Premiere Elements

I've been using Premiere Elements for a few years now with no problems.  Just went to use it again yesterday and it is having problems with .mp4 files.  Import my mp4 file per usual and itshows up unclear with green lines across it, making it impossible to work with (see screen shot).  The file looks fine in the project assets window, and exports cleanly.  And you can view the file in its original format and after exporting using other software -- you just cannot see it properly to edit.Am using Premiere Elements 2018 with Windows 10 operating system.  After an hour-long online chat with support, they finally tell me they don't support that version anymore.  So I upgraded to 2021 and it's still an issue.Help?

 Hi, I never use this panel: Legacy Title Style. And it's annoying for me everytime I open a title it's appears again and again. I tried to Close Panel but it's appears again when I open a title. Can I turn it off, it, so it never appear again?

Hi I am struggling to get Premiere Elements 14 to let me use a keyboard shortcut to mark music beats on the timeline using the shortcut asterisk key on the numeric keypad. I have also tried to change the preset key to something else but that didn't work either. The asterisk key intermittently works to put an unnumbered timeline marker on the timeline if the project is not playing. I however want to insert manual beat markers while the project/music is playing as I don't like the way the auto beat detect works. I don't find it very good at identifying the dominant beat.Any suggestions pleaseKind regardsLinda

Hello!I am close to giving up here now. I record videos in-game with audio from the game itself + that I speak into my microphone. The whole procedure works fine, I create an mp4-file. When I open that file in Win10 i see and hear everything, i.e. my speaking and the in-game audio as well as video.BUT, when I then upload that mp4-file into premiere elements to add my own intro video and outtro video I do not have my mic audio included when I click play in premiere elements - only video and i-game audio, but not my speaking.So, mp4-file -> all okin premiere elements -> no mic-sound availableWhy? What can I do?

Le bouton "Installer la mise à jour" est inopérant, rien ne se passe et il n'y a rien de prévu pour supprimer la fenetre, l'ordinateur est bloqué, la seule action possible est de forcer l'extinction.J'ai lu quelque part que ce problème était connu et que la solution était de mettre à jour "Adobe application manager". c'est ce que j'ai fait mais le problème persiste.Comment se débarasser de cette fenêtre ?

I'll hear my PC's fan going nuts and I look at my Resource Monitor and ElementsAutoAnalyzer.exe is gobbling up all of my CPU. I found this help page https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/auto-analyzer-preferences.html but the preferences it shows DO NOT EXIST. I checked for updates and none exist.

I have a video file that is one of several that I was using to create a short video for Facebook posting.After I had made the short video and ensured it was as I wanted it to be, I attempted to delete the original video files. All of them were deleted except for one. I keep getting a pop-up message telling me that that file cannot be deleted because it is still open in something called auto creations. That message is shown in the attachment.How do I delete that file?? What is the "Auto Creation"?

I just installed the Big Sur update on my Mac and now I can not add any files to start a new project in my Adobe Premiere Elements 2020.  I get a generic code error and media files say Media Failure.Is there an update from Adobe to make this work????? Thanks,Dave

The program has stopped working. It will not load up. Have tried reinstalling but still nothing

Hi, today I bougth Premeiere Elements 21 and installed it on my iMac 27" with Big Sur 11.0.1 installed.Installation war quite fine and without problems. But when I want to start PE and chose the Video editor is loading all the bundels and at the end the program crashes. Tried everything but I can't get PE 21 to start. Uninstalled it and also uninstalled all the other Adobe Programs (Lightroom, Creative Cloud...), did a restart and installed it again... Same problem. So I spent 60 bucks for the new version and even can't use it. I used to work with PE for several years and it was all right so far. Any ideas? Best regardsChris

Hi everyone,  I have recently downloaded premiere elements 2021 and upon importing files, the programme stops working. The video preview player does not actually load the clip I'm clicking on. When I try to close the programme it crashes and becomes unresponsive.  I am using a laptop with 8GB Ram and using Windows 10. 

Premiere elements allows users to edit graphics in photoshop elements. Once edited how are they saved back into Premiere elements? Can i add graphics to Premiere elements? I am trying to edit a graphic for tracking object function.

