Premiere Elements

When I try to import a Video or a Picture the screen get plenty of stripes and looks like that.What can I Do ? Many thanks for your suggestions.Roberto 

I'm finished my home videio editing. When I opened it to burn into a DVD-R it had a portions wich needed to be rendered. It started to render but stopped 5sec into it. I closed it to re-try it and same thing keeps happening. I also tried deleting that portion and tried burning, but now it doesn't want to burn. I get an error that there's not enough space in the disk?

This is on an Apple iMac running 10.13.6 I just did a trial install for Premiere Elements.   It seemed to work and I ended up with a new app in the Applications folder.    I can bring up the main screen that has thee options for organizers, photoshop elements, or Premiere Elements.  Clicking "organizer" works.   Clicking "edit video" does nothing.  A message pops up saying it is loading the video edit workspace but it never does load. Also in the Application folder is the editor app "Adobe Premiere Elements.app" (a 2.28GB app bundle) but clicking this does nothing.  Looks like it tries to load then fails silently.

Hi. I have a Panasonic video DV camera and windows 10. When looking at my devices, it seems that Windows does recognise my Panasonic NV-GS320. However Premiere Elements 14 doesn't identify my device. Using Firewire to connect the camera to my PC.When I had Windows 7, I could use Windows Movie Maker to import films but this program doesn't seem to exist anymore...Anyone  

Bonjour,Sur Adobe Premère Elements 2018, qui s'ouvre normalement, je peux insérer des images ou des vidéos sur la timeline, mais impossible de lancer la lecture qui reste figée. Si je déplace le curseur de lecture manuellement sur une autre image, rien ne se passe elle reste bloquée sur la première image insérée. Le logiciel est donc inutilisable.Dommage, car je n'envisage en aucun cas de passer à une version par abonnement, beaucoup trop chère.Si quelqu'un a une solution, d'avance merciDaniel Buob

I am having trouble with jittery video while I am editing. Everytime I make an edit and go to watch it back it is very jittery and its difficult to review what I have actually just edited. I am running windows 10 on a Samsung PC.I was hoping someone could give me some advice on how to help. Thanks.

I have a project with 4 clips a 3-6gb (1920x1080, 25mbit/s - h.265). Initally playback of the clips works fine. I can switch between the clips over the time line.After a couple of switches (4-5) the preview videos freeze.While audio is still replayed. I can still switch the possition. But only the corresponding audio is replayed not the video. Sortly after the application freezes.Sometimes I get the "media pending screen" or simply black screen ( both for ever)-but in the Task-Manager/Performance Meter I see there is no read from the harddrive by adobe premiere elements 2020 or any other app.The application itself is installed on SSD. The to be edited video on a high performance (220mb/s) hdd.(System is a 32gb of RAM on Intel Core i7 8700, Nvidia 1080 GTX, Windows Defender)

On an Apple iMac running 10.13.4 Organizer shows all the 1000+ photos in my library but all of the 60+ videos show as grey boxes.  When I try and play one I get an error box that has my system is missing the required codec.    I doubt this as every other video player on my system can play these.   They were recorded in an iPhone 6. I have tried transcoding to different formats using 3rd party software with no luck.   the file is an MP4, codecs are h.264 and aac. Could this be related to the other problem I posted where Premier Elements silently crashes before even putting up a splash screen?

My Premiere Elements 2018 crashed earlier today and will no longer work correctly.I can open it and add media and put it in the timeline and render it  but it will not allow me to do anything else.It will not play, will not edit, will not recognize my headphones and when I try to close it, it just freezes up and I have to go in through the task manager to close the program.It is not giving any error messages. I have restarted my computer many times and cleared all the cache files. If anyone knows a fix for this any help would be appreciated. thank you

I bought a combination Photoshop Elements / Premiere Elements years ago for a XP computer. Will it install and be useable on my newer Win 7 Pro system?

I have premier Elements 2015. There is a software fault in that the archive function does not work. It is supposed to strip out any assets not used in the presentation. Not only does not strip those assets out, it adds in any assets that were previously used in the make up of the presentation and which have subsequently been deleted. They are not in my assets list but appear in the archive.I have downloaded 2020 version and tried this. The same fault exists!Adobe’s reaction – buy 2020 and we will provide support. I have the video editor Premier Elements 2020. I wold love to use some cool "motion titles". Are ther any templates out there I can use? Seems all I came across is for the Premier Pro. If I happen to find motion titles, then how would I import them to my Premier Elements 2020? Thanks!

