PROBLEM: After previewing a picture or video associated with a face, from an unnamed people stack, we cannot return to the face stack listing to name that person. How do we toggle back to the faces we are trying to identify or name? BACKGROUND: As we begin identifying unamed faces, we open an unnamed stack and sometimes have to look at the associated media (picture or video) in order to positively identify the person. We do this by double-clicking a face which brings up all the media for this stack with the desired photo or video selected with a check mark (wish it would just bring up the single desired photo). Then we must double-click the photo to enlarge it enough to identify the person or to play the video. Once the person is identified, we would like to return back to the unnamed stack in face view, so we can name that person, along with copies of the same face. The problem is that when we back out of the media window, using the return
Hello All,I am very new to video editing and could use a couple of "pointers". I am a member of a national car club and volunteered to edit a Zoom meeting recording of our board of directors and over 150 attendees (in webinar format). I have two primary videos that were captured by Zoom. One is the speaker view and one is of the gallery. I would like to intersperse some of the video of the gallery into the main video, sort of like B roll when the speaker refers to someone in the attending group. I guess I need a few suggestion as to how to tackle this process. I have rendered the timeline so that I can more easily see where my edit points should be, but still need some help with the rest. I have previously used iMovie on my MacBook Pro, so I'm familiar with some video editing techniques, but felt that I needed to use something a bit more feature rich, so I got Premier Elements 2020. Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.&n
I have updated the OS to Catalina but the install still freezes at 2% and says that it will take 400 to 402 mins!!!
I have a number of old analog and digital video tapes that I'm trying to consolidate and turn into a few single videos. I imported them to the computer as .avi file and can successfully edit each one. But when I export them as .mp4 files, they do not fill the screen. The still maintain the same 4:3 aspect ratio, but are noticeably smaller. Example attached. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.
I've just started using 2020 and want to burn to a USB stick to watch on TV. Can you tell me the best option for this - I am confused at to which to choose. In 2013 I could just burn to a file and then drag and drop.
Could someone provide me guidance on how to use the Difference Matte effect? I can't quite figure out the correct way to layer the source, static background and destination background video tracks, which track(s) the Difference Matte effect shoud be applied to, and what should be designated as the Differnce Layer for each track (if applicable). Thanks!
I understand that when I install my second copy of Premier Elements on another computer, the files that I make on one computer will not sync with the other. Can I download Premier Elements files to a thumb drive, and access and change them on the other computer, and vice versa? Also, I bought my Premiere Elements license about a month ago. Since then I've seen packages allowing a purchase of Photoshop Elements at a reduced cost. Is it possible to have the earlier purchase grandfathered in and acquire Photoshop elements at a reduced cost now? Thank you very much.
Hello,I'm new to Adobe premiere elements 2020 with a windows 10 pc. I recorded the screen while playing a Game with the Xbox Game bar and got this result when importing the video in premiere elements. The multiple image sections do not appear when the film is playbacked with other programs. This problem does also not appear with any other game. Can somebody give me a hint what is wrong? The game is played on a monitor with a resolution of 2650 x1440. Thank you very much!Best regardsStefan
When I import a mov. file I have audio however when I save the file there is no audio but a clicking sound. I have tried saving using different options but no luck. What can I do?
I am using elements 15. I am trying to record voiceover but I constantly hear myself. How do I disable it? I use a USB snowball microphone.
Hello, I'm using PE13 on a 16-month-old iMac with macOS Mojave version 10.14.6. For a long time I have been able to separate the panels in the main workspace, particularly the timeline and the video monitor, dragging the panels into different sizes. Yesterday, I restarted my iMac and found that the panels were suddenly fixed together, despite my efforts to again shape the size of the timeline without altering the monitor. Does anyone know how I can again resize the panels as I am used to doing? Thanks.
Anytime I've ever tried to do any color corrections in Elements the footage will have random breaks in the effect. The footage will look like the effect is being switched off at times during the clip. I've noticed this issue almost every time I try to use the adjustment tab. It occurs when I use auto smart tone, or even just simple lighting adjustments like brightness, contrast and exposure. Does anyone know why this could be happening. I'm using Premeire Elements 2018 on windows 10. Thanks
Premiere Elementshelp says that I can nudge (CTRL ALT up/dn/le/ri) parts of the final composite image into position by Nudge Selected Object Left by Five Pixels Ctrl+Alt+Left ,and the other directions likewise.great feature, but it does not exist.I suggest you add it. Title edited by Mod
I've recently installed Premiere Elements 2020 on pc with Windows 10 version 2004. The program will open once after system restart and I can use it. But, when I close it, it won't open a second time until I restart the machine; then repeat! I don't get an error message: simply no response.
I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 and I have a very fast computer which I built earlier this year with AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight Core Processor at 3.7 Ghz, with 32 GB RAM. I shot some GoPro video at 240 FPS to create slow motion and when I try to import it into PE it appears to improt and it will appear with the first frame image and sometimes it will even play for a second or two at normal speed, with normal speed audio, but when I try to render the video, or try to make adjustments using the adjustments tools it will not work. If I go in and adjust the Time Stretch the video extends out on the time line the appropriate amount, but when I click play the time indicator moves and the clock showing where I am in the video changes but no image appears. Is there something I need to do to prepare the clip before importing it, or some driver that I need? I am perplexed and would really appreciate some help. Thank you so much for any help in advance.