I'm trying Premiere Elements 2021 "trial" to verify the compatibility with the GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 in my laptop; the GPU is detected and declared as supported but the check box to select it is disabled.

In my current project in PE2021, I have 32 tracks, including 21 videos with Green Screen Key, 3 with Non Red Key (for videos with blue screen backgrounds), and 5 just videos with no added FX. I am able to copy keyframe animation (specifically motion/rotation) from one clip and paste to another but only with the same FX. For example, I can copy/paste from one Green Screen Key clip/track to another, but not to a Non Red Key or a no FX track. When I try to do so, Paste is greyed out, so it is not possible to do so. This seems like a bug to me. Why would I not be able to copy/paste just because of a different FX key? If this is a bug, how do I report it?

I have a perfectly  good working version of Premier Elements 7 ( purchased years ago) now installed on a new PC with Windows 10.  Yes old but good enough for me. My Mini DV Camcorder is a Panasonic NV -GS 280.  Again old,  but a great camera.  I can down load a mini DVs taken years ago  into  Premieier Elemnts 7 using a firewire cable. In turn I can organise and edit the movie. When I come to burning a disc this is when the trouble starts. A message directs me to an Adobe web site to activate the function. Nothing!  I talk  to Adobe. They  say that 7 is no longer suported. I down load a trail version oe Elements 2020. This  does not support my camera. Does anybody have any good isdeas asto how I can burn a disc of a movie edited  and ready in Element 7?

I've created a project with over 300 jpg files. Currently have 2 .Mov files imbedded in project in the appropriate places.  Attempted to add another .Mov file but Elements adds it next to the audio files instead of inserting the .mov in the location selected.  Can't figure out why this .mov file is being treated like an mp3 file. Appreciate input/ideas to resolve. 

It was working perfectly until a few days ago, when it suddenly started crashing (without opening the actual app first) whenever it got to 'loading importerquicktime.prm' in the startup screen. I deleted and reinstalled it about ten times in various different ways, and now it opens alright (onto the eLive page), but if I click into the quick, guided, or expert tabs to try and start or continue an edit, it just crashes. I'm fairly sure this is still related to the quicktime issue in some way, although I'm obviously not 100% sure about that. There's no error code at any point, it just closes the app completely.

I can't scrub video in the timeline with thumbnails. The audio is fine, but I only have the choice of video being on or off. I still get the thumbnail of the beginning first frame and end thumbnail frame, but when I choose the video button at the beginning of the track, its either on or off. I used to be able to change the display style with 3 choices, but no longer, making it hard to see where to edit.Anyone else have this issue??

I have a new Dell XPS 17, Windows 10, with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, Studio Driver Version: 456.38 - Release Date: Thu Sep 17, 2020. In Films & TV APP all kinds of files (1080p, 4K) are running smoothly.Unfortunately, in Premiere Elements 2021 playback screen I get green horizontal lines and the video is running behind them. Please look at the attached screenshot.Any advice which can help to get rid of this bug will be appreciated.

I'm doing virtual videos for my church choir.  I've done several already, but for some reason, this particular project will not complete the export process.  I'm using 1280x720, the file size is 210.54 MB, the product is 4 minutes and 40 seconds, and I'm trying to export the final product as an MP4.  Is there a setting I should use to further render the product before export? 

I just started working on a movie I haven't opened for a week or two. All of the .mov videos are missing from project assets. The cursor stops at the first video during play - but you can hear the sound associated with the video. The app asks where the videos are, I navigate to the file and click on it; it asks for the same .mov file again. I tried to delete the movie files and try again. There are errors on every single file. These are the same exact files, with no editing, since the last time I worked on this movie. The videos play just fine outside of the app.  I opened a new movie and tried to import the files in question. I got errors on every .mov file.  I did upgrade to Big Sur since the last time I worked on the video. That is literally the only thing that has changed.  Help!

I am using Premiere Elements 2019 and Just realized there is no Menu Marker option.  All I have are options for Timeline and Beat Markers.  Apparently this version is not supported anymore, so does anyone have any ideas?