PROBLEM:  We cannot resize our Adobe Premier Application window on the desktop.  Is there a setting or preference that is forcing the application window to full screen? BACKGROUND:  In Microsoft Windows, most program or application windows can be Full Screen, Resized, Minimized, or Closed using the buttons on the top right of the application's title bar.  In our case, we can use the all these buttons.  Nevertheless, when in the resize mode, the Adobe Premier application window is display in Full-Screen, but will not allow you to resize the application window.  We get the context arrow on the borders of the window, but when we drag it flashes, initially showing some of the desktop, but snaps back to full size when you release the mouse button.

I've made a short video logo project (video, text, and sound) that I would like to insert near the beginning of other video projects in Premier Elements 2020. I've tried to import from files, copy and paste, and add  from media resources. Nothing has worked.  Can it be done and, if so how?Thank you very much!

In Voreinstellungen Audiogeräte ist als Ausgangsgerät Lautsprecher (Realtek High Definition Audio) Not Working aktiv. Ein Umstellen auf Realtek Digital Audio wäre noch im Angebot ergibt aber folgende Fehlermeldung"Die Geräteeinstellungen konnten nicht übernommen werden, da folgender Fehler auftrittMME device internal erro OK. Jetzt wäre eine Auswahl Lautsprecher (Realtek High Definition Audio) möglich mit gleicher Fehlermeldung. Geräteklasse ist MME, ASIO funktioniert nichtDer Sound ist on Board und funktioniert bei allen anderen Anwendungen. So I've been using Premier Elements 2020 for mulitple videos (around 100), never had any exporting or rendering issues. Until tonight. It's giving me a rendering time of over a month, and a exporting time of anywhere from 16-24 hours. My videos are typically anywhere between 45-60 mins, and the export process usually takes 30 mins tops. I'm using an Alienware R15 with nVIDIA Graphics Driver (which I just updated thinking it was that). Nope. Please help as this is vital to my work. Thank you

My video is blurry when I pull it into the timeline. Even when I render everything it's still blurry. Though when I pull a text (can be empty) on top of it, it becomes sharp. This is very annoying and I would like to always have a sharp video.

Hello, I've been running Premiere Elements 2014until today on my old PC without no problems. I did not feel the need to update, but now I have a new PC and I'd like to buy the latest version.Will my projects I am currenly still editing in Premiere Elements open without struggle in version 2020?  Can I just continue editing or are there more things to take notice of? I also am thinking of switching to Pro, but I guess the projects made in Elements do not 1:1 open in Pro, right? It is still possible to run Elements 14 next to Premiere Pro right? |Thanks for your replies and advise.RonaldThe Netherlands

Hi,update 20200130 "stripes" the preview in horizontal lines as a result of which it is not clear. The other parts of the menus seem to be fine. I restored the original installation and the problem was resolved. I installed the latest update again and the same problem was repeated. Any suggestions? 

I just purchased and downloaded Premiere Elements 2020 yesterday.  Every thing went smoothly right up to attempting to use this software for one of the main reasons I purchased it:  To sit at my terminal and capture video with a webcam. I have the Windows 10 permissions set so the Elements seems to recognize both my internal built-in laptop cam, as well as my USB Logitech C920 webcam.  But there is *no display* when looking at the capture window.  I can take a little video and then see it upon playback.  But the audio is not synced. This strikes me as a BASIC function. I just purchased this software yesterday - for this very purpose - among others. I sure would appreciate some support from the manufacturer. And I'm wondering, of course... if I can't get this working - do I have any recourse?  Do I get my money back? Thanks in advance for any help, input etc.

Wanted to check this out because i need to do some things i cant in premiere pro but i cant find elements in the cloud to try or sub too.

I understand that green spill means there is too much light or that the presenter is too near the green sheet. I have tried many settings - distance (as much as 12 feet between green sheet and subject) and various light settings and I am still unable to get rid of the green spill.The quality of the recording is good but after editing, the green spill persists. I think it is more apparent for us Deaf presenters as we use sign language, ie, quick movements of hands and arms. Normally people would not spot it but we Deaf peope use our eyes and we focus on signing hands and when one looks carefully one can see the faint tinge of green spill around the fingers and thumbs.Today I did an experiment using my ten year old hand held HD camcorder. Obviously the quality is not as good as Canon XA25 but I was very surprised to see, after editing, no green spill at all! I’m now wondering if I’m using incorrect settings on Canon XA25?
