks fine on the thumdnail on the timeline but on the large preview at the top it is much larger than the frame and I only see a protion of the photo. I can resize but have to do that for each individual image. I must have something wrong in a basic setup somewhere but I don't know where. Please help
So screen capturing for me shows weird green stuff at the bottom of the video when I drop it into Elements. Can't see anything about it when searching online, only people with lines through entire video. Have latest drivers (nvidia rtx 2070 super). Doesn't do it when I drop into Adobe Premiere Pro cs6, and doesn't do it with my 4k drone footage. Also doesn't have problem when watching the original recorded video, only when dropped into elements. Does it with any type of screen capture. I use the windows + G recording on win10. Any ideas?
So I have extensively organized photos and videos using these programs, and also created several slide shows. These videos used to playback just fine on my Asus laptop with the fastest Intel processor available in 2017, plust a Nvidea GEforce 950m graphics processor with 4gb of videoRAM. Also 16gb ddr RAM. Now, nothing but freezes and crashes with no video playback, or slideshow previews or playback! I have already checked and changed the settings that should have cured this problem, and Adobe Tech support went on my PC for 3 hours trying to fix this, to no avail! Other programs including VLC media player, and Pinnacle Studio playback and edit videos just fine, but this program will not work! The latest Windows 10 is installed! All seems it's good for now is organizing my photos! Any suggestions on getting this program to work? Would a complete re-install solve the problem, after I backup the catolog?
While attempting to edit a file (each time it's an .mp4), I can load the video, but I can't see any edits I make & I can't play the video on the timeline. It's an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035g1 CPU @1.00GHz 1.20 GHZ. The installed RAM is 8.00 GB (7.70 usable). The system type is a 64-bit operating system on Windows 10 Home.
HI there,I would like to know how to remove the "created with Premiere Pro Elements trial version" watermark that is permanently displayed across my working canvas, and presumably on the rendered project too. This is very inconvenient. Many thanks
I shot a video on my iphone 11. Imported it into Adobe Premiere Elements on my PC and did some editing. When I sent it back to my iphone, it categorized it as a "File" and is not showing up in my photos, but is showing up under Files. What settings do I need to use when exporting, so that my iPhone will recognize my video as a Photo?
I started a new project in PE 2020. Set video to DV 720x480. Import a video that is 720x480 and now the project is showing 640x480.
External HDD’s (Hard Disk Drives) are everywhere, and quite popular. These allow one to increase the storage capacity of a system greatly, quickly and easily, for not that much money. We now have many sizes, and many connection types. Some connection types are better than others, if one is doing more than off-loading data to archive it, and perhaps free up internal HDD space. With the right connection type, one can also edit to/from the external HDD’s. Again, some connection types are better than others. Note: for editing Video, the physical HDD’s need to be at least 7200 RPM.For simple archiving, any connection type will work well. In that process, files are just written to the external HDD, and when needed, read from the external HDD. The problem comes in, when one tries to edit to/from the external HDD. Most current computers are faster than the slower connection types can manage. The OS is firing commands for reads/writes too fast. The OS expects rapid response, and can overwhelm t
I'm using exactly the same installation of Premiere Elements 2021 on two different machines. When rendering the working area (Render Button or Enter key), the PC starts rendering while playing the working area, my Laptop shows a "Render information" popup showing the rendering progress. Is there any way to control the behavior ? I only found "Play after rendering" option, but that does not change the appearance or not of the popup. Thanx for any ideas.
I am trying to adjust my audio fade out by using the yellow ribbon in the audio track (I was successful on one clip). Now it is not showing up. I have looked everywhere and don't seem to find anything that will make it show. How do I make this show so I can adjust the fade in fade out to my likeing?
I have Premier Elements 2021 and an up-to-date PC with plenty Ram and all up to date drivers. Generally working well but whilst in PE it will not export to Youtube. However if I go into Organiser select the file Organiser will then export to You tube why? [title and text edited by mod]
Trying to capture video from my old Sony DV camcorder...My Windows 10 pc recognizes the camera, which is connected to a Firewire cable and port, but Elements is not seeing it. Any ideas why that might be?..This device is on the list of supported dvices...I have a brand-new Dell PC with Intel Core i7 and 2 graphics cards - Intel UHD 630 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super
How do I get the frame size for the work space to set at 1920 x 1080 on my Premiere Elements 2021 so I can then upload the finished video to Youtube/Vimeo at the full frame size in HD without the black bars?
