Premiere Elements

I have Smart Sound disks.  Can this music be used with this version of elements?

When I import an audio file into the timeline, it messes it up.  It sort of sounds like the audio is either echoed or is being fast forwarded.  I've included a quick video.  It's an MP3 file.  Any ideas on what the issue is?

When burning multiple discs, the last disk fails to burn correctly.  It doesn't matter whether I burn 2 or 10, it is always the last one that is ruined. I am running Win 10 w/8GB ram. Thank You

A big thank you  to Adobe for fixing my issue with Premiere Elements. My problem was that Premiere Elements would not launch on my Mac. It was showing up in activity monitor and sometimes on my applications title bar but it was not functioning normally. TBH i did give in after reading similar complaints on the web and uninstalled it. Some even suggested that using it on a Mac was my problem. However I have had versions 2011, 14, and 15 and no previous issues. So today I used the vertual assitant and one of Adobe's technicians sorted it out for me using remote access. It all works flawlessly now and I am really pleased with the outcome. A big thumbs up from me! I just wanted to share my positive expereince with the community. As much as we pay for things and expect them to work, I think it important to thank others for their help when problems arise. 

I have just downloaded Premiere Elements 2021 V 19.0.  When I add media, the clip displays properly in the time line, but is a horizontally striped image broken up in the screen above the timeline.  I have attaced a screen image for you to see. Upon loading I am getting this error prompt I've also attached:Failed to Open CatalogThe catalog could not be opened. It is either corrupt, or the version is out of date and cannot be updated. This computer has Premier Elements 2015 Installed but not active. I also formerly attempted to downloaded an Elements 2019 Trial version last year, and see that a 2019 catalog is still in the computer even though the Elements 2019 version was deleted. How should I proceed to get the video image displaying properly? Thanks!   

A year or so ago I bought Adobe Premiere Elements 2019, installed it and it worked find.  Then a few months ago I starged getting green stripes across the preview screen.  I updated all my drivers and that did nothing.  Finally I uninstalled Premiere Elements and tried to re-install with the disk I'd bought.  That didn't work so I downloaded it to install it  and got a screen that says I have the 30 day free trial or I can buy it right now.  I uninstalled that since I'd already paid for it and tried installing with the disk again.  It installed fine but then said I had to sign in and again presented the pop-up that I could start a 30 day free trial and then purchase it or purchase it right now.  Since I already purchased it, why is it giving me this false message?  How do I use my paid for and installed Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 without this happening?  Attached is a screen shot of the message I keep getting.

Hello, It seems I chose wrong project type, instead of DSLR 30p, it's 1080i 29,97. Source is 1080p and 30fps. I've spent long hours to finish my project and I have a real problem during export. Default interlaced export is disater - quality is really low, and interlaced effect is visible. I can choose in export options progresive, but source is still seen as 1080i and y resolution is wrong, what is visible in quality (especially bias lines). How can I cange project type, when it's ready? In project properties 1080i and 29,97fps are locked. 

I have installed Photoshop Elements 2020.  Now when I try to install Premier Elements 2020, from the same email, "Elements.exe" shows in the tray at the bottom but when I click on it, it installs regular elements again (and again, and again, no matter how hard I try.)  What am I missing in the install steps that I need in order for Premier to install?

It's been a while since I've been on this forum.I used ProShow Producer for many years to make slideshows.  It's not functioning well now, and I need another program.I want to make a slideshow, using pictures, create transitions from one image to another.  Then, save the image as an ISO.One file I created with ProShow Producer was nearly 45 Gb.  It rendered the ISO fine, which I was able to burn to a 50 Gb Blu-Ray.Can I do this same thing with Premiere?  Thanks.

Hello All, have just installed a new license of 2021 and on adding a video file to the timeline, see these streaks running horizontally (see attached screenshot). The software is installed on a DELL XPS 15 9500 and have updated all relevant video drivers just in case its a driver incompatibility issue. However, that has not helped. Earlier had installed the 2020 trial copy and had no such issues at all. So its limited to 2021 version alone. Please help! Thanks.

Hi, I just purchased Premiere 2021 and ran immediatly into an issue that I do not have on the 2019 version. When inserting a video clip on the time line the clip color is way off with a green tint along with various colored highlightes.  Intrestingly, when I add an applied effect to the clip it returns to the correct color state, but when I render it it reverts back to the off color state.  Any thoughts please on how I could remedy this siytuation.  Thank you  

I'm using Elements 15 – yes, very old – and I'm going to upgrade to 2021. But I'm in the middle of some projects and wonder if they'll be transferable. Also, I have a number of keyboard customizations, saved as a file – is there a way to transfer them?