Hello!I've been using Adobe Premiere Elements 11 since I first bought it around 2013. I've installed it on multiple computers and it's been installed on this one for over a year now with no problems. But now all of a sudden it's not loading when I try to open it. Trying to open even an old project isn't working. It won't open a new project, it won't open an existing project, it's just sitting at the main screen where I can choose what to open. The loading bar moves and spins, but when it finishes, nothing happens. It just sits at that main screen. My laptop is an hp and I've got windows 10 on it. Any advice? Since adobe doesn't help anymore if its an older product...
Hello,I’m hoping someone can help me solve an issue where the colors in my video appear brighter/washed out upon export. While editing in Adobe Premiere Elements, everything looks great. (Fig. 1 in the accompanying image.)When I export it, the exported video looks washed out, when viewing in QuickTime Player on my macbook. I uploaded it to Youtube and it also looks this way when viewing on Youtube on my Macbook, on my chromebook, and viewing through the YouTube app on my Television. (Fig. 2)Oddly, when I bring the exported footage back into an Adobe Premiere Elements project, it appears within Premiere with the correct colors. (Fig. 3)Additional Info: The export is MP4 H.264, high quality, 1920x1080. Any idea why this color discrepancy is happening and what I can do to fix it?Thanks!Alex
I have updated my Adobe Premiere Elements 2013 to 2020 because the app crashes if I open the setttings (where I can change global settings, recording, rendering). Is there any solution from Adobe? Things I have done:- I have updated my Windows 10 64bit to the actual packages incl .NET updates,- I have updated my JAVA JDK to the actual resources 14.0.2,- I have installed Kaserpky,- I use 3 monitors, all FULL HD resolution,- I have a computer like this (intel i7, 3,6 GHz, 16 GB Ram, 64bit, 224 GB SSD > 6,92 GB free, AMD Radeon Pro > AMD Fire Pro W5100, 4 GB, GDDR5, 1000MHz) I know, that the settings have done. Hey guys! I really need someone's help. I work on a big project now and I had a serious issue with PC so I moved all disks to another PC and of course the programm wanted to locate files. It took few hours and I was able to open the project. The problem is that apparently in the clips I got from the client there are the ones with the same names and premiere changed original ones with the wrong ones. In the library of imported files whole folders are wrongly put. What is strange, all clips that are wrongly put are highlighted with blue strips. How to change them for the right ones? Please help!!!!
Help!It finally happened. I'm out of space on my drive and need to move old contents off. Unforntutaly I'm not on NAS or SAN or RAID array so anything I do will ruin all the locations that my programs look for my media. Is there any way to tell my adobe products that everything is in the same file structure just in a different location without having to manually relocate every file? NOTE: I am not just going to move my whole library, the OLD stuff is going to go to a HDD for hot storage; but I am not going to keep my current projects or assets there. I am going to keep that stuff on my SSD so I cant just relocate the entire library. I just want to let the program know that this is going to happen: C:/videos/old / internal files and folders more old / internal files and folders even more old /internal files and folders
Hello everyone, I am brand new to premiere elements. I bought it to trim and combine screen capture videos on Win10 with an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440) w/ 21:9 aspect ratio. The videos I capture look and play normally on windows media player but when I import or add them to PE2020 the videos are not fitting or rendering correctly. I've seen a couple different adjustments made. In one variation the video is shrunk and large green blocks are used to fill in the empty space around the video. The other adjustment I've seen shows the video being duplicated to fit into the empty space. Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix this where I can work with ultrawide formats?
Adobe Premiere Elements automatically generates several folders and files when I create and save a project. These include folders labeled as follows: Captured Audio Captured Video Video Previews Audio Previews Encoded FilesDo I need to keep all these folders and included subfolders and files? If not, which can I safely delete?
HiI downloaded the trial of Adobe Premiere Elements 2019.I tried the software and want to purchase it. I clicked on the purchase button in the application and used my credit card details to make the purchase.I received an email with a serial number in it, but when I try to enter the serial number into the program I get an error message; "This serial number is not valid for Adobe Premiere Elements 2019".Whats more confusing is that I've noticed that in the email is says 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019', not 'Adobe Premiere Elements 2019'. I didn't select a product as part of the online purchase process (there was no option). Is 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019' the same thing as 'Adobe Premiere Elements 2019' ?I tried responding to the email, but it bounced. I've been unable to find any contact phone numbers for support (I'm in Australia). How can I get help to sort this out?Thank youBrian
Hi, beside using Premiere 2020 for editing I also use PE 14 as a replacement for Adobe Encore. However when I want to Export & Share the timeline from PE 14 to Disc it takes me, by default, to a screen to build a menu which I do not want. Can anyone please explain to me how I tell PE 14 that "I do not want a menu. I want an 'autoplay' disc" which does not have a menu. Thanks very much.
We are shooting top-down, a video of a table top game. After shooting our footage, we notice the camera was slightly askew...maybe 5-10 degrees. Is there a way to slightly rotate the clip, so that the table top appears straight in the final video?