Hi, anybody knows how to turn on polish fonts / polish signs in subtitles or text in Premiere Elements 2020?
PrE 2021 still doesn't support HEVC video files at least not the version used by latest iPhones when shooting HDR video. Adobe support spent over an hour remotely trying different things on my system and finally gave up. They sent me an email that said, "The HEVC files from iPhone 12 are reported to have issues with Adobe Premiere Elements. We have raised the request to our engineering team and they are investigating a fix. At the moment, we do not have a workaround, but we will share an update via email."Interestingly enough Adobe Premiere Rush on the PC imports the same HEVC without any issues, so Adobe knows how to do it they just need to fix PrE 2021 and issue an update. In the meantime, there are several video format converters available such as Uniconverter or you can edit the videos on the phone with several different video editing apps. Note that although you can import the files in Premiere Rush, either the IOS app or the PC version
Have they improved handling of HEVC files in AP2021?I have serious issues with HEVC files from GoPro in AP2020 including:Problem1: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements/ape-2020-scrambles-2-7k-120fps/m-p/10841754?page=1Problem 2: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-elements/cross-dissolve-transition-not-working-with-hevc-files-pe2020/m-p/11218109?page=1Problem3: AP2020 freezes when working with high frame rate (slow motion) video from GoPro I’ll try to install trial version but it might behave differently to full version due to lack of GPU acceleration.
My timeline at times starts to scroll left or right when I move the mouse off the timeline area. In the past I have been able to click around and it would finall behave normally. But today no dice. It I move mouse to top, left or right of timeline area it takes off. Using Win 8.1.
I purchased a download version of Premiere Elements 2021 this week. I was able to install it. But when I try to launch it I get as far as a window that says "Loading PlayerMediaCore.pm" and then it freezes. What should I try to make it work? Thanks
I will not buy a 4k camera, but I did want to test my new computer with some 4k video I downloaded some sample files from https://4ksamples.tumblr.com/ I have the HEIF and HEVC codecs... I didn't install them, so I presume they came with Win10 H.264 and HEVC inside an MP4 wrapper work... HEVC inside an ENCM wrapper won't play or load Anyway, the MP4 files work just fine on the timeline, I don't notice any playback delaysor artifacts... so my computer with Premiere Elements 2021 works just fine with 4k video My build is at https://community.adobe.com/t5/video-hardware/a-fast-video-editing-computer-build-for-2-000/td-p/11707151?page=1
After spending 2 hours editing a video I can't export it. I get this error. Anybody know a fix?
I am currently unable to output any of my projects. It says I need to Activate Component (MPEG2 Component). And to activate it, it provided this link http://www.adobe.com/go/premiereel_encoder. That page no longer exists and I'm unable to activate the encoder. Are there other ways to Activate this component? Adobe Premiere Elements 9, Windows 7
Hi I'm using a Windows Essentails trial (Video editor) to identify how to capture recordings from a camcorder. The Hi8 tapes are generally 90 minutes long. When capturing the recording, it only allows the file capture to be AVI format. A 90 minutes recording is therefore huge. It tells me that the 15Gb left on my hard drive will only allow a 44 minutes recording. I cannot change the import format as AVI is the only import standard. Is there a better way (more efficient) to record 90 minutes from tapes? Thanks
Hi, I've been diving into PE2018 and now PE2021 this year like I didn't expect. But alas, in this weird year of 2020, what else is there to do but learn cool new skills. 🙂 I'm a singer and a musician and this year have been learning how to produce virtual choir videos. We're currently on our 9th project. I posted a few days ago some questions about the new Draw tool in PE2021. In this current project, I have 30 tracks for choir singers, 1 for a soloist, and a few more for music, static background image, titles and credits. I have used the Draw tool on 30 of the choir tracks. This is bogging down my PC much more than in previous projects. So, I've a few questions about PCs and video cards. Please let me know if this is not the right forum to post these questions. As a musician, I build my PCs, optimized for audio work. Here are the specs of my current machine, roughly 5 yrs old: i7 5820K (Haswell E), ASRock X99 Extreme 4 sys board, 32GB DDR4-2132, OS = Win 10, Samsung
