Premiere Elements

I do not know if this is an issue or the way Organizer works.  I just updated to Photoshop and Premire Elements 2021.  Next, I opened a cataloge that had only photos and one of my video files was imported even though it was not in my watch list.  I don't understand why, but that's ok.  I happen to notice that several un-named faces were from the video file.  I can click the face and open the video to that person which is fine. There are two things that I don't understand:1.  I have several photos of one person who have been named.  Should the system reconize this face?2.  Once I named the face I opened the video back up.  There was no indication of who this person was.  I added the name from the viewer clip but the name still does not show up.  Should I be able to see the name in the viewer?ThanksCharles

I installed version 2021 a few days ago and after watching some tutorial videos (entire series starting at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG18DktkToI  plus a few others I found) I started - OS is Windows 10 version 202H   Switch to Expert mode to enter my custom settings for editing -Click Edit-Preferences-General --In Media I changed the location to my temp drive, E:\Adobe--In ScratchDisks I changed each location to my temp drive, E:\Adobe   Click File-New Project give it a name, and select Browse to go to E:\Adobe   Add a few video files using the files option, add them to the timeline -project changes to AVCHD 720p to match my 1280x720 30fps video   Put transition between each clip and play... all works well   Share to computer file... all works well   Share to disc... asked yes/no for menu... select no... program freezes -after a couple minutes, a message "not responding" so have to quit program   When I installed th

FYI, if you have a GPU that is not currently supported in Premiere Elements 2021, you can sign up to be part of the beta testing to try to have your GPU added.    Three caveats: 1> you have to have an activated version of Premiere Elements 2021, it does not work with the trial version.  2> you may have to wait a week or more to get a reply back from the beta test application.  3> if you are accepted and sent the utility to add your GPU, you may need to run the utility more than once to get your GPU added into PRE-2021.   First time I added my GPU, it went on the first run of the utility.  I had to uninstall Premiere Elements afterwards for beta testing purposes, and when I ran the utility again to add my card, it did not go at first run, but a second run of the utility added the card into PRE-2021 and I was able to finish my beta testing. I have an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti and Premiere Elements 2021.  I was recently accepted into bet

Using Premiere Elements 2020 on Windows 10.This is a bit strange.  I'm putting together a simple video -- a title, a video clip, another title, another clip, and so on.  I'm using the default fade in/fade out on all the titles and clips.  It's generally working great.  However, once in a while I notice the fade cuts off part of the video/audio I'd like to keep.  If I catch it early, I can just undo.  But, if I notice it later and try to remove the effect, all the menu or commands to do this are disabled.If I right-click on a clip and then try to select Clip | Remove Effects, the "Remove Effects" menu item is disabled.  If I select a clip and then click on the tool bar to Edit Fx, I can see the Opacity effect.  But I can't delete it because the Trash Can icon is disabled.  My current workaround is to just delete the clip, re-add it, and start over.Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?  I've done 5 of these videos in 5 different proje

 

Using my premiere elements, I saved and exported. Suddenly my computer copy of that video on my was corrupted. All the video was replaced with some chinese media advertisement. This also happed again with another saved video which I did not export.  I do no know where online the file went and how someone corrupted my copy.  I need serious help?and can't seem to contaact Adobe directly... 

I'm having this problem, I´m working with PNG images for a 2.5D or Parallax videos, if I don't press PLAY it appears like is perfect, but when I press PLAY then some black lines are appearing when I put the image on all of the fusion modes, why is this happening, I am just working with images, maybe in the future I´ll be working with videos, but I'm kind of afraid it may happen with videos as well, thanks for you help. First image when I DON'T PRESS PLAY.. (It appears completely perfect)SAME IMAGE BUT THIS TIME WHEN I PRESS PLAY... (Why??) 

I recently purchased Premiere Elements 2021 and when editing I have no playback audio. I have tried changing the input audio hardware under preferences to every option available including "No Input". My output audio device is correct and is the system default. I have also tried other hardware out including realtek devices. I created a bars and tones test in the timeline and see audio in the audio meter. The device selected under audio out is the default device on my system. I have verified sound in my videos and can playback audio in every other app. I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing PE21. I can even hear audio playback when editing with Adobe Premiere Pro. (I purchased Elements for quick editing tasks and uploading direct to Youtube) Thanks.

Hello there, is the (downloadable on demand) music and sound FX library provided within Premiere Elements free for commercial use? Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about that anywhere. Maybe someone can help me out. Thank you!

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 13.1.I have an AVCHD file, which I am unable to import. I receive the following error message; This type of file is not supported or the required codec is not installed.What is my next step (detailed)?I have a 5-hour video of my Dad which I need to edit and I am unable to import. My Dad will be 80-years old in 3-weeks, on April 12, 2017, and I wanted to give this to him as a gift. My "work-around" partially drops the audio. I purchased this version of Adobe Premiere Element last year and I am very annoyed that it appears I may have to purchase a video converter to even use it to edit my video.Does anyone have a "work around" that won't cost me more money?Thank you in advance for any help.I want to give my Dad this amazing gift, please help!

Elements is choppy playback, slow to respond and will not save..... went through all old posts and made adjustments to settings with no avail. Attached is my system which seems to meet the requirements. Any help would be great as it seems Adobe customer support is almost impossible to find help or reach out.