I want to export a 10 second clip, my video is 10 minutes. I do not want to export a 10 minute clip, just a 10 second clip from the overall video I'm working on. There seems to be no instructions on how to do that in Adobe Premier Elements 2020. It should be a pretty basic self-explanatory feature.

I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020.When I take a video in portrait mode, after importing it into Adobe Premiere, it looks straight (not sideways) which is what I want and perfectly scaled but after adding some audio to it then trying to export it, it looks like this when played on an iPhone or Android:

Dear Community,  I love Premiere Elements 2020 and i'm getting better at it but i spend way to much time editing.  Always the same problem; images not sharp enough (out of focus) and light (too yellow or too white).  I use a Fuji Finepix S8300 and the 'built in' Camera on my laptop (HP Probook).   It's fair bet that better equipment would help.  However, there's a lot to consider; focus (manual/auto) and white balance seem to be my biggest concerns.  But, I'm a novice so there might be more to consider that I don't even know. From what I have read the Panasonic HC-V770 Camcorder ($500-$600) seems like a good choice for the novice.  It has a manual focus ring and manual settings for white balance.  This way I can start with 'auto focus' and 'automatic white balance' adjustment and dabble with the 'manual' until I get better.  With regards to what I shoot: I work in a special needs school and given our covid situa

When I'm working in the expert timeline, there are times when I'll box-select multiple clips on different tracks, and when I drag them all (say, to get voice-sync) it will split other tracks. It seems to happen mostly when I drag multiple clips over an existing one on a completely separate track. Please see the images. I especially notice this when I have an audio clip in the "voice" or "music" tracks, but it does happen to regular tracks as well - audio and video. After it splits it, it puts the the first part of the split in front of my recently-drug (dragged?) clips, and the second part of the split at the end of these clips. It also "splits" the clip that "got in the way". If I drag a single clip, it never happens. Is this a setting somewhere that I can turn off or a way to make it so it doesn't happen? J’ai acheté un pc dell xps 15 avec photoshop fourni et adobe élément première. quand je veux installer le premier élément et que j’entre le numéro de série, je n’ai que deux choix : mettre un DVD d’installation ou la version essayée de 30 jours. Je n’ai pas de DVD à condition qu’il soit dans mon achat directement dans fourni dans l’odinator. merci à vous tous

All of a sudden I lost sound from all my premiere files.  I can here the mp3 files fine on my computer but when I put them into Premiere - no sound.  I went to preferences>settings> audiohardware and I have no input (none available to select) - have tried changing to every output available.  Still can't hear sond.  Can see it on the meters in Premiere - just can't hear anything 

I am using adobe premier elements 2020 to try to burn a DVD of a video taken with a video recorder. Everything sets up normally and works as expected except it fails to let me export to disc and start the DVD burn saying no burner detected. If I export to .iso file and then burn with both my laptop's and an external DVDRW, they work fine. I used the usb DVDRW drive to test just in case. Have reviewed other adobe posts and went to hp site for the current drivers for the optical drive (standard 650 g2 probook drive), un and reinstalled the drive, multiple reboots, and windows 10 is up to date. Both drives work to burn from other programs like roxio, nero, and even the windows burner.  However adobe says none detected. I tried to find the list of compatible drives since Elements says I dont have a compatible burner but was unable to find said list. Any other suggestions?

Hi.  I've got a new laptop and want to use my old PE 15 on it.  Any way I can re-install on another laptop?  If not, do I have to purchase the latest Premiere Elements? 

I bought and replaced PSe and PRe 11 on my PC some years ago with PSe/PRe 14 and recently bought a laptop which I thought I could put the old PSe11 and PPe11 on.  I have the retail disks(the combined PSe/PRe package) etc and was sucessful with PSe but PRe is coming up with invalid key, which indicates that I didn't decativate PRe 11 when I updated my PC.  No idea how I can get to PE11 as I have no computer with it on (no trace of it on my PC). Alternative is that I buy PSe/PRe 2020 for my new laptop but as 2021 is PC update year, I'm trying to keep software costs down for a bit. I checked my adobe account and neither of my packages are registered (can't remember if you could when I bought them).  Can I still deactivate my old key for transfer?

I have a problem, no sound is heard when I edited video files in Premiere Elements, so I reinstalled the program (both Premiere and Photoshop, I have a DVD with both programs, version 15) because I thought it might fix the error.Now I get this message when I open Premiere and Photoshop.The serial number for my Premiere and Photoshop is already used for the maximum number of computers allowed.You must disable another computer within 30 days in order to use this product.What should I do.Do I have to buy a new version, or can someone help me ???Grateful for help.Regards Ronny

Hi, I´ve bought a Geforce GTX 1650, which should be supported by Premiere Elements, but my Premiere Elements 2020 does not recognize the card. I have updated the drivers, reinstalled Premerie Elements, but the graphics card is still not recognized or deteched. Can you please advise?