I'm trying to burn a DVD as a Christmas present. It goes through the entire process, but when it gets to the very end, I get an error that says "DVD Burn Interrupted Something his prventing a successful DVD burn.Use the ISO image saved at the folowing location to burn your disk later:" Then it gives me a location that an ISO image should be, but it's nowhere to be found. It's giving me no details on what the error is. Any assistance would be appreciated, as I said this is for a Christmas present, so time is of the essence. -Windows 10, 64-bit-Adobe Premiere Elements 13 Thanks

As I said in the title, I know that Adobe does not support my GPU (GTX-1660-Ti) running in Premiere Elements 2021, even though it is fully supported in the current versions of Premiere Pro,  meaning the GPU itself supports acceleration, therefore Adobe should just need to add it to the list for PE2021....  Wondering if anyone knows how to manually add a GPU to the supported list for Windows edition Premiere Elements 2021.  I'm not a pro, and cannot afford the monthly fee for Premiere Pro, but I do edit 1080p & 4K content that is at times approaching 40 minute run times, so even eliminating timeline rendering can be a big time saver. I've applied to be in the beta test group for GPU acceleration, but no response.   I will also soon be upgrading to a RTX-3070 card - once they come back in stock that is. I've already tried a couple things found through Google search, and suggestions from another forum, that supposedly worked with older versions

hi  I have video with sound I have  imported to premiere 2020 and try to play it .The video plays ok but I have no sound although there is a audio graph showing .  The video plays ok when I run it elsewhere but I want to edit it in premiere .  Has any body any clues to what causes this to happen ?Previous playbacks a few days ago were ok. Something has changed  

Trying to make a movie and when I opened the program today I have green and black lines going across the entire screen. Can someone help? I have deleted the movie and uninstalled the program and reinstalled. Still have the lines. 

Hello,I was, till December 2nd, using 2019 i.e. 17 versions of PsE and PrE. On December 3rd I purchased online the 2021 versions of these softwares and installed them with success, without uninstalling previous 17 version.I was successful in adapting a previous Element Organizer catalog to a 2021 version.On the contrary, I face numerous difficulties in using a previous PrE 17 project: even after inactivating 2021 Autoanalyser on machine start, my PrE projects often crashes and an error generator is created: I just filled one and sent it to Adobe.In order to be able to operate normaly PrE 19, should I first uninstall 17 and 19 versions, then reinstall the new 19 version ?I have looked ad various Adobe help articles and did not found any answer to this simple question.Last question : should I do the same with PsE, i.e. uninstalle 17 and 19 versions and then reinstall 19 version ? Something seems to be strange with Pan & Zoom in PE 2021 compared to PE 14 (on Windows).I have photos of landscapes (no faces).  With PE 14 I would select the clip with the image & adjust the focus frames 1 & 2. With PE 2021 when I open the Pan & Zoom tool I get the two focus frames but I cannot move frame 1.When I click on frame 1 it opens up a new frame 2 which I can move (what was frame 2 is now frame 3).The only thing I can do with frame 1 is to delete it - then the new frame 1 (was the inserted frame 2) can be moved & resized OK.Seems a rather odd state of affairs.  Am I missing something?

Hi,which image format do I have to create for a bluray-disc or dvd?I use Nero Burning to create a bluray and dvd because my extern bluray writer is not compatiblewith Premiere Elements 2021.I tried different kinds of formats. No format works.Pls help, I´m a little bit desperated.ThxHendrik

I just grabbed premiere elements 20 since Pinnacle Studio has given me issues for years. So far Premiere has been great, but seems to have one fatal flaw that is making it unusable to me. I run encryption software that acts like a removeable drive. After I "unlock" my encrypted drive it shows up as a drive in windows which gets treated like removeable media. My issue is that I have several Terabytes of clips on this encrypted drive that I need to use in Premiere, but it wont let me use them without importing them first. I DO NOT want to have to copy the files off the encrypted drive to another location just to use them in premiere since this would defeat the purpose of me using encryption. I will always have the encrypted drive running so premiere has access to the files when editing / rendering. Is there anyway I can trick premiere into thinking my encrypted drive is a network drive and not removeable media?

Please see the attached screenshot. Just bought Premiere Elements 2021, used on a fairly new laptop with i7 8850 prcessor, 32 GB memory) (Dell Precision). But, immediately after I loaded any photo or video into the project working space, the upper half of the work space will be glitched like in the attached screenshot. Howver, if  I export the project out, the finished product looks just fine. I am completely new to Adobo Premiere. Anyone could give me some suggestion on what could go wrong? Appreciate it!   

Installed Premiere Elements 2021 on 12/1 and although I can import files (seems slow)-audio track is showing "blank" even though the clip has audio. When played there is no sound.  Background and trouble shooting so far. Ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.  -Using a 3 month old Dell XPS Workstation, Windows 10 OS, operating system and drivers up to date. -Until I "upgraded" was using Premiere Elements 2018 (still have it installed on the workstation)-Verified video clips (tested several) work in Premiere Elements 2018 with no problem. Can edit - there is audio - and the audio is displayed - all good. After editing can export. -Here is one of the same video clips in PE 2021 - shows no audio on the video clip.     -In Premiere Elements 2021 changed the Audio Hardware Input default to none (originally the app. picked up the Yeti mic that was attached but the audio section was showing no audio). Closed and tried again. No luck.-Removed
